My wife and I utilized Catchy Cafe for Catering for a birthday event. While the menu was nice with lots of appealing options, we ran into a brutal issue once we picked up the food, this place does not understand how to do catering.......... In the past, when we have done catering, you order the food, pick it up, and maybe you need to heat the food for 5 minutes for your guests to arrive. The problem is, Catchy catering is actually a meal prep service. The food I picked up was legitimately raw and requires a kitchen and extensive cooking. I have never seen this ever from a catering place. Isn't the point of catering for it to be ready? The shrimp raw, the steak, only seared and not cooked, pasta cooked, but store bought (clearly) and sauce had to be mixed in separately. The tacos not put together and were crackers, not tacos. Pure catastrophe. While the food (when WE cooked it), was okay, nothing to rave over considering the cost, it was not worth the aggravation and tediousness. If we didn't have a kitchen, we would have been screwed since everything needed meal prep and time to cook. Due to the way this was handled (we were not told this was required prior to placing the order), we can't recommend for Catering. Please seek services elsewhere. read more

I've dropped in a few times after work for some grab and go items when I didn't want to cook. My favorite grab and go item that is consistently in the fridge are the veal meatballs. The buffalo tenders and mykonos orzo salad are pretty good too. They usually have soups and salads ready also. They increased their hours recently which helps on those late weeknights. They also started selling ice cream which I have yet to try. They have catering too - the menu items look really good and I once stumbled upon an event at a jewelers they were catering. Came here for lunch with girlfriends. I didn't know this prior to coming but this place also does catering and local food deliveries so I grabbed a menu prior to being seated. We sat outside in the courtyard which is shaded. It is a small space and it's prime seating so I can imagine if you come between 12-1pm the space would be filled up. We were on the later side and got right in. Such a delightful outside space and it felt extremely relaxing. Almost a bit storybook'ish. Our waitress was amazing. Very attentive from the first minute we sat down which set up the dining experience for an A+ right of the bat. We also received smiles from everyone else as soon as we walked in. Between our group we had a crab cake salad special, chipotle chicken salad special and the shrimp tacos. The presentation of everything was beautiful and the portions were pretty large. I had the crab cake special and it was okay. The salad was dressed perfectly, fresh and delicious. The crab cake eh. Chicken was okay and tacos seemed liked. The prices were in the higher side for lunch but I would try this place again due to the ambiance and great service. read more

I've tried this place 3 times. The food is overpriced and very bland. The portions are small for what you're paying. They don't have any delivery service until after 5pm so don't plan on ordering for an office unless you want to go pick up your mediocre (at best) and overpriced food. Make sure you ask for napkins and utensils if you need them because they don't seem to be included. Also make sure the containers are completely closed so the food doesn't leak out of the flimsy paper bag they use. The staff is very friendly and the place does seem to be immaculately clean. Beef stroganoff - The beef is a painfully obvious cheap cut of meat which would be fine if the chef knew how to cook it properly. He/she clearly does not because it was rubbery, chewy, and borderline inedible. The broccoli had no taste whatsoever. The stroganoff itself was bland and lacked any real substance. No seasoning, no real flavor. Rigatoni - This was just ok. They don't put enough sauce for the amount of macaroni they give you but that's ok because the macaroni was overcooked and mushy. Grilled cheese - Grease ball sandwich. Stay away. 3 strikes and you're out. read more

This deli is definitely good and has a nice variation of things on the menu. However it's quite pricey. Every now and then if I'm willing to spend a few more $'s on lunch, I'll order from here. Came here with my husband and daughter...what a rip off! $10 for a kids meal, for 3 chicken fingers and overly salty fries even our toddler didn't eat. The ambiance was awkward and had bad vibes. No music playing and only one other table it felt more like a library than a lunch place. I asked for my sandwhich on brioche roll instead of ciabatta bread and was told they couldn't, even though several sandwiches on the menu featured brioche rolls and it therefore would've been an easy swap. The chef behind the window said it in a nasty tone which just added to my instinct of "we should probably just leave." After waiting 20+ mins while no one else was in the restaurant we get our food. My sandwhich was the turkey with some sort of relish. It was bland, overpriced and I've quite honestly had way better from Panera. My husbands order was the absolute worst. He got the grilled shrimp wrap and it was atrocious. For $14, he got 2 shriveled, burnt shrimp on a bed of unappetizing slaw. It was essentially a slaw wrap, for $14...what an absolute joke. Please take a look at my picture of what we were served, quite the contrary from the false advertising of pictures on here. I wouldn't eat here again if you paid me. Everything is really good and actually really fresh especially since the pandemic you normally don't see that kind of freshness and around every restaurant. The chicken is very wholesome on the sandwich the taste is very consistent. You will not be disappointed to order from this place at all. I suggest you come pick it up yourself and don't leave it to a Uber Driver to deliver it because not everyone is experienced and delivering hot food. I really wanted to like this place but so tremendously disappointed. We ordered three bowls and all three had minimal vegetables or protein. The mikonos barely had any chickpeas or spinach. The burrito bowl barely had any beans, it was basically a container full of rice and a rotten avocado mixed in. Agree that the food is bland and way overpriced. Ended up having to pull a salad out of my fridge to mix into our dinner. I hope they can fix the proportions to get a little more balance to their dishes. read more

I hosted a holiday party last weekend, and after using another caterer for the past 12 years, I went with Erin & The Catch-y Caterer this year. She was phenomenal. She listened to what I wanted and put together a fantastic, fun and interesting menu of stationary and passed appetizers. The food was AMAZING. Everything was delicious, the selections were creative and the presentation of each offering was chic and festive. I opted to go with a waitstaff for the first time, and Erin recommended a server and a chef for a party of my size (50 people, in my home, a casual holiday cocktail party). After this experience, I'll never host a party of this size without staff again. They were so professional and kept everything running smoothly--I actually got to attend and enjoy my party for the first time since I started hosting it. Plus my kitchen was totally clean when they left, they even took the garbage to my cans on their way out. I had very little to do after the party ended. When I woke the next morning, unless you'd been here the night before, you'd never have known that 50 people were there drinking and eating for 6 hours. Catch-y was more a bit more expensive than my previous caterer, but almost negligibly so, and they were worth every single penny. The quality of the food, the selection, the presentation, and the taste were all superior than in previous years. The food was just so good, every single thing. It was an all around excellent experience, from start to finish. I'm using them again for Christmas Eve (no staff this time, it's a much smaller party), I'm ordering some platters and bake/assemble items. I'll definitely be using them for this party again next year. I can't recommend them highly enough. read more

Catchy catered my daughter's first birthday party this last weekend and the food was AMAZING! I wanted something more than just hamburgers and hot dogs, and Erin was able to whip up a menu that sounded so delicious and unique. The crowd favorites were the candy bacon, the sticky Thai chicken bites, pigs in a blanket, the strawberry lemonade, and the BBQ coca cola ribs (the meat just fell right off the bone). We hired a chef and a server and those girls went above and beyond! After they set up the food they even started asking the other vendors if they could help out -- like bring up the cases of alcohol to the party area. And afterwards they scrubbed my kitchen so I didn't have to lift a finger afterwards. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. read more

Catchy catered an open house for us. The food was awesome and the staff was INCREDIBLE! I can't say enough positive things about them. They came in and took charge and didn't need me for anything... they lit candles, opened packs of napkins, decorated the serving tables all without me asking. I never want to have a party ever again with out those 3 staff members ! And I was getting dressed and doing my makeup and hair while the staff was prepping before the party. I got clothing advice and help with my hair . That's what I call full service catering! All the guests were raving about the food and service as well. By the end of the evening I several requests for the caterer's information ! Erin's personal help and expertise was invaluable. She really helped narrow things down and solidify the plan when we had absolutely no idea who was coming ! She is very decisive and spot on! Love it ! A solid three stars which is A-OK. My companion and I both enjoyed the Caribbean shrimp bowl with mojito marinated shrimp, brown rice, black beans, mango, crunchy slaw, and the spicy lime vinaigrette. Dined here for the first time today with my wife for lunch. The menu consists of tasty sandwiches and healthy salads and grain & greens bowls. You order & pay at the counter then sit while counter staff servers you, Erika was super sweet and nice. I had the pepper jack cheese Chicken sandwich, which was citrus grilled with avocado and topped with chipotle lemon aioli served on a toasted ciabatta and was delicious. My wife had the Baja Salad made with romaine, roasted corn, cherry tomatoes, queso fresco, guacamole,, tortilla strips, & served with a tasty citrus lime vinaigrette and raved about it.
