We purchased a use truck. it was nice that when doing this no pressure from sales person. Found a truck we liked and Derek was great we got our financing done in a hour at a monthly payment we could afford Derek has made sure we were totally satisfied . Would recommend highly

I really didn't want to have to buy a car, Let alone have to drive to another county to buy one, but I'm glad I came here. These guys are awesome! straightforward- they tell you what's up and I appreciate that. They did not waste a second of my time, totally professional and the owner is very hands on, He's involved in every sale it's just probably the most painful car buying experience I've had. I cannot recommend them any higher. Kevin-you rule man. Turns out our busted up backs are soul brothers And at the end of everything we figured out that he knows my dad and my dad knows him...but we didn't know that going into it. Small world But I felt like family the second I walked in the door. Thanks guys!

Let me start off by Thanking Kevin!! You have made this experience amazing and easy! My situation was a little complicated but after explaining it towithin an hour he got me approved on this awesome car and with a really good rate. Drove 1hr. And 30mins to pick up my car and every minute was worth it!

They put me in touch with a fixer who assured me he would stay in contact and get this fixed. He did this for a week claiming their team was working on it. His last email was how I need my Mac book operating on at least OS 11. I informed him with a picture that I am operating on Tahoe OS 26 Then he said that this is not true! Saying I was below OS 11. Basically calling me and my computer a liar. Now I have not heard a peep from them. This is so unprofessional- Do Not Bank with these people . Especially if you have an up to date Mac book. Extremely disappointed with the mortgage underwriting team at OCFCU. Despite providing clear…read moredocumentation and citing specific Fannie Mae guidelines (B3-3.7-02) regarding business cash flow, the underwriting team ghosted me for a week, and their manager Monica Partida refused to apply standard industry add-backs, resulting in a wrongful denial. OCFCU went back on their word after I was promised by my loan officer Jennie Jacobson. that OCFCU would apply standard industry add-backs to my income. While she promised to use standard industry add-backs to secure my application (and Hard Credit Pull), they then fundamentally changed the "rules" during underwriting to deny the loan. Indeed, the entire culture at OCFCU is decayed with failed communication at each level. Even after escalating my credit appeal to the executive board, I was ghosted for two weeks with zero accountability or rebuttal. The executive board (Kathy Jumper, Donald Carazo and Jeff Harper) never sent me a single message acknowledging my escalated complaint and appeal. My appeal was affirmed and singed by OCFCU fourteen days after the fact and coincidentally the very same day I told them: "Too late, I will be publishing my bad experience with OCFCU online." Although, instead of simply emailing me an update, they claimed to have snail-mailed me the response to my appeal--nothing was ever received in my mailbox. If you are self-employed or have a complex income, save your credit score and go to a lender that actually understands modern secondary market requirements. UPDATE (May 13, 2026): After escalating this matter to the Executive Board and the NCUA, the Chief Lending Officer Jeff Harper personally intervened to make right on the misrepresentation of underwriting standards. The Credit Union has since facilitated the removal of the hard credit inquiry. While I appreciate the eventual accountability from leadership, I do believe the initial process for self-employed members remains flawed. 3 stars for the resolution, 1 star for the experience.

After talking with Jeff, it was easy to see why he has so many rave reviews! He walked myself and my husband (in 2 separate phone calls) through the whole process and what we can expect. After our initial call on Thursday, Jeff presented me with the perfect car on Friday and we picked it up Saturday morning. Certified Pre-Owned 2022 model still under warranty with no money down, no haggling with the Dealer, just a simple in and out process. Jeff managed the process from start to finish and made it as simple as could possibly be. I highly recommend giving him a try and have already referred several people to his services already. I never imagined I would be able to purchase such an amazing car, at a great rate, but Jeff made it possible. I will definitely be using his services again in the future.

Do your homework people. Ask questions and explore all of your options. Don't allow anyone to tell you what "won't" happen and what you "won't" have or be able to do. Those are global statements and bordering on if not outright scare tactics used to steer you in a particular direction. No one person or business is your only option, BK or not. They may simply be the first to send out their mailers. I went in to apply for an auto loan, and the guy helping me (Tony) seemed like he couldn't wait to…read morego home. I was approved for the loan with little explanation or info on what to do next. I went home only to realize that the terms and conditions for the loan had a gray area condition that might not even work for my situation (something that could've been made clear upon receiving approval). Not that big of a deal.. I then attempted to call not only the loan officer himself, but the branch, as well as the company's main office line to no avail. I go back later the same day to see the same loan officer walking around freely, chatting happily with co workers (even though I was told over the phone that they were all unavailable or with customers). We speak again and I get a vague answer from Tony about the discrepancy, but this time I'm told they have to "wait for approval from the back office". This was all on a Friday, so I was aware that there would be a longer than usual delay over the weekend to get that answer. Come Monday, I receive nothing (by 1PM). I try and call all 3 lines again, nothing. I decide to go back in for a 3rd time and this time I spoke with a different loan officer (after requesting to speak with a manager and waiting 30 minutes), and he basically told me the same thing, that they were "working on it". I was told I would for sure get the answer I needed by the end of day, "maybe even sooner". That was at 2PM. Next thing you know it's 5PM (they're closed) and I've still received 0 updates or answers to my simple question regarding the loan. Now it's Tuesday (12PM) and I call again, just to be told by a main office worker that he "couldn't get ahold of anyone, but someone from the branch would give me a call by end of day". Based on my experience so far, I HIGHLY doubt that's gonna happen, and I'm tired of going in and waiting 30+ minutes for the same answers with no progress whatsoever. This whole ordeal has been a major waste of my time to say the least. This place has managed to turn something so simple into a major headache of mine. I'm having a really bad experience with this company so far. I would certainly not recommend.
