They are working in that one too and could have pissed there. Oh! In their carelessness they turned my stove on and burned some of my Tupperware. They were supposed to be done by 5pm, but it is currently past 9pm and they are still here. If they didn't have the building water tuned off I would have thrown them out hours ago. Pathetic. Apparently they are still here because a plumber can't properly measure pipe and brought the wrong size. My evening is ruined, I'm exhausted from work, I can't make dinner, or shower. These people need to go back to plumbing warehouses. Not fit to be in anyone's home. Update! They finished at 10:30pm. They had been cutting copper pipe with a saw in my kitchen all day, walking on the metal shavings, and grinding them into my hardwood floors. When I noticed and complained about it I was told to "shut-up" in my own home. Maybe hire these people to do plumbing in a basement or garage. Do not let them in your home if you care about it.

So I requested the "second" appointment which they said they can't guarantee the timing of arrival. I told them I am not available after 2pm due to needing to then get my son from school/other activities. Was warned it was a 60-90 min appointment. So tech would have to be here by 1230. 9/28 was my initial appointment. I cleared my garage and the space around my tank, sent pictures, and waited at/near home constantly by my phone for me to get a text about an "emergency situation" at 12:20. I cancelled and rescheduled for the following Monday (the only day I have free) for the "second" appointment again because I'm only available from 9-2. 10/5 attempt number 2. Morning comes and goes and I got the same exact text, copied and pasted from before about an "emergency situation" that arose. I texted them back and told them I was no longer interested after not being able to be accommodated twice and having my time wasted. I was then called and texted multiple times in a short span around 12:45 saying they magically had someone available. I told them it's already too late and the tech wouldn't be done with the flush before I need to leave. I told them clearly on the phone I am going to look for a different company and they continued to tell me they wanted me to reschedule. I finally told her that I was done with the conversation, to have a nice day and hung up on her because she was NOT getting it. All in all pretty terrible experience/scheduling on their part. This is for a very short and routine appointment too so I can't imagine if I actually needed help in a timely manner.

I assumed the mixer cartridge needed replacing. This is a repair I would usually do myself, but since I live about 45 minutes away I decided to call a plumber in the area. Based upon the 5 star reviews I called Marysville AA Plumbing. 2. After looking at the problem the plumber recommended taking out the entire existing Delta fixture, "since Delta parts were difficult source," and installing an entire new Moen valve and housing assembly, which would also require cutting a hole in the adjacent closet to access the pipes. Estimated total (not including drywall repair) - $1600. Could the plumber breakdown the estimate into parts & labor? No. Really? Sounded a bit steep to me but what do I know. Maybe Delta parts are really hard to find. After passing the quote along to my wife we agreed to say no thanks and get another bid. 3. At this point I went online and within 5 minutes located the replacement cartridge at multiple Home Depots for $65. I purchased the cartridge and installed it myself in under 30 minutes. 4. Either I was being scammed or the plumber didn't know what he was talking about. Beware.
