Our daughter turned 4 and we booked the Gold birthday party package which is a great deal. It's for 10 kids (including birthday child) and includes unlimited rides, unlimited mini golf, pizza of your choice for all the kids, souvenir cups with unlimited refills for each child, crowns, a return ticket for each child, and each adult is only $10 (normally about $60 for all that). Every child and adult had a BLAST! Park was well kept and tidy, clean and stocked restrooms, only 1 ride was closed down (most likely due to covid), and our hostess was INCREDIBLE (was her first day too). We booked the 1.5 hour party time for 3pm and with that came front row seats to the magic show and I had tears down my face from laughing so hard, the show was just fabulous. His slight of hand is other worldy and his assistant, Dawn, is super nice and also the booking person for the birthdays. My daughter even got to help out on stage, the entire auditorium sang happy birthday to her, and the music they played isn't just silly kid songs. I loved every song thst came on, and even got me to dance!! Food outside of the included package was delicious, good portions and reasonably priced. The arcade was even clean! Mini golf is always a hit. The rides have a well balanced assortment from fun and slow kiddie rides for any age to an intense scream your head off loop coaster and most attractions were "fluffy friendly" (I am a plus size mom ). I cannot stress this enough: if you are considering booking a bday party here, do it. It will be the talk of the year and your kiddo will feel so special. Facility is non smoking, but even if you do smoke it's not hard at all to exit to the parking lot and re-enter (this place is super accommodating). They have a bag check and metal detectors which I appreciated. We all had such a great time thst we will be booking it again next year and also for our other daughter. We're also going to get an annual pass because we just can't say enough positive things about our experience and would go every weekend if we could. read more

If I could give less than one star I would. The park is disgusting, the food was awful, and the staff do not care what goes on there. First we went in to do mini-golf I asked at the front if the golf was handicap accessible and she told me yes. It is not. I had to fight for a return of my Mom's ticket for golf because she couldn't even get to the course. We decided to get lunch while we waited for our party to play golf so she wasn't just sitting around. The food was terrible they have a sign up on the wall for chicken tater tots, but when you order it they let you know that haven't offered that for a few years now. We ordered burger, pulled pork and chicken tenders. And it was all awful tasting and poorly cooked. The tables and the floor were disgusting. When we asked for a rag they said they couldn't give us one that someone was supposed to be cleaning the tables but wasn't. read more

I took my 7 and 8 yr old here on a Wed and we all enjoyed the day. You can purchase a Summer Pass, for $30/ea & that gets you unlimited visits to the park, water area & golf through SEPT. 22! *Water area is pretty small.. more like a Splash Pad w/3 tiny slides. No little pool to hang out in. Adults can go in but not on the slides. My kids played in here for a good hour or so & I was able to cool off. *"Cabanas" are small EZ-UPS right next to everyone. Not worth paying for! *Not crowded AT ALL. We didn't wait in 1 single line. *My kids were able to ride all of the rides, not that they wanted to, but I had a blast riding solo on a couple! *$10 parking *Overpriced food but I brought a backpack with snacks & it wasn't checked at the entrance. *$1 Carnival type games. *Miniature Golf was really fun w/my kids! *As many other reviews mentioned- the restrooms need a major remodeling. Great, charming amusement park for an incredible price! It is a bit far for us (we live in LA) its about an hour and twenty minutes without traffic) but it is worth it. So our group went to Castle Park simply for the mini golf and we were not disappointed (for the most part). Only $14.99 will get you unlimited mini golf until 8pm on a Sunday which is not bad. Got there about 2pm and went straight to concessions for some snacks before we started playing, only to find out the snack bar was closed in that specific area (hence only 4 stars). Small personal pizzas and okay BBQ foods were the main items. Funnel cakes and dip-n'-dots were another favorite. On to mini golf. 4 courses with 17 holes each, and the 18th hole is really just a ball return. We were honestly only able to complete 3 courses out of 4 and we had a blast! Definitely fun as a group, or even a date night out. Bring comfy shoes as there are a lot of stairs and hills to walk up down and all around. Definitely will be back to check out the rest of the park. Mini golf was 9/10! read more

Visited castle park today (09/23/2023) with my son he loved it, it was amazing we experienced great customer service the few employees I encountered were very kind and welcoming the young lady in the front doing parking was friendly another young lady (I loved her big eyelashes and make up) was very warm, welcoming and funny I didn't get her name but to the young lady in the blue shirt and the big lashes thank you for your kindness! To the gentleman in the arcade I think his name was Darion thank you so much for being so patient with my son while he selected his rewards! If I could give zero stars I would. They close down the park from 5:30 until 7 pm during holidays, if your like me you don't look on their calender, it doesnt matter as long as they are open.They don't say anything when you walk in after buying tickets online. When you walk in they should tell you or it should be in BOLD print on the website. People who are there during the day are hearded to the arcade area or you have to do what I'm doing and sit in your car until 7pm. Tell customers when they go in this is ridiculous ​ read more

This place is a joke. I bought tickets online for their mini golf course and paid extra for 2 meal vouchers and $5 worth of arcade games. We get there with no one telling us that reserved spots are separate than the regular line. So we wasted about half an hour standing in line. Then we get to the food spot with half the food not available because they ran out. Then we ordered what they had left and very rudely Mia and Jenny snark at us saying it will be a 5 min wait. We said ok we'll wait no worries, we waited 20 min and our order was never called. We go back in line and ask about our order and they again snark at us asking for our ticket number. The park is OK but if you need to get food or drink be prepared to wait a very long time. And they have made me take food and drink back to my car even though we have a diabetic child and one that is gluten intolerant. So, then we go to there food stand where we wait in line for 25 minutes to order and then another 45 minutes to get the pizza. today I waited 40 minutes just to refill a cup. It got really hot and having to wait in line for a half hour plus for water is why they're medics are constantly rescuing people who have become dehydrated.. I brought my daughter a few times and anytime we are trying to find something fun to do she mentions Castle Park. For adults it's fun as well but for the kiddos is what it's best for. Had so much fun. We bought tickets online for half off when you purchased 4+. It included free parking and access to all the rides. The arcade was one of my favorite things to do in the park. The next best thing was the magician show at one of the restaurants. Anthony the magician did an amazing show and was very entertaining. I was really excited to check this place out with my family. Sadly i had a bad experience. First ride my girlfriend and daughter get on broke down. You would figure that staff would immediately press the E-stop button to avoid the cart that's coming in from crashing into the one that's stuck NOPE! 2 staff on this ride and one keeps asking if she pushes the button and the other staff says no. They're both just standing there watching this all play out until my daughter's cart crashes into the cart was stuck pushing them onto the platform to get off and now my child is stuck! these people start laughing!!! How is this funny! My 8yr old is on there and the kids in the front were the same age! I would of rather had them stuck at the top than to having them crash in the stupid cart! My 4 year old loves this place and went on her first roller-coaster here. It's great for toddlers that are getting to know rides and lines are genrally short. However as soon as you have to ask ANY employee any question they are rude, unprofessional, slow, arrogant, inefficient and dumb as a door knob. I grew up going to Castle Park and returned on the 24th of September to take my Grandmother out Mini-golfing. I must say, the park has greatly declined in cleanliness and functionality. Walking through the park to get to mini golf was sad to see, it was dreary, dark, dirty and the staff seemed depressed and moped around. The scene was almost out of a horror film. There was still a good amount of families there but it doesn't seem to have the luster an amusement park is supposed to have. We stopped in the big top tent to drink some water and it was scary dark in there, very dirty and had a small area to buy food that was reminiscent of a grade school cafeteria. I wouldn't eat there. I gave it two stars because the mini-golf is still a lot of fun and everything seemed to be working in that department. Tip: Don't wait in line for your tickets, just buy your tickets on your phone and use the mobile scan. The line is long and if it's hot out, it's quite miserable. read more

We rented a cabin in Crestline, which is gorgeous, but we've had to take a couple of trips to Riverside to find fun things to do for the kids. Today it was Castle Park, which sounded like a good deal for the money ($20 for all included: carnival rides, water park, & miniature golf) Husband was kind of bummed out that we also had to pay for parking on top of this. We noticed right away that 4 of the rides were closed, but as they seemed to be thrill rides and our kids are so young, I didn't care. The rides we went on were fun. I especially loved the carousel, which is pretty basic, but you can tell it is old (I read that it's from 1905???) And I appreciated that it was indoors, out of the sun. We tried mini-golf next but today was so hot we gave up after maybe 15 minutes, and headed to Buccaneer Cove (I'm not sure how anyone can golf during the summer; it was torture). The 6 year-old and I were super disappointed that there was no pool in Buccaneer Cove, just some water slides that dip below the concrete with water rushing through, and a lot of water features like you would find at a splash pad. We only spent like half an hour cooling off here before we got bored of this section and moved on. The arcade was ok. I really liked that silly ride where you shoot ghosts. All in all, this place is not mind-blowing but we had fun. It is a good way to spend an afternoon with family, especially if you have kids that complain about being bored out in nature (sigh). Still wish they had a pool though. That would have bumped it up to 5 stars. read more

This place was ridiculously busy on a friday afternoon. I get that they can't control the crowds but that's not why my review is 2 stars. When we walked in, there was a huge line outside to pay for mini golf. When we got closer we discovered only one young guy working the counter. Then while we waited, my niece wanted popcorn so i left my fiance in line and went and stood for yet another! ridiculous line inside. Again, only a young man working the counter. He delivered great customer service and you could see he was going as fast as he possibly could. Management might not be able to control how many people come but they should do a better job of staffing the place. Especially when you know its a friday afternoon during spring break week. I also hope those two employees are fairly compensated, because by the looks of it, they were going above what seemed would be a normal job task. The course itself was fine. There was an offer to enter the park for $13. We decided to use it and arrived at the park at 2pm on a Saturday. Parking was a breeze and cost $10. The park itself it very small. It has a variety of carnival rides and games, a small waterpark, an arcade, and a miniature golf course. The food was standard and the games were typical. So why the 5 stars? 1. It was really easy to find the location - it's right off the 91. 2. Parking was a breeze. 3. Admission is cheap. 4. It was not crowded and the lines were short. 5. The arcade has some very addictive claw games. We spent more in the arcade than admission and food combined. But most importantly, I had dropped my driver's license and credit card in the park. Security found it and kept it for me until I returned. The staff handled the stressful situation very well. If I lived within 15 minutes of the park, I would definitely buy a pass. Tip: Go after 6pm when the weather is cooler. read more

Went there today for the $10.99 roller coaster day special. It wasn't extremely overcrowded. We went to buccaneer cove which is just a kids playground with water but my 6 year old enjoyed it. We had dinner at the Big Al's BBQ place. They were extremely short staffed and we ordered ribs and the told us it would be about 20 minutes because they had to make a new batch. We ordered at 6:08 and didn't get our ribs until 7:08. The worst part about it was there were maybe 15 other guests in the entire restaurant area. The $14.99 rib plate was pretty good after an hour wait. They had great Mexican corn but the $6.99 price was a little steep. Overall, food was pretty decent for an amusement park. The rides had pretty short lines. We didn't wait longer than 10 minutes for any ride. Quite a few of the bigger rides like fireball, scrambler, and one of the roller coasters were shut down which was a bummer. The rides were perfect for my 6 year old who has absolutely no fear of anything. All in all, it was a nice day and very inexpensive. Definitely worth the $10.99. read more

Totally agree with all the reviews... It was SO much better in the 90s!! The rides that I loved are either gone, not operating or look so sketch that I didn't dare ride. The whole park from rides to food are so inefficiently run with lines from 30 minutes to an hour to get anything done. For nostalgia sake, it was a nice walk down memory lane but I think seeing the park from the freeway will be enough for me in the future. We went last night. It was a mess! No enforcement of mask or social distancing . An employee stood by us in line and the people behind us didn't even care to social distance . She didnt encourage or enforce any social distancing. A couple in front of us took off their masks to make out . Large groups of teenagers 20 roaming around yelling with masks off . Only one sink working in womens bathroom . Bathrooms were gross and not cleaned . One toilet full of blood. No seat covers . We got there at 8:00 for 8:30 tickets and were told to go to the maze the courses were packed.didnt get on the course till 9:30! Random people on the course without masks walking up to any holes. Took my kids to Castle Park last weekend and was a little disappointed. The maintenance on the upkeep is lacking. The staff however was great. The staff member that stands out the most was Kyle. He was operating one of the rides. This guy was smiling and interacting with all of the people. He sincerely looked as if he enjoyed his job even in the heat! Employees like him make your Park memorable and it absolutely helped in my rating. Nice job Castle Park on getting and retaining fantastic employees like Kyle. Please work on the upkeep. The golf course is embarrassing. This place was such a big part of my childhood, it is sad to see it so run down. read more

Made the trip to check this place out, since we wanted to take the kids somewhere they hadn't seen before. Some of the good was that my kids were able to get on (almost) everything they wanted to. Downside, they are little daredevils and like thrillers, which there isn't much of here. There are a few rides that do give you the butterflies but I would recommend this place for kids 8 and younger. The waterpark section was fun, but very crowded on the weekend. They have three small water slides and the kids enjoyed that- don't forget your bathing suit because you can only use the water slides if you have swimwear. They could really use more shaded areas in the water park. Three of the biggest rides were not working so that was a big bummer because they were the ones we were looking forward to the most. Overall it was a day well spent. The staff was super nice and friendly. Good place for young children. read more
