So much fun for the whole family to do. Awesome huge playground with sand , swings and tire swing. There's also lots of grass area with a jogging track , basketball court and tennis courts. Plus there is a clean restroom.

This used to a slide coming from here when I was a kid!

Great park- love bringing my 4 year olds to castle park when we are in the area. I used to come here myself when I was a young child (yes it's changed!) so it's nostalgic. So much room for them to romp around and play. If I could change one thing it would be the seating. It would be nice if they could add a few more benches, within sight of the children playing in the castle structure, to the play area. Other than that, no complaints! Nice area, nice park for babies, toddlers and children.

This park has a huge playground and is great for kids of all ages! There are toddler and regular swings, a tire swing, several slides, monkey bars, sand, basketball courts, and more. The surface is turf! There is plenty of parking!

The only thing is the customer service is incredibly poor. The two times that I have come in and then ask for the workers to set up a badminton net it was obvious that they were reluctant and annoyed. Especially today. I came in today around 1pm and checked in. After coming in, I asked for them to set up a badminton court, and I could tell right away that all the three girls were annoyed. One of the girls that I was directly talking to asked, "Did you check yet" in a rude tone. Which is fair considering I came in and just asked for it right away. But even when telling them that my friend that was already in there checked, they still were annoyed and looked like they couldn't believe me. They only started setting up when another person came by to ask to set up the net. I get that it's just a part time job, but these workers have some attitude doing a job that they signed up for.

Last Tues was their ribbon-cutting ceremony inaugurating 8 brand-new public pickleball courts in Irvine. + Tall fences to minimize ball-on interferences. + Many tables and benches to sit around. + Many clean restrooms 1-3mins walk away. + Enough baseline room for retrieving lobs. . Okay sideline room for ATPs. . Wide skill range there, from novices to high-intermediate players. - LONG wait. Since the first day, crowds rushed in to line up for open play. The rack is already full with 30+ paddles. + During middle of the day (lunchtime), it's empty. . Only one rack queue for all 4 (or 8) open-play courts. - Starting yesterday (Fri 2/6/26) the other 4 courts became reservation crts. -- On the first day, it was chaotic. My paddle was first in line. A game ended and someone called next 4 and gave me my paddle. I turned to hop on an open court, but no court was open. I turned back and the queue had already shifted along, so there was no spot at the front for me to put my paddle back. I asked around. One person said he was in the same situation, then he grabbed an open 4-paddle holder to put his paddle back in front of the line. I tried to put mine in, but he kept blocking me out to let his folks put theirs in. I was dumbfounded, disgruntled, distraught. No one cared to help my situation. An Irvine city employee walked by, and I explained my situation to him. He couldn't offer much help. After a few min, I accepted my miserable situation and put my paddle back in the end of the line. I only got to play 1 game that day. - The city employees should've known better. Keep 1 or 2 members monitoring the hectic paddle queue to ensure no one gets cut in line. . Moral of the day: before removing your paddle from the front of the line to hop on the next court, make sure you know which court # you're going to, make sure the ppl there are leaving, make sure the other 3 ppl in your group of 4 are going with you. . Idea: If you do wind up in my situation, and you've already lost your place in line, one thing you can try is grab an empty 4-paddle holder, squeeze it in to the front of the line, and put your paddle in. Offer any 3 random ppl (who are already near the front of the line) to join your 1st-place paddle holder. If people object, explain your sad situation first. If they remain adamant, I guess the mission's a no-go, then you'll end up having to return your paddle to the end of the line. I'm only just thinking of this idea now. Didn't get to try it while I was caught up in the moment. Hope the same thing doesn't happen to you.

It was five adults total--my mom wasn't able to play since she's disabled, but the staff was really accommodating, and we just left the door open so she could sit and watch us play, which worked out perfectly. The games were really fun, and the customer service was great--super friendly and helpful! We had previously tried Activate (which is similar), and I'd say we actually prefer the grid-style game at Activate since it feels more competitive. With RGB Run, the game started to feel a little repetitive after about 30 minutes, so I think it's more geared toward a shorter, one-session experience rather than a full hour. The main reason we chose RGB Run was because they offer private rooms, which is a huge plus. I didn't realize, though, that you're limited to just one style of game when booking, so I was a little disappointed they didn't have the specific game I had hoped for. That said, we still had a really fun time and I'd definitely recommend it for groups who want a private experience. Overall, a really enjoyable spot for something different to do with family or friends. I'd give it 4 stars--mainly because of the limited game options--but everything else (especially the service) was great!

When you walk in, it's a little confusing at first since it's not super clear where to go and the place is pretty spacious. We initially went to the cashier, and they directed us to the computers on the side to sign the waivers first, then come back to pay. After we paid, they told us the wait would be about 30 minutes, but surprisingly they called our names within just 2 to 3 minutes while we were still walking around. That was a nice bonus. :) They provided headsocks for free, and we didn't have to pay extra or sign up for any annual membership. Each race is supposed to be 12 laps, but if someone finishes early, you might end up doing less. One of the boys completed 11 laps, but didn't affect the experience at all. As we were exiting, we saw a podium area so kids hopped on for a quick photo. I've been here before for birthday parties and even with coworkers, and every time has been consistently fun. The staff was friendly and everything ran smoothly. Not really sure why this place gets some negative reviews. I haven't experienced anything negative. Would definitely come back.

If we lived closer, we would visit more often for sure!
