I have NEVER had this happen at Safeway or at grocery outlet. I think that the owners need to reevaluate their employees because this is unacceptable behavior.

Learned the pastries and breads are made at their other location and brought in which makes sense because the place is just slightly bigger than a shoebox, Ended up with a couple of ciabatta loaves, pecan bar and a lemon bar. The bread was the best, the bars weren't anything to write home about. We're planning to go back out in a couple of months and will give them another try earlier in the day.
