I can't express enough how grateful I am for Phil's help during a stressful situation. I drove from…read moreVirginia to North Carolina, and when I arrived, I immediately noticed a strange noise coming from my car. I was feeling overwhelmed After receiving an estimate from another shop that didn't properly check my car, my car was was now facing the possibility of a $1,600 repair without even knowing what was really wrong. I turned to Yelp for help. Within 15 minutes of submitting a request, Phil called me. He carefully listened to my concerns, reviewed the videos I sent, and offered honest advice. He explained the worst-case scenarios but also talked about potential minor issues that could be causing the noise. Phil's honesty and transparency immediately put me at ease. He told me to bring the car in first thing the next morning. When I arrived, Phil made me feel right at home. He took a thorough look at my car ("Betty," as I call her), and without hesitation, called his buddy to deliver the timing chain guide. While working on my car, Phil explained what went wrong and showed me the worn-out parts. He even took us on a test drive to make sure the engine was okay and topped off my oil. We were at Phil's shop from 8:30 AM to about 12:30 PM, and during that time, Phil made sure we felt comfortable. He shared the beauty of his property with us, from his cows to the peaceful creek in his backyard, and entertained us with great stories. His kindness and hospitality made all the difference. I'm beyond thankful for Phil's honesty, care, and transparency throughout the entire process. He didn't just treat me like another customer; he took the time to listen, explain, and fix my car in the most honest and cost-effective way possible. If you ever find yourself in need of a mechanic who truly cares about you and your car, Phil is your guy. Phil, if you read this, please know we will never forget how you helped us, and we'll be sure to drop by some goodies as a token of our appreciation. Thank you ($400) Phils Charge

I usually get very anxious when I go to a repair shop since I know nothing about cars, I am a female, and Im always scared I will be getting played into over paying like many other mechanics have done. While being immediately greeted and taken care of, they lent me a loaner car while my car was in the shop. Periodically thought the day they kept me up to speed on where my car was, what the issues were and what the price of each would be. It made me feel EXTREMELY comfortable that my car was in the right hands. I dropped my car off at 8 am and by 3 pm it was all done! What shocked me more than the amazing service that was provided here was that my car was vacuumed clean when I picked it up. I have NEVER had a mechanic shop EVER care for my car as much as L&N Performance. I cannot recommend them enough if you're looking to get your car serviced, 10/10! All I can say is this will be the ONLY place I get my car serviced ever again! Thank you all for the amazing service! Big plus is they are very Covid safe! And as someone who's not a local, it meant a lot to see they care about their employees and their customers! Thank you all!
