My boyfriend got a raspado de fresa, literally was mostly a mountain of candy on top and minimal liquid, 97% ice chunks. Also each of these are "mediums" and were like almost $8 each. Small value and mostly ice, not interested. Definitely my last time trying this place out, there are definitely better ones all along Salem and Woodburn.

I love to get there stuffed carne breads. Spicy, savory! Great pair with a sweet donut. They have a huge variety of pastries. Go check them out, it's worth a stop. The only experience that I've had there that wasn't that great. Was someone took my parking spot as I got there and was pulling into it and that's not even their fault. Lol. Oh, also because the place gets busy enough they can take a minute or two to get enough fresh trays and tongs to grab yourself your own dessert. Not their fault, just a busy business.

Let's talk about the pastries - Miranda's has both sweet and savory with my favorite being their jalepeno bread. Their jalepeno bread sells out quick, so make sure you're lucky that day or come early! We recently tried their ham and jalepeno bread and that has been an amazing experience as well. This mom n pop also has very talented bakers who nails their birthday cakes. The cake is moist and the whipped cream is prefectly sweet! ;) The ambiance at Miranda's Bakery is cozy and inviting, with modern decor that makes you feel right at home. We also love seeing the locals in Woodburn supporting Miranda's. Last but not least, the staff are an absolute delight. Passionate about their craft, their displays are constantly being refilled with fresh goods.

The batter doesn't stick to the apple very well, so it fell apart when you dig in with a fork. The apple has a nice bite. The ice cream topping is ok, but you definitely need it to balance out the fried stuff. I would prefer they put less whipped cream and more caramel sauce.

Typically I get a vanilla cone - I've never had anything but ice cream at Dairy Queen - and it always hits the spot. But the small cones are now teeny tiny cones and the price went up, so following a friends encouragement, I got a small s'mores blizzard. The sign says that the first one ordered is serve upside down to prove the density, and if not it's free. Well, only one was ordered and it was served right side up. Oh, well. For me, not a blizzard fan and I know that Im not the norm. Don't like all the ground up cookies and choco in my ice cream. And way too sweet. Next time, will go back to my regular order! Me not liking a blizzard is not DQ's fault, so not deducting stars. Service was fine, location convenient.

My parmesan crusted halibut was a little more dense than I would expect for that type of fish -- it was bright white, but was not flaky at all. The flavor was good, but it felt very heavy with the provided tartar sauce. The fries had great flavor, but they could have stayed in the fryer a little longer, as they were rather pale. The veggies were obviously frozen and reheated, and didn't have a lick of seasoning on them -- definitely needed salt & pepper. I ordered soup with my meal, and it didn't make it out before the main courses. Not a huge deal, as they just brought it out after I mentioned it. The soup was okay, but nothing special. The best part of the meal was dessert -- Dutch Apple Pie. It was just what an apple pie should be, with a nice flaky crust. I would definitely go back, but might try something other than seafood. Our experience was in the high 3-star range, but not quite a 4.

The girl also only gave my wife one of the two smoothies; my wife had to go back and they had it but didn't say anything I guess? It's insane to me the Jamba mobile app allows orders to be placed for locations that are out of the ingredients for said order, and the fact refunds can't be issued in-store is also insane. Part of the order subtotal included a 'service fee' for the running of the app?! Talk about a waste of money when the app can't even differentiate the viability of offered menu items at a given location.
