By far, the best dry cleaning in San Diego. Owner is honest and thoughtful; he knows his customers and remembers their names and preferences. Always has order completed on time. And will fold shirts for travel! read more

I have always had the best experience with dry cleaning. Great prices, good work, totally professional. But alterations...very very bad. Have taken 2. very expensive items for mending. Assumed it would be fine. One was a very expensive suede coat that was tearing. They patched it with a cheap looking plastic brown something. I was shocked they would even think of using this on my coat. The other item was a cashmere sweater that had torn under the arm. When I picked it up, they didnt fix the tear and all of a sudden there were 10 new holes on the back. I was devastated. For dry cleaning, very good. Alterations...the worst. read more

Cass cleaners is amazing! I live right down the street so I figured it was the most convenient not realizing it would also be the nicest and best experience ! The owner has the best vibe and really helped me out with getting my garments in time for traveling! read more

I've been coming here for months and every time my boyfriend or I have a bad stain - he gets them out!! So good. And such nice guy, very reasonable pricing, quick turnaround time. Can't beat it read more

Love this place. They are very talented and super fast.... Definitely recommend going here!

Always a pleasant experience here and job well done everytime! Surprised to see any negative comments about the owner he's such a sweet man

I have come to Cass Cleaners a few times always for my linens and white garments and I've always left extremely happy. Gets the touches stains out. I'm not sure why there a some bad reviews, but I always leave some grace for bad days/ mistakes. Set your expectations and you won't be disappointed. It does take a few days to a full week to clean, but I'm sure they could accommodate in time of need- I have never needed fast dry cleaning. Great service, hospitality, and for the price I'd say it's a steal! read more

I would give zero stars if I could! Following on from the other reviews mentioning horrible service - I have never met an owner as rude or obnoxious as the man I encountered today. I nearly left in tears! When I questioned a price he shouted at me, demanded 'what do you want then?!' aggressively and gestured at me. This was all while he remained on his cell phone which he had never left the whole time I was in the store. This is an angry owner who is extremely aggressive... I took my dresses to carasoul cleaners one block away and they were the exact opposite- super friendly and happy! Go there instead read more

Have given this business a few opportunities to have my business. Quality Assurance is why I rated this so low. I've taken a few items in for simple alterations (buttons, zipper and simple stitching). It never gets done correctly and this last time I was charged for a hem fix and it did not even get done. They boast their alterations and repairs.... Go elsewhere for that. read more

Amazing customer service! Was in a pinch and they were able to accommodate my needs. While also fixing a shirt that I thought the stains would never come out of! Thank you! read more

Firstly the dry cleaning is well done and reasonable. My son sends all his shirts there now. BUT secondly, the best aspect is the tailoring/ mending service. This place did a magnificent fix of a totally botched job from a different dry cleaners/tailor. Same price as the botched job but perfect. Absolutely perfect. Highly recommended for dry cleaning and mending/ tailoring. read more

I've been coming here for years but just this week I dropped off what I thought would be the most impossible dry cleaning job yet. I wanted to wear my friends lime green dress but there were multiple self tanner stains all over the dress. I wasn't sure if the stains would even come out but I know they do an excellent job so I dropped it off and they said they would do their best. I picked it up 2 days later and all the stains were gone! The owner went over it 3 times and was determined to excel and get these stains out. I was throughly impressed- they are the BEST! Now I can wear the dress to the event I'm going to this wknd. I highly recommend coming here and the people who work here are the sweetest people. THANK YOU! read more

Don't do it. They will still charge you even after messing up your clothes. You have been warned

I cannot recommend this place more highly! I stumbled upon it at random and am so thankful I did! The owner is so kind, he is cheerful and positive and always brightens my day. The prices are very reasonable and the turnaround time incredible. I dropped something else that I needed for Christmas three days before and he had it ready by Christmas Eve for me. Somehow he works miracles; my white jacket was stained far beyond hope and it came back spotless! I only wish I had before and after pictures to show how awesome they are. Can't thank Cass Cleaners enough! 10/10 read more

Sadly, the MANY BAD & HORRIBLE reviews below are touching on reality. The Owner is not nice or honest or doing good work. He is very GAMEY & deflects simple Qs & even refuses to tell the customer WHERE he cleans the clothes, he wants several days to return dry cleaning & puts them in his CAR to & fro. My last job was a simple Suit dry cleaning with known food drips on coat lapel area, we marked the areas with color tape even. It comes back in 3 days & with the SAME stains, $15. charge too. NEVER again. Stay away :( read more

We just moved to the area and I dropped a sweater off here. You wouldn't think that dropping off dry cleaning would leave you in the best mood, but the man who runs this is charming, friendly and professional, and determined to have you leave with a smile. Their prices are very reasonable, they have parking, and great service. What else could you ask for?! I was telling my local friends about it and saying this is the type of business that makes you want to find things that will need to be dry cleaned!! read more

The owner is one of the sweetest people I've met. Such a kind heart. Good pieces and quality cleaning.

I can't say enough good things about this business. Quality is always good but the reason I come here is because of the positive energy. The man behind the counter makes my day with his good vibes and genuine kindness. No matter how rude I have seen customers be for no reason... he always remains calm and professional while I'm about to kick a stranger in the throat for being mean to my friend. The world needs more people like him. read more

DO NOT USE THIS CLEANER. They lost my husbands clothes three times! The first time my husband went to pickup his tux before we were leaving town for a wedding and the cleaner had sent his tux to another location to be cleaned. The cleaners didn't bother to call us to let us know so we were super disappointed when we showed up and they didn't have my husbands clothes like they said they would. My husband did not get to wear his own tux to the wedding. Despite this incident, we decided to give the cleaner another chance and continued to support their business. But then the same situation happened with my husbands suit before another wedding and before a funeral. We will NEVER use this cleaner again. read more

They don't have a phone and they don't post their hours of operation. On yelp their business or website. How does one know when they can swing by. Mean people work during the day so wtf read more

Yes, they do a great job with dry cleaning my clothes but I also end up leaving this place in the happiest mood because of the owner. He is a TREASURE! The sweetest man. Always professional, always happy to help. read more

I really like this cleaner. I went on a whim because it's super close to my house, and I needed a couple of pieces dry cleaned. I am happy I discovered this little gem in north PB. The owner (or person that works there) is extremely nice and sweet. He is also accommodating and diligent. I will keep returning. read more

I just arrived to San Diego from Phoenix & found this place right next to my residence & the prices were extremely competitive! The customer service level felt like family! Go no-where else! I repeat.. I am referring everyone here!! Even friends when they arrive into town. read more

I've been coming here for alterations and fluff and fold since I moved to PB years ago. They have top notch service and the owner is beyond friendly. Amazing local business. read more

Dropped off my laundry and was greeted by the nicest man. Made my day. Then when I picked it up, he returned the cash I accidentally left in my pocket. High quality service! read more

would give this place no stars if i could! do nottttttt come to this place. this man loses clothes repeatedly, lies about when your clothes will be finished and does not handle customers properly! you heard it here first no no no! i would not trust this company as far as i could throw it! Oh and his response to losing my shirt "Go buy a new one and I will cover the cost" How **** Tacky can you be??????? read more

Zero greeting when walked in. Had to wait for her to put food down and finish chewing. Was dropping off two dresses for dry cleaning and specifically asked for armpit odor to be cleaned. No response. Yes? No? She nodded. Picking up dresses....No greeting again when in. No words at all. Took dresses to inspect and did not seem clean and armpits were definitely not. Asked why? No words. I asked again and said please explain I need an answer here when I dropped off you said yes you would. She claimed we all have an odor and can't come out. Really? I should've demanded a discount but i just paid and left. Will NOT go back. Not sure who voted them best in SD.....they are NOT. read more

I've used this place three times now for my work clothes and every time they have been able to have my stuff cleaned and ready for pick up the next day. Also, they didn't tell me this until the second time around, but if you pay for your order when dropping them off instead of when picking it up, they'll take 20% off. The only thing I find weird is that there is never anyone there when I walk in and then the guy walks out reeking of weed. But hey, if I worked at a dry cleaners all day, I might find a good way to pass my time too. read more

Fabulous cleaners. Professional. Courteous. Always a pleasure to go to Cass Cleaners. Thank you!!

Been getting my weekly dry cleaning here the last few months. Never had a problem and the staff is always nice. Competitive pricing and great service. What else could you want? read more

Friendly service and clean clothes. The guy there always remembers my name and I appreciate that when so many places you go to regularly treat you like a stranger or acts like you are visiting for the first time. I wear a lot of suits for work and i appreciate the turnaround time. Like I said friendly service and clean clothes, that's all I need in a cleaners. :) read more

I brought in my beige Banana Republic blazer in that my friend spilled wine all over my left sleeve. I was hesitant that the wine stains will come out since it was a beige blazer but Roy took his time and worked his magic like he said. When I came back, I wasn't expecting the wine stains to be completely gone, but it was! It was practically brand new all over again. Roy and everyone I've encountered there have also been very friendly and accommodating. This is where I will bring all my dry cleaning stuff from now on. read more

Wow, Najj is amazing . . . I had a dress hemmed for a wedding and it wasn't quite right. I was on the fence as to whether to have it redone and Najj patiently worked through it with me, until I decided to send it back. Fast forward to pick up day and the dress had not been delivered back to the store. I was going on a plane the next day, so this was terrible news. She finally calls me back and said it was on its way . . . Come to find she had a friend pick it up and deliver it to the store!! ABOVE AND BEYOND to make me a happy customer!! Thank you so much! read more

Great local business trying to survive during these hard times. Very friendly people and excellent services!

Needed alterations to 4 pairs of pants. Nailed all 4 and at a fair price. Also, always do a solid job with my dry cleaning.

The lady who works here is miserable. She seems like she's forced to be here 6 days a week and has a) never smiled and b) never remembers who I am no matter how many days a week I have come in over the years. If you own this place make sure you realize that everyone I know is boycotting this place because of the prices and bad service and also realize that you only get one chance with the locals. In addition, if you take cash only make sure you have a sign that states that clearly and not a non-English rambling on 2 pieces of paper taped by a child on your counter. read more

This place is a joke. They really think they can just go ahead and charge 4 times more the other place down the street just because they are that much closer to La Jolla aka the Beverly Hills of San Diego. I usually go to the other spot about two blocks south on Cass st. Here they only charge me around $1 per shirt for your basic dry cleaning. However I was in a hurry so I went here the other day and they charged me $4 per shirt. While it doesn't seem like a big deal in the scheme of things, the plain fact that it was that much more expensive really nipped me the wrong way. I will never come back here again! read more

Terrible service and very expensive. I went to go pick up my items and the lady would not let me pay with debit, she says cash only??? She looking to pocket the money?? Anyways, already have a new place thats on Ingraham. Cheaper and accepts debit cards without an attitude. Good bye Cass cleaners, it was not-nice knowing you. You lost a customer!!!! read more

So I just moved to the area and really enjoy walking everywhere and all the local business. I went in to get some leather cleaned and was told they dont do it anymore. The lady was rude and I waited in a line. I just thik they should take the sign down. FYI read more

Don't get anything altered here. I went to get some straps put on a dress and the woman measured and agreed to make each strap at 17.5 inches. She said to come back in 2 days. I asked her if she would write down the measurements and she just repeated the numbers. I then asked, ok well do you want my name? She said, ok and then took down my name. When I came to pick it up the day she told me to come back, a man checked me out. They did not have me try it on, so I tried it on when I got home. The straps were so loose that they kept falling down. When I measured them, they were over 20 inches. Worst experience and giant waste of money. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.... read more
