We had talked about what I wanted extensively, gave him photos, measurements and so I thought he understood. When his guys started digging the area I realized he was not doing what we discussed at all. Called him immediately to pause work until we could discuss what we had previously agreed upon. Once he pulled out of the job it was impossible to get ahold of him. So he has basically pocketed the deposit. I understand paying some for the materials dropped off and the three hours his guys were there, but certainly not 1/3 of the total expense. Other than that, over the course of working with him he was very difficult to get in touch with. He missed about 7 confirmed appointments.
