Pittman Construction did a horrible job while re-doing road paving in my subdivision at Harvest…read moreMill. On August 15 my street in my subdivision was up for re-paving. I had court that day, so I had to leave my house to attend court. You would think they would work on one side of the road and then the next. Well, no, not Pittman Construction. The cost me four new tires of a total cost $1381.96. I had to get my car towed to a maintenance shop to get my tires replaced. I received my car back on the 18th. I reached out to my city road maintenance (On August 18,2022) regarding the issue (with receipt) which they forward my complaint to the actual company which is Pittman Construction. A guy by the name of Jonas Jones stops by my house on August 24,2022 to apologize about the situation and gave me an incident report paper to file out, which I did and email it back to him with receipt of tires purchase and video footage of car getting tow. He stated he will send it over to his insurance company. Keep in mind that my receipt stated why all four tires must be replaced (tar stuck on tires). Received a phone call from Jeffrey White, an agent from Farmers Insurance regarding the incident. Tell him exactly what happened. Weeks later I didn't hear anything from Jeffrey or Jonas. I sent Jonas an email regarding an update. He told me to contact Jeffrey from Farmers Insurance, which I did. Jeffrey told me they denied my claim because I claimed over 10 days after the incident happened. What irritates me with this entire situation is don't lie in my face as if I am a fool. The complaint happened 3 days after the incident. When Jonas stops at my house, he sees how horrible my drive was from all the tar. They were still working on the road. Not to mention the numerous neighbors who complained amongst each other about the way Pittman workers work as if this was their first time doing the Job. I hope people will think twice before using this company because they will damage your property. Here are some complaints of my neighbors. One stated her tires mess up but they refuse to take accountability.

We needed an old, brick retaining wall to be rebuilt as it was starting to fall apart. I learned…read morethat drainage holes were never installed and thus it was finally at a point of failing. Eric was recommended by neighbors who had successful work done my him and his crew. Eric is professional, punctual and consistent. The work and clean up was exceptional. They rebuilt the wall and put the proper netting, drainage and bricks in place. My plants were protected as well. I need repainting but I am attaching some proof of great work. We also needed some brick repair on a front yard wall and that was handled nicely as well.

After several years, I got up the nerve to look up contractors who were willing to finish it for us. I'm so thankful to have found Eric and his company, Salazar Masonry Service. Eric was very responsive from the get go. He was thorough in explaining the process and what was needed to complete the job...and then some! Eric's communication was awesome from the first time I reached out. He was professional, friendly, and professional. He let me know the morning of when he was on his way and progress getting here (his commute was 90 minutes away). I got a quote for material and he offered to call and get a better price and then I called in to pay for it. What a kind gesture! He and his crew were timely and efficient. Eric explained the process and showed us what he was going to do. When he ran out of material, he got more and when he charged us for the material and trip, he didn't price gouge. He showed us the receipt for the additional materials and that is what we paid. We couldn't be more happy with job and Eric's professionalism. He is an artist in his craft and what contractors should be: honest! The retaining wall looks amazing and we're thankful that the 5 year chapter of the wall is closed! Pictures to follow!
