Zero stars. Do not use this business. Garrett Olsen upended my life when he convinced me to…read more"upgrade" my UHC plan. He personally promised that all of my current providers were going to continue to be covered. I'm on disability, I have a lot of health issues and have a lot of appointments. Since the "upgrade", not a single one of my providers have been paid and it turns out none of them are covered. After asking Garrett for help to go back to my old plan, he told me to "call the number on the back of your insurance card" which sent me to UHC general help line. They told me I was going to have to get into contact with the state to go back to my old plan. I have relied on my insurance and my providers to literally stay alive, and now that is all up in the air. I am incredibly disappointed, I trusted Garrett and he really took advantage of that so he could make a sale. I will be reporting this to Medicare and the BBB.

No one in the office could direct me as to what specifically needed to be done. There are a lot of other insurance options. Hopefully this agency's business practices will put them out of business. I recommend avoiding this office unless you also want to find out the hard way like I did about their poor customer "service".

I had to look up insurance companies that insure very specific things the other day. Found a…read morecompany, went to their website to find an agent near me. After calling three numbers, this was the first to answer the phone. So I thought I had a winner. Boy was I wrong. I gave an employee (I forget her name, but it was a woman) all the info necessary. She said she'd get back to me that same day, or at the latest, the following day. Three days later, I had to call her. This made it pretty obvious the company didn't want my business or my money. She said she "couldn't find a market" for what I needed. Okay, what does that actually mean? "It means there is no market," according to her. This explained literally nothing. I legit had to use Google to figure out what that meant in plain English and how to proceed from there, because she clearly wasn't interested in helping me. I then called the insurance company directly, and thirty minutes later, had a policy effective that same day. So clearly this agency didn't work very hard to "find a market" for me. Funny how I could find one with one singular phone call, but someone with access to all companies out there couldn't find anything. Which is sad. I tried to help support local by going through an agent, but it just didn't work. Customer service and insurance agents working for you are a dying breed, and clearly that concept really is dead here. Would I return here? Absolutely not. In fact, if I need insurance companies again in the future, I'm returning to this review just to make sure I don't waste my time with this agent ever again. It's disgusting when companies make it hard to support local.
