Our server was great! The girl that we asked if we could have a booth was not very nice and rolled her eyes at us and then rolled her eyes some more when she told her co worker we wanted a booth. Not a fan lol. Also, the beer we wanted on tap was apparently having problems pouring so I had to settle for something else when the problem is easily fixable. They weren't even busy. We were 1 of 3 tables in there at the time. Food's great! Customer service could be improved.

I met a dozen or so friends and enjoyed the game with lots of laughs cheers (and some jeers), delicious food and fabulous beverages. I had the ceviche which was white wine-based vs tomato-based. We had many servers (it was PACKED due to the game) and they did a Class A job navigating through the crowd. Two thumbs up...be sure to give this neighborhood gem a whirl!

So…read moreapart from this hiccup we looked over the rest of the menu and selected an appetizer and entree. Did you see the onion cup craze with the soup dumplings? If not, let me fill you in. Silly ole me asked if onion cups could be provided and the resturant obliged, thank-you! Now for the taste test. The shrimp and pork dumplings were well packed with the protein. They dressed it well in sauces too! As I placed my dumpling in the onion cup i can say the sharpness of the onion meshed well. The crunch also brought another level texture to a soft dumpling. Now this is usually done with soup dumplings but when I say its a trend it ended diverting from the original post. Regardless, the restaurantet let me be silly and I appreciated it! As for our pizza, not to sound like im a pizza critic but this was a good one. The slice held well the toppings were fresh, especially the basil! It was thin and airy. They do not have a brick oven in case you were wondering. It didn't matter to me. I enjoyed my pizza! The cocktails were spot on in liquor and flavor balance. Thank you once again for being a great start to my vacation!

I got the Korean bbq bowl and my husband got the seared chicken, both were soooo good!

My son sat at another table with his teammates and ordered the pizza. He loved it and ate the whole thing! Crazy but after a couple water polo matches I am not too shocked. Parking here was a pain but they offer valet, at least on Sundays, to help. The lady's working were very helpful in finding our large party seating.

Don't ask someone what they want if you can't make it happen. She took the appetizer away. She asked if we wanted a manager. We said yes and had to ask twice for him. He finally shows up and tries to explain the kitchen was behind but didn't resolve our concern or what happened. He showed up annoyed and DISMISSIVE. We did show up maybe 1.5ish hours before the game and the whole place was packed, but I didn't mind sticking around even in the heat because they have a very nicely shaded outdoor patio area. This is a great spot to watch any of the FIFA games-- also came back here for the Norway game yesterday and had just as good of a time like the last. They have TVs everywhere inside (both floors) and a huge TV outside as well. The restrooms are clean. They have a lot so that helps especially when it's there's a lot of people-- hate going to places with ONE bathroom. A bunch of seating too- lots of high tops upstairs/downstairs, bunch of tables outside & they have a lot of extra chairs. Service is great. Everyone always checks in to ask how everything's going and drinks/ food don't take too long to come out. I do LOVE their flatbreads. I've tried several flatbreads and they are all super tasty and not too expensive. I did appreciate that when Mexico scored during that first game, the servers brought out a bunch of shots free for everyone to celebrate! I thought that was a nice touch since other bars I have been to in the area are not as thoughtful or organized enough to host a lot of people during the World Cup! Sweet touch. Will obviously be back!

Visited Hendys on Henderson with some friends for happy hour recently and we had a great time with delicious food, good drinks, and great atmosphere. Firstly for appetizers/small plates, we ordered the burrata (this dish seems to be seasonal with the menu alternating between different fruit accompanying the burrata every few months or so; during our visit, it was paired with apple). We also tried the pretzel calamari (I was very curious what about this made it pretzel inspired as I've never seen this combo before but we discovered it was cooked in a pretzel coating, and it was definitely worth trying) and the Hendys Tendys (served with Texas toast and fries). For drinks if you like spicy and savory, you can't beat the spicy pickle margarita which has tequila, orange liqueur, muddled jalapeño, pickle juice, lime, agave syrup and garnished with gherkins (small pickled cucumbers similar to cornichons) and a Thai chili. Don't worry about it being too spicy as it's a perfect blend of tangy with a slight kick. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other drinks and main menu items.
