Once I got to best buy, I walked back to the TVs and was approached by a salesman. Told him exactly what I wanted. Showed him on my phone. He then proceeded to try and talk me out of my choice. Implied it was a brand that wouldn't last. I told him I had one that I paid twice as much for 13 years ago, and it was still going strong, it was going to the bedroom and I wanted a bigger one for the living room. He walked away and said someone would bring out my TV. And I felt...judged. I'm not a gamer. I don't care about your specs. I know what I want and I told you from the beginning. A young man comes hauling out my television and walks it to the front, while another sales associate comments about my television being old technology. Shut up already! Just sell me my damn TV! I do not see the value in spending 1000 more dollars on a television. TVs are the only thing in this world that have gotten lighter and cheaper. This kid then tried to hard sell me on a warranty. Get outta here with that. I didn't appreciate my "service" at best buy. However, I got a fantastic TV on sale. It is great. It is a Google TV that made friends with my Google phone, and I didn't even have to log into any of my apps. It didn't on its own! Dang if it isn't the best TV I have ever had and I am so happy with it. Next time I am just going to do curbside pickup and avoid all these men talking down to me.

The 16K fridge arrived damaged and rather than just immediately making it right they put it off on a repair company to come out for a product that was purchased NEW (no way it was new). Long story longer, the company who they chose to deliver our fridge had zero business going so and was outsourced via Starpower-(probably to line their pockets). No one helped us and ultimately we were given the run around and they could have cared less about what they sold us. I 100% believe they are selling products known to be damaged/used returns which is why our fridge arrives in the shape it did and by the wrong company. I know because when we got it sorted out with the manufacturer, they sent the only company (per their words) who is allowed by them to install. The replacement also arrives fully wrapped, boxed, etc. the way you'd expect. Had we not gone to bat and put our own efforts into this, Ed Kellum and StarPower would have happily left us in a mountain of turmoil. Extremely Disappointing Customer Service and Lack of Communication…read more It's now been 12 days since a replacement part was ordered for my phone, despite being told it would take only 2-3 business days. After waiting a week with no updates, I called on Wednesday and was assured the part was shipping and that I should be able to get my phone repaired over the weekend. Monday afternoon rolled around, and still no update. I called again and spoke with Darin, who informed me they had contacted another store to have the part shipped and that it "should" arrive any day. When I asked why it was taking so long, his response was, "I don't know, I just work here." He was also kind enough to point out that my phone is an older model, suggesting that might explain the delay. I completely understand that parts for older phones may take longer to obtain. What I don't understand is why I've been given three different timelines, none of which have been met, with absolutely no proactive communication. The delay itself is frustrating, but the dismissive attitude, lack of accountability, and complete disregard for customer service are unacceptable. A simple, honest explanation and a little professionalism would have gone a long way. Instead, I've been left chasing updates and dealing with an employee who seemingly couldn't care less. Extremely unprofessional, discourteous, classless, and disappointing.
