We ordered pick up, so my review is for the food only. Item #1: Hawaiian burger with no pickles. Paid an extra $1 for a side salad with soy ginger dressing. The burger was good, although it came with pickles. No dressing was provided for the salad, and we weren't going to go all the way back for it. Item #2: shrimp cocktail. Decent, no complaints other than wanting more shrimp. But that's with every restaurant. Item #3: cheese pizza. The kid quite enjoyed it. Item #4: mozzarella sticks. Slightly undercooked. A little time in the oven should fix that. Item #5: chicken tender basket. Seemed like more batter than chicken. No ketchup/sauce was provided. Overall, a disappointing dinner. read more

The best restaurant in Tahoe. We were here on vacation and out resort told us about Casey's so we stopped in on a winter morning. I ordered the casey's special and my husband ordered the pancakes. Omg, those pancakes were so good so yummy. I would order them again the eggs were nice and fluffy and the bacon was just right. The hashbrowns were crunchy and I ate everything on my plate which never happens. I believe her name is Cindy that took our order, she was great, very friendly, very nice. Great little place away from the downtown craziness. This place seems to have it all...sandwiches, burgers, salads, pizza, Mexican food. Normally, I'm pretty skeptical about places that "have it all". But I saw locals ordering all different things, so they must be doing it all well. The hubs and I ordered burgers. My husband is impossible to please when it comes to food. I always call him a food snob because nothing is ever REALLY good to him (except his mama's cooking. ;). ). OMG!! The omelet's are HUGH! Big enough to share, at a great price. Visiting for the week, staying at Worldmark across the street. Tried this place for breakfast and it was great. I found this on yelp and decided to give it a try. No lake view and in a shopping center next to Safeway. Patio dinning, but mostly looking at cars parked in the parking lot. Inside is very nice and new. Fresh flowers at all the tables and linen napkins. Very clean. Very nice waitress too. Food was great and prices were good too. I had carne asada monster burrito and it was big. They heat the plates, so my food stayed hot the whole time. Rice and beans where awesome and fresh tortilla chips with melted cheese. My partner had a club sandwich and it was also very big and delicious. Great menu with MANY options. Shakes, Mexican food, burgers, sandwiches, and many more comfort food selections. For the two of us with 2 sodas, 2 meals, and appetizer was 35.00. That's a deal as many restaurants near the lake are expensive. I hope you give it a try as we sure enjoyed it. read more

- one star- I'm a local and have gone to Casey's three times. the first time was a year ago. I had the fish tacos and it was pretty good. the second time was 6 months ago and I was really wanting/needing some comfort food-so I went to Casey's anticipating enjoying something that I don't usually treat myself to a burger and fries. Tasted terrible! the burger tasted like cleaning solution that they probably use on the grill and all 10 fries were soggy and tasteless! you would think that I would have learned my lesson but no! last week I went back to Casey's and order my usual favorite the fish tacos, yuk the fish was good I will admit but the cabbage they put on the tacos was soaking wet with water from the food strainer and total ruined everything on the plate! wet soggy food and the black beans were cold! My boyfriend and I were on the way to Tahoe, pulled over to the Safeway, but their deli selections were not decent at all. So we walked down the way to a restaurant named Casey's, what caught my attention was all the cute dog images on the menu, it took me a while to decide was to order because everything sounded good! I went with the fajitas which was a big skillet of steak and grilled veggies, and the other plate had chips, beans, rice, sour cream etc. My boyfriend ordered the western burger with fries...it was soo good, I don't know which bbq sauce was used but man we got some extra to go. We were greeted immediately when we entered by the way, AND the owner came over to our table to greet us which was wonderful because that has never happened before. He was a giant's and niners fan, he had some seats from candlestick park which was awesome to see! Overall great experience, I hope his business the best of luck. So finally got into Casey's since they have change it from Coyotes. Ordered the Nachos and Thai Lettuce Wraps. The Wraps where great and the Nachos where not as good as there old Nachos. They swamp them with red sauce,and the middle was cold. Need more chez! Service was great but they don't carry hardly and beers in bottle anymore. I also was seeing some great looking burgers and pizza come out of the kitchen, next time going to get a burger. Heard they are going to do some remodeling soon. My wife and I have been to Casey's many times, remember breakfast end sharply at 11am. In this trip about lunchtime we had the 1/2 lb. ranch burger and I ordered the chicken enchiladas. The burg was large and cooked to order. My wife ordered the tater tots which were perfectly crispy and a nice option to the standard fries. She rated the burg 4 stars. My enchiladas were delicious with the standard sides of rice and beans, a dollop of sour cream and guac accompanied the order.. We like the atmosphere, the friendly people who eat there, the variety of options, including excellent pizza, and their hearty breakfasts are sometimes too large to finish. Rudest customer service. They do not serve family larger than 6 so parents with more than 2-3 kids stay away. As soon as we arrive myself 40 yr old woman and my niece 11, hadn't put on our mask. The rest of our 6 party family had their mask on. A woman with black hair comes out and yells that she wouldn't serve us until us two put on our mask. We obliged and she continues asking if we wanted to eat there or... i quickly answered we'd take the open table. We sat. My husband comes walking in (7th person) with his service dog looking for a seat. He starts to look around for an extra chair when a blonde woman and the black haired woman run out yelling "we don't move chairs here" we froze... she continues yelling "we don't serve a party larger than 6" by this time we'd had enough of the yelling, insulting, and humiliation. We said okay let's go, she responds " that's fine" waving us away and walks away. While everyone stared my husband and sister in law began to curse and express their disdain for the treatment and manner these waitresses treated us. HORRIBLE. This was me and my husbands second time eating at Caseys this year and really enjoyed it! Very busy place and the waitress was so busy but still very good. We always have the ahi tuna salad, it is sooo delicious! Highly recommend it. We visit Tahoe at least 6 times a year, and will be coming back to Caseys for lunch again! read more

We went to casey's because we had a gift certificate we were greeted properly and we asked if we could sit outside they were ok with this and I he waitress brought us menus and then we were totally forgotten waited about 20 min then my mom went in and waited about 3 min to be acknowledged she let them know we were ready to order and then we waited another 5 min for someone to take our order I made a comment that we were looking at another place to eat since we had been left waiting for almost a half hr and his reply was ok then I realized he just didn't care and said so and he just shrugged so I asked my family if we could leave we all agreed and his response was another shrug so I'll never go or recommend this place horrible staff whoever worked on may 28th young guy needs to either be better trained of let go u don't treat ppl this way he just didn't give a crap if we stayed or left bad costumer service if I could I'd give this place a 0 I would I'd like to talk to the manager or owner about this guy and his staff read more

We called in an order for pick up and was told it would be ready in 15min. Took us about 10min to get there and when we walked in our order was being bagged-perfect timing. I'm a burger lover so I ordered he basic burger and onion rings with a milkshake special. It was very good. Burger was thick, flavorful, and not overcooked. Onion rings were fresh, battered just right and fried to perfection. Milkshake was rather thin and only ok. My wife had the steak nachos. Also very good. Please let me begin being dingy is not always acceptable. The price wasn't to bad, the food was okay. Make sure you specify you like your burgers cooked, and the fish and chips should come on a plate. As my daughter says,"that need hearing aides" if you are in a hurry do not go here. Evidently if you look like you have been here before the service is off. We over heard a women complaining that every time she comes in it gets worse and worse. Cindy says I had been there before I have a twin is the reason I didn't get the great intro to the menu. Cindy tried to be nice.
