This is not a substitute for your local Starbucks. Serves coffee and ok pre-prepared pastries. Nice breakfast break for the kids staying in the grounds tired of my cereal. Cute mugs and t-shirts if you have emotional ties to Zephyr.

Well, when we looked up good local eateries, Heidi's popped up as one of the top places to go. Their slogan is, "The Best Breakfast You'll Ever Have." Well, far from it....more like the WORST! Heck, even my 9 year old thought it sucked! I saw the country fried steak on the menu, so I thought I would get that. BUT, when I asked if it was fresh or frozen, the server told me that it was frozen. They charge $25.99 for a frozen piece of crap, so that was a hard no for me! Well, my son got the waffle, and he asked for strawberries. He asked is there was a way to maybe add some chocolate chips if there was no charge. The server said yes, but when his plate came, there was only 1 strawberry on the plate, and a bowl full of cold chocolate chips. My son (who I have taught many different things about food) was highly disappointed in his cold hard waffle. I didn't eat, because most of the things I asked about were frozen. When the bill came, the server charged $2.99 for the chocolate chips, after he told us there was no extra charge. He was not very attentive throughout the meal, and argued with me over a couple of things, so....he got zero tip! I don't know how this place has survived since 1964. Maybe it was good at one point in time, but these days they sell overpriced frozen crap! I HIGHLY recommend that you stay away from this place, and go find somewhere else to eat.

Service when ordering sorta felt like the employee didn't want to help us. And super expensive for small bagels and coffee. The indoor seating and parking lot is nice. I personally will never be back here.

She took such great care of us and made sure we were fully satisfied with our orders and food. Everything she recommended was absolutely delicious. We loved it so much that we went 3 days in a row haha. If you care about good and clean ingredients and/or are sensitive to seed oils, check this place out. Their fried food is all fried in tallow. We order some old-fashioned from the bar and they were really tasty. I appreciate that they use a big cube of eyes instead of the regular ice machine. Our server was really nice and she even brought my husband a chocolate treat for his birthday.
