If your even thinking of calling them i would back up and think again!! They got paid over 800 to move a table, few chairs, coffee table, mattress, and have smoke breaks! We were quoted to move a fridge along with all of our other stuff, have a confirmation that they received it from MATT at Casey's Movers then were told the day of they couldn't do it because it wasn't on the paper. He FORGOT to add it after he told me it was all set. The right thing to do would be to correct your error and honor your word but that was not an option. After asking multiple times we were then told they could get it sometime next week maybe. Next week? All of the stuff needed to be out of the apartment that DAY!! The guys seemed nice enough until they decided they were too lazy to move the rest of the furniture up the stairs at the new place. They called me and said the stuff wasn't fitting up the stairs at 1:30 and needed the stuff off of the truck by 3pm. I told them if it absolutely wasn't fitting they could leave it in the landing on the 2nd floor of the new apartment. Instead they left it all outside on the front lawn in the rain, covered with a thin moving blanket and left!!!! What a disgrace i am lost for words. Ended up having to hire additional movers to finish the job since i was unable to lift these things and they had it all done in less than an hour with NO issues at all. Run while you can these people are a joke and scam artists!!!!!!!! Check out the photos i added

Very very disappointed in their service. I wish we could give them zero stars (or less!!) The movers were very excited upon arriving to find just how little furniture we had (no couches, no large chairs, no kitchen or dining room tables or chairs, no living room furniture, etc...). The truck was more than half empty. They commented on how they had expected to move much more stuff. Yet, they somehow managed to take far longer than estimated both loading and unloading. They also somehow added over an hour of driving time to the 2 hour and 45 minute trip, making it somewhere around 4 instead. There was no heavy traffic, and we remain confused as to where they went that day. To make matters worse; they caused damage all over our property! Thank goodness they were only moving our things into a storage unit for us, so they weren't able to damage our new home too! Although, they did drop several boxes during the unload, and also left some furniture out and exposed to the rain - these things will likely need to be discarded now. Their truck hit a tree at the entrance to our driveway, causing massive visible damage at the very front of our property. They failed to follow our explicit instructions as to how to move the refrigerator, and thus seriously scratched our wood floors. (Even though we warned them to be cautious of this..) They also put dents and scratches into our front door; kitchen cabinets, and dining room trim. (Pictures of all of this will be attached to this review.) In the end, they are now trying to charge us an additional $600 above the estimate. If things took longer than expected; it is only due to their own ineptitude. It is OUTRAGEOUS to charge extra after all the damage and slow moving; they should be issuing us refunds! I have submitted all of this to them, and they don't call back. Only an email claiming that they will respond via mail. When I pointed out that they do not have an accurate mailing address for us, there was nothing but silence in return. We continue to wait for an adequate response to these issues! STAY AWAY FROM CASEY MOVERS!!! UPDATE: We were promised a refund 5 months ago, and still have not received it. Today, Matt tried to claim that we had never even contacted him. I have emails from Matt dated in early June promising that we would revive an adequate resolution. The movers were smoking pot as they threw boxes labeled as "fragile" into our storage unit, and then furniture and mattresses on top of those items. When you try to resolve issues, no one is ever available to talk to. They never return calls as promised, and just try to steal your money, hoping that you'll eventually give up and go away. Truly truly despicable people. Matt has outright refused to even provide his direct email address, or number; and refuses to name his supervisors, despite claiming to be just an employee. (He's a manager..) My mother even drove 2 hours just to return the tools that their stoned workers had forgotten and left behind. Yet, this man doesn't even have the decency to respond to her complaints. Disgusting behaviors for any person or company. Don't know how these people even sleep at night.

Wow, I wished I had these reviews. I hate to do this to a local business but I have to warn folks about Casey Movers. During a recent move and storage, not only did they destroy a very nice chair, they lost two major pieces of furniture. I mean LOST as in no idea where a large table and hutch went between the old house, storage and the new house. And it took them two weeks to find this chair, which had been destroyed and tossed aside without telling us. They were dismissive, effectively blamed us and offered us the contractual and statutory minimum of $.60 a lb for our 'loss.' I should have paid attention to the reviews...don't make the same mistake.

#caseymovers After a failed "full pack," Casey's "professional packers" left us with truck loads of stuff to pack before our buyers came to the house for their final real estate walk through. We were thoroughly embarrassed as we packed the last of our household into our own cars in the pouring rain, while the 18-wheeler LEFT US without taking everything. On move in day, the movers showed up hours and hours LATE. After arriving, the mover team leader informed us that they "did not feel like" unloading the truck" and were going to go home for the night. WE WAITED ALL DAY LONG IN AN EMPTY HOUSE AND GOT BABYSITTERS TO UNLOAD THIS TRUCK. They did not "feel like" emptying the truck and wanted to sleep. The smell of vanilla cigars OVERWHELMED ME and I was disgusted at the men sleeping in my street in the van. We asked that if they were going to LEAVE, please unhook the trailer in front of the property. They attempted to turn around the 53 foot truck in our brand-new cul-de-sac and GOT IT STUCK. Then, after un-sticking it, they TIPPED IT OVER! (See photos.) The driver BROKE the brakes! Dragged it over boulders! What on earth! After two giant truck winches and tows, they left our household belongings in the street overnight and unpacked the next day. What a way to meet our new neighbors. Glad that some are lawyers, right? The final bill for $$$$. $$ plus MORE than anticipated arrived today, and they want to confirm and release us with our payment in full, you know, because their tow-costs are near to the costs of our move. Please. I've documented all of this on social media. I didn't realize how bad it was until it was already happening. After unpacking, realized that MANY of our belongings were broken, including the couch, and king size bed. Is this because they just wanted to rush the job?! Many of the workers tried to sweet talk me personally, as a woman, and I get the feeling they work for cash tips? They kept repeating how they "felt bad for my situation, and it wasn't their fault," because "they are pressured to work fast" and how many of them "are just day workers." Great. MOVE WITH ANOTHER COMPANY. Update - this is now with the BBB, and my social media is being captured and shared with the BBB. Casey feels this is extortion. Please. WE ALREADY PAID YOU. STOP TRYING TO TELL US TO SHUT UP.

Many people have inquired if the company reimbursed me and the answer is "NO." They never called to apologize and didn't return calls after I left numerous messages. It was the worse experiences ever; please don't use their services. They never wrapped my furniture, banged and stretched my furniture going upstairs, bedroom frame was cracked and broken, the list goes on, see photos.

The price was good and the movers were quick and efficient. They were friendly. However, I paid a deposit with a credit card and told the person who I paid initially that I would pay the balance that way. He did not say that would be a problem. However, on the date of the move, that man did not come to the site. Different people came and said they did not accept that card and I should pay cash. He also proceeded to tell me that each of the 4 movers expected a $200 tip. They only worked for 2 hours. I asked for a receipt for the cash that he insisted on and he would not give me one. I called Matt at the movers to discuss this and he put it back on me and said "it was all in our confirmation email." He just kept putting back on me. However, these movers the company sent out are representatives of Casey Movers and speak for the company, I should not have to find the email and fight with them over this stuff. read more

"Our own tractor trailor setups and driver. We do not broker. We do not subcontract". LIARS!! I was assured by Matt (our "salesperson") that Casey Movers used their own crew and trucks, including tractor trailers for inyterstate moves. Clearly not true in our case. The subcontracted with some unknown tractor trailer owner to move our goods and he stopped somewhere in Georgia to pick up his own crew who showed up in a separate vehicle along with the trailer. WEIRDEST moving experience I have had and WOULD NOT recommend them for any interstate moves. The front end of the move was ok. Nice guys arrived with a Casey Mover's truck. They were at least 1 1/2 hours late, but we dealt with it. They were great on moving our stuff onto the truck and were very good about communicating and very professional. It did get a bit sketchy when they indicated that they were paid only through tips and tried to get tips of about $1,300 total! There was NO WAY that was going to happen, but we tipped them well at the end and everyone parted ways happy. That was the LAST good part of the move. Frst, the company really needs to retrain Matt. He is rude (except before he hooks you with a contract and you sign on the dotted line). He is very snarky when looking for updates and information on moving policies and procedures and my last text from him (when NO ONE from the company been in touch with me by the DAY BEFORE our items were to arrive in Florida. He said something to the effect of "your stuff is on the truck, the driver is on the way and it's his responsibility now". BS!! We paid you over $12,600 for an interstate move. It is Casey Movers' obligation to get the job done and to make sure things happen as they should. No matter what Matt says!! The crew that arrived at our Florida home were ok, but clearly our items were NOT carefully packed on the moving van. I had labeled fragile and heavy items carefully, and the boxes came in a habnash fashion with very heavy boxes piled on top of fragile items. What a bunch of morons! I am making my way through boxes to determine if there is any damage. In addition, the crew reassembled some items, but not others and left packing materials that THEY used when shipping for us to dispose of. Unbelievable! My husband spoke with Matt because I was so distressed after the delivery about all of the issues, and there were no apologies or comments about our concerns but excuses and dismissal. Just snark and demeaning comments about our move and incorrect information about what the movers were supposed to do for setup and cleanup. Again, Matt desperately needs retraining and other comments on here back that up. I believe that all interstate movers need to be MORE heavily regulated and brought up short when they do not follow through and charge clients for substandard service. NOT holding my breath. But be forwarned with this outfit. Unfortunately, I have had poor experiences with other interstate movers, so its a risk either way. But these folks charged me $3,500 more than the other quote we received. Forewarned is forearmed folks!! read more

I would not recommend Move out of the house was great. Move back in - what a different story!! Matt at the office is really and truly the rudest person I have ever spoken with. I had signed a contract for 6 movers and 3 trucks on the move back in I had 3 guys and 2 trucks and then the third one had broken down so they had to move everything to a new truck and bring it. Broken TV, broken basement door - totally broke the hinges so a new door is needed. I should have looked better at the reviews - the sales guy and the move out crew were polar opposites of the move in crew. Sounds like others have had the same issues. Held me up for $3375 extra to change the day by one day!! read more

Agreed price for move across town 3 truck 6 guys $4500. Day of move showed up with 2 trucks and 5 guys but one was barely working. They loaded 2 trucks and with 3/4 of our contents and demanded another $4500 to "finish the move and deliver our belongings ". Never applied our deposit. So a move that should have cost 4500 cost us 9500! And they didn't finish it! Promised to go back for a third truck and left items in our driveway and home we sold. Messed up our walk through and closing. Coat us another $1500 to love the rear of our stuff out and a 5k hold back was placed. So much stress. And during the move there was damage to our property and belongings. We are taking them to court. They literally held our items and us hostage and extorted money from us to finish the move then didn't finish it. So disgraceful. Consumer beware. Also we were told after the fact they manipulate data for better reviews and this is their MO! awful. AG office BBB and state authorities have been made aware. read more

This company is NOT GOOD! Within the first ten minutes I was pulled aside and cornered by one of the guys and was told I had to tip 25% and it had to be cash. It was intimidating and uncomfortable. He even went on to say it should be at least $200 per mover. I explained this was a move for a non-profit organization and I had to put the gratuity on a credit card to show proof where the funds were spent. He suggested I take the money out of my own account and pay the $800. They did move everything, but they did not listen and put items wherever they wanted, and they did not rebuild the furniture they took apart. The guy then called me a few hours later and said the job was bigger than he expected and I should increase the cash tip amount. I reminded him I explained exactly what we needed for the move when I booked them, and the scheduler said an all-day price would cover what we needed, and that is what we paid for. He took back what he said, and then they milked their time to be able to charge overtime, which is such a HEFTY fee. We explained we needed to be done by a certain time, they said no problem then "got lost" for an hour and 45 minutes when the sites were only 15 minutes apart. And just in case you are wondering that was not their break. We had fed them earlier and they did take their much-needed break. He asked one more time for the cash tip and it was explained again that this was a company and we would need to put it on a credit card, he stated he told me early in the morning so I could have figured it out. We are not a company that has any cash on hand, if tip was cash only this should have been told to us when booking so we could have discussed this already. LASTLY, we called the company to explain about their poor behavior and being lost, and they could care less, they were actually dismissive and acted like they receive these complaints often. These are the type of companies that take advantage of others, and it was a horrible experience. We will never use them again and just thought others should know what to expect. read more

Yet another update on the infamous Casey Mover's out of Rockland or Hanover Mass depending on where they are hiding out these days. Still never a response (of course) let alone an apology for their unprofessional behavior and lack of customer service. This weekend before the rains, I went to our shed to get the rakes and of course there are none. Seems like either they were too lazy to bring them off the truck or decided my gardening equipment was something else they needed besides the hostage money. I can only strongly advise anyone who needs a professional mover to avoid them and simply choose anyone else. Unless you are of course a masochist and love drama. Plenty to be found with these deadbeats! read more

Movers in both places were very nice. However, six months later we are still realizing that small items are missing. We don't have a lot of storage, so there are only 2 place we put things that need to be stored, as things come up that we need, we are realizing that we are definitely missing small items. Their insurance is not good, so it's not even enough to file a claim for. I would definitely not recommend them. read more

My husband and I needed moving services and contacted Casey Movers. We could not have picked a better moving company. Our team consisted of Ryan, Tim, Dan D. and Frank. From the moment of their arrival they were professional, efficient and demonstrated excellence within the business. Our furniture was wrapped carefully for protection. When we explained how we needed our belongings stored, they listened attentively and completed the task exactly as we asked. We will require this type of service again and plan on reaching back out to Casey Movers. Neil and Christine read more

Terrible all around. Customer Service was awful. The crew was unprofessional, smoking, leaving cigarettes in my yard. Left inthe middle of the move to get lunch (they were late arriving, the truck broke down) Our mattress was ON THE FLOOR of the truck with no padding. Furniture was scratched, walls scrapped. They broke our front door tried to fix but when he couldn't he walked back to the truck and drove away without any explanation. They were late, couldn't fit all my items in the truck so had to repack it. When I called the office, it got the run around. Said it was a busy weekend, sorry I wasn't happy. We filed a claim for the damaged goods. They gave us $100, nothing in comparison to the stress, poor service and overall terrible experience we had. read more

All I can say about Casey Movers is don't believe everything you read about them here on Yelp. In my own experience this past week, they were absolutely perfect in every way. They showed up on time to move my entire house into a 20' portable container on property. They carefully stacked the container high and tight and managed to fit about 99% of my family's belongings into the container (I was pretty sure the container wouldn't fit everything, but they worked their magic and made nearly everything fit inside). When I thanked them for getting everything to fit and saving me a lot of stress in the process, their response was "no problem, it's our job to make your life easier." The crew was VERY careful - all of the furniture was wrapped and padded before moving - couches, bookcases, bureaus, desks, even a laser printer. They showed up early on the unpack date a few days later at the new house and carefully unloaded everything from the storage container in record time. This included rebuilding furniture that was taken apart, removing wrapping from furniture, and carefully stacking boxes in each of the rooms. None of my family's belongings were damaged in the move - our large sofa was unpacked and was completely unscathed, we had no broken plates, glasses, or mugs, and our 65" LED TV still works perfectly. Did I mention they also downgraded my unpacking crew from a 3 person to a 2 person to save me some money - without me asking - because their own crew mentioned on the pack date that they thought 2 people would be more than enough to unpack? While I certainly can't say the experience I had will be exactly the same for everyone else - nothing they did at any point in time made me think that my belongings weren't being taken care of with the utmost of care at all times. None of the negative reviews here on Yelp line up with the experience I had this past week. I would gladly hire Casey again in the future. read more

I would like to preface this by saying any good review about Casey Movers are from personal friends, colleagues or relationships. Think about this dear reader: A moving company does not do stellar work for one person, and deplorable work for another. This was approximately the 5th time I hired a moving company. Other moves I did on my own with friends helping. In the 10 or so moves in my life, there was NEVER a broken object, and NEVER a missing item. I hired Casey movers for an interstate move with one stop along the way. The first thing red flag was a comment from the lead mover it was going to cost more than the agreed upon price. The second red flag was a suggestion I purchase extra insurance. After they packed their truck they left for the first stop. I locked up the house and followed them, eventually passing the truck which was stopped at a Dunkin' Donuts. I waited almost an hour at the first stop. When they arrived, the lead mover told me he would need another $1000 or he could go any further. I felt I had no choice, and went to the back and got the money. When they arrived at my new place, they started moving things in, and actually slamming boxes marked fragile on other boxes, and I could hear glass breaking. They knocked my furniture into door jams, gouging the wood, and telling me, "Sorry, but I'm tired." The lead mover then told me it was too late, and they were too tired to finish the job, and they would return the next day. He assured me there would be no charge for keeping my belongings overnight. Again, I was stuck, and had to trust them, and agree to them completing the job the following day. When I called the next day, I was told there was an overnight fee for storage, as well as an additional fee for moving the remainder of my belongings. I finally hired another moving company who went to their cite and got the rest of my belongings and moved them in. In addition to the dishes and glassware broken by Casey Movers, many of my well wrapped pictures were shattered. Some items were shattered as if they were thrown on the ground. Every piece of my bedroom furniture moved by in by Casey Movers on the first night, was scratched as if it were done with a knife, and there were gouges in the wood. The 2 dowels on the back of my bedroom mirror were broken in half. There is no way that kind of damage could have been done in a move, and was clearly done with malicious intent. Yes - I took them to court, and I thought I could negotiate with them. Unfortunately when you go through small claims, you need to get estimates on the value of repairing the damages, and I did not do so. I felt it was better to just take the money they offered, and not go in front of a judge because, although I had pictures and broken items, I didn't feel I had the documentation to support the value of the items. There were items missing as well, which were taken from some of the boxes they did bring in on the first night, but again, I did not have receipts so I couldn't claim them. Please, DO NOT HIRE CASEY MOVERS. THEY ARE THE WORSE KIND OF THIEVES AROUND. THEY ARE PREDATORS. They prey on women. It doesn't matter who owns the company, a crook is a crook and without a conscience. I wish I had read the reviews before hiring them. AGAIN, DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE. READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS BECAUSE THESE ARE THE TRUTHS. DO NOT HIRE CASEY MOVERS!! read more

***DO NOT HIRE*** I would give zero stars, if available. I hired Casey Movers in May 2019. I signed up for self-pack service and moving furniture and boxes. They came out for an estimate and overbudgeted for time. The pickup crew spend an hour going over tipping practices in the industry and not the liability or coverage. My furniture was to be stored in their warehouse for a few days until the closing at the other property. The drop off crew left some items unpacked, was rude and unprofessional. One of the side tables was missing the glass piece on top, making it completely unusable. A couple of weeks after the move, after we opened all boxes, I informed customer service that I can't locate the glass piece. They game me the runaround advising me to check with place of origin, my new home etc. which I did with no successful outcome. At that point, realizing that I won't find be able to locate the glass, I contacted again requesting some form of compensation which they declined because I was a self-pack customer. MAKES NO SENSE! I did not self-pack furniture. They removed the glass from the side table and LOST it in transit. Liability lies with Casey Movers!!! Terrible customer service and unwillingness to rectify their mistakes. No accountability. ***DO NOT HIRE*** read more

Casey Movers: A case study in failure, deception, and abuse. Women beware. in September 2015, my family possessions were literally left in my yard and on an open deck exposed to seaside dew in the middle of the night by Casey Movers. I was forced to drag a mattress up a flight of stairs and into my home in order to have a place to sleep, and scrambled for two days to secure my possessions. Casey Movers simply abandoned the job and drove away while I was inside trying to put together a bed! After three days when they finally returned my call for help, they promised to help and then they NEVER CALLED BACK. Boxes were missing and damaged --and furniture was damaged by being left outside. When I filed a report with Casey Movers they ignored it. Despite the callous treatment and the damages suffered, I still offered to pay Casey Movers $900 more than the lowest estimate from competitors. I did not hear from Casey Movers for more than a month following the move --they made no attempt to help me or send an adjuster -- and then they sent me a demand for full payment. I refused and subsequently they sued me in a small claims court 1500 miles from my home for the full amount they claimed due. Casey Movers gambled correctly that I could not attend a court so far from my home -- I live alone, have two children in college whose father passed away two years ago, and I was starting a new career -- and my inability would enable them to eventually bully their way to a default judgement. Throughout the legal process thus far, Casey Movers has shielded a series of false and specious statements because in small claims court there is no right of discovery (i.e., no ability to force them to produce records, witnesses, etc.). Casey Movers used the court system to intimidate and they made a mockery of justice. Casey movers was never interested in helping a woman who trusted them, mitigating damages, or being reasonable, but rather profiting from their shoddy work. That was a mistake. More about Casey Movers' practices -- and false and specious claims -- are articulated at Consumer Investigation : Casey Movers https://www.facebook.com/CaseyMoversComplaints/ I would encourage homeowners and realtors fully investigate Casey Movers before making a decision about who to trust. Read more Consumer Investigation : Casey Movers https://www.facebook.com/CaseyMoversComplaints/ ***UPDATES** In comments responding to my review on Casey Movers' website a manager for Casey Movers -- whose responses appear prominently in reply to other Yelp reviews -- made disparaging and defamatory comments and then hid them from me so that I could not respond. This is how an honest business acts? I will update this review and post additional evidence after Casey Movers responds. read more

We used Casey Movers today for our move to our new home. Nick and Dave showed up for a huge job with only two people. They were both so friendly and accommodating. They worked extremely hard to get everything moved out of a 3rd floor apartment and into a home. We couldn't have had a better experience! Thank you both!! read more

If only I could add a photo I'd show you all the ridiculous, threatening letter I just received from Casey Movers. But since I can't I'll paraphrase for you......."Please be advised that if your review remains online after November 21, 2012, Casey Movers will be filing a libel suit against you in which you must travel to Hingham District Court in Hingham, MA, as a defendant." Casey Movers' audacity and naïveté is completely baffling. Maybe they don't have access to a dictionary, where it clearly states that libel Is "publishing a FALSE statement." And it's obvious to me that they don't know the first thing about customer service, or Internet marketing, for that matter. Because if they did they would've done the right thing in the first place and compensated my parents for the items they damaged. If I were them I would've bent over backwards to make sure that not only were my customers happy, but also that they were so happy with my service that they'd recommend me to all their friends back in New England. I wouldve even apologized for using subcontractors with no moving expertise. But no, that's not what happened. Instead, they did the complete opposite as you can see in my prior review. And now, they're using money that could've been used to compensate my parents, to sue me instead. They'll most definitely be spending more money to do that than what it would've cost them if they could've just done the right thing in the first place. Does this make sense to anyone??? And maybe a little homework should've been done prior to threatening me with a SLAPP lawsuit (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strategic_lawsuit_against_public_participation). It clearly states that many state anti-SLAPP laws (including MA) H.R. 4364 would allow the defendant of a SLAPP to have the suit quickly dismissed and to recover fees and costs. If you'd like a good read, check out the blog post my husband wrote about this experience: http://www.1918.com/casey-movers-threatens-lawsuit-over-bad-yelp-review/ read more

Casey Movers was worse than awful. If you only read this far DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. My daughter previously wrote this review for me since I didn't have my own Yelp account, but apparently Casey Movers was able to convince Yelp to remove her (actually My) review since she wasn't the actual client. It didn't seem to matter to Yelp that my daughter was present during both ends of our move and she was a witness to all the problems that occurred. Be that as it may, here is my original review: Found them in the Yellow Pages and before the move they were friendly and responsive. The move cost us $11,000. They promised every item would be bubble-wrapped and then covered with moving blankets... this turned out NOT to be the case at all. They also said they would reassemble anything they took apart (beds etc) but didn't. Once we were in our new house it took them almost 2 weeks to deliver our boxes to us! They hired 2 local people totally unknown to them from a manpower type of service to unload the truck. The 2 guys were terrible and damaged walls, furniture and woodwork in our brand new house. They broke and lost a large number of items including a ceramic egg grill, glassware, 2 boxes of dishes, my grandmothers hope chest and some woodworking tools. We owned (notice the past tense) a Big Green Egg (ceramic charcoal grill), which was extremely heavy as well as fragile. I specifically asked the movers if it was feasible to move this item without breaking it. Because if not I was going to leave it behind for the new owners of our old house. Well guess what arrived in pieces.......right....the Big Green Egg. Steve Casey (the owner) saw the damage and told us to just make a list and send it to him and he would take care of it. As you've probably guessed, the "taking care of it" part never happened. I've called 6 or 8 times and nobody is ever able to accept my call and they never return my calls. Finally I hear back that they will compensate me $0.60/pound for damage. WTF? How do you figure out how many pounds a hole in a wall is? How much does a hole in upholstery weigh? When I finally sent them a bill for about $750, they delayed and delayed about a month and many calls before sending me a check for $380. What?! There is no way I can say anything positive at all about my experience with Casey Movers. My only hope is to save someone else from making the same mistake I did. read more

I had recently used Casey movers on 5/13. My grandfather had just passed away and they helped me move his thing from his home in Brockton to Raynham. I had Tim, Kyle and Frank for the day and they were hard working. They had their estimator Dennis come out, great guy and the quote was on point. I will def. I would believe every negative comment made regarding this company. First Deidre had canceled one of my moves the day before I was scheduled because I called and ask questions. They reimbursed me back my deposit for the first move however have not reimbursed me back for the second and it has been a month of them telling me the check was mailed. I had spoken with the Ellen and Orion that both said it was mailed and that is Ryan not Orion read more

Buyer Beware! I sent the below email to the owner, Steve Casey, on 1/15 and gave him a little bit to acknowledge my feedback. I haven't heard a thing from him so sharing it here to hopefully benefit others looking into using this company: I recently used your company for a move/storage/move and wanted to provide some feedback. I, unfortunately, was not very happy with the experience. Two gentlemen, who were nice enough, came to move us out of our old home. They spent the first hour trying to position the truck. The house was not what I would consider to be a challenging set up. Parking it on the street, where the front walk leads, seemed to make the most sense and after an hour that is what they did. I then got charge for an extra hour of overage. The gentlemen were also upset about there only being two of them when it was "clearly a three person job". Someone from your company came out to give the quote and assess the move. They then arrived at it being a two person job. The customer should not have to hear all day about how there should be another person there. In signing the paperwork, I was also asked to complete a review of the service with the two movers standing right over my shoulder. This certainly is not the way to get an honest review so I think I understand why there are so many positive reviews. Our belongings were then going into storage for a little over two weeks. The way our belongings were returned to us was cause for concern on multiple levels. The level of professionalism from the gentlemen who delivered was sub-par, at best. Again, the complaining about there needing to be a third person. Again, not my fault or problem. When things were being put in the wrong places the feedback was colorful. For example, "'I'm not doing this fn move for a third time". The quality in which boxes, including those labled "fragile", were delivered was ridiculous. In addition, our furniture was damaged. This isn't Ikea furniture. The headboard has a chunk missing and scrapes all down the top of it as if it was dragged with no protection. The dining table and chairs have noticible scratches all over them. Two chunks out of the newly re-done walls was also not impressive. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I brought in multiple companies when we were looking to hire someone and felt the most comfortable with the service I initially received from Casey. I can't help to think what a mistake it was and how we would have been better off with someone else. read more

Movers worked extremely hard (thus not a zero rating and I tipped them), but were not careful. Salesman said the price would be the price but it wasn't, it was significantly hirer. Not much you can do about that on moving day. I pointed out what was being moved to salesman but movers refused to move about 10 boxes. The truck was undersized, head mover tried to get them to send another truck. Nope, they had to cram everything in. My gym bag was left on truck. They called me about it. My bad, I waited a few weeks to call back with all the transitions but no sign of it, nobody remembered it. Classic answer - file claim, even though they know they won't cover it after 15 days. Not impressed nor would I recommend them. read more

After showing up late and leaving early, they never delivered the power tools that they packed. The tools mysteriously vanished and never arrived at our new house. They also charged us $300 at time of deliver in addition to the agreed price. That's on top of the tip we gave them! They were unresponsive when I tried to contact them about the claim we filed and rude once I did get someone on the phone. Worst moving experience I've ever had and would recommend people stay away from Casey Movers at all costs. Update- We received no follow up from Casey Movers regarding our claim and after weeks of waiting have still not received ANY compensation for our missing items or over charges. Totally unprofessional and lacking of even basic customer service. read more

I got a response from the owner 11 months after the occurrence. Since I only had a whopping 8 pieces of furniture and 15 boxes, it wasn't hard to inventory. Plus, the things were in a 10x10 storage unit when I made reservations. Nothing like trying to blame the customer, but I see all the rotten reviews so I'm not the only one. Also, be sure to read the non suggested reviews for a wealth of similar rip offs. Interesting they're not considered important. read more

The worlds WORST!!!!! I would not call them to move my old trash. 3 hours late. I had to call them to find out where they were. Asked them Not to smoke in the house or swear near my children who were playing in the front yard. Both they decided to do just as they pleased. All my wife's bedroom boxes were sealed in yellow color coded tape. Only one genius decided to retape in brown after some of her jewelry leaped out of the box and landed in his pockets. I had to park In front of the truck had to offer him amnesty now. Or the police in 10 minutes. Apparently he did not want a parole violation. No they do not employee only their family members. A Couch a desk and one wall was damaged right in front of me, while moving furniture. If I did not have a same day deadline; so the new owners could move in, I would have fired them on the spot and hired another company. What a nightmare. read more

DO NOT USE CASEY MOVERS. THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED with your possessions. My move took up 3/4 of their truck. I knew they would place another person's possessions after mine, but was promised a locked bulkhead would be in place between the two household's items. That bulkhead could not have been in place when they loaded the other party's property on to the truck. The two groups of possessions were mixed and, in the process, I lost some very expensive items. On the day they unloaded the truck at my home, I had to go to the storage unit of the other party to identify some of my possessions. Not all of the items I lost were found and now Casey's is saying they never moved the items that were lost. In the meantime, I still have a couple of items that belong to the other party. I'd like to return them, but Casey's will not take them from me and will not give me the contact information of the other party. Also, because the bulkhead was not in place, after the other person's property was removed from the truck, there wasn't anything to hold my possessions in place. With every start and stop of the truck, my possessions were knocked around and damaged. I have hired moving companies for 7 major moves in the past. I'm used to having some items get damaged in the process. It just happens. But NEVER have I lost any of my possessions. NEVER has a company been this irresponsible with my property. And NEVER have I had this much damage. read more

PLEASE READ BEFORE HIRING THIS COMPANY....!I'm actually embarrassed that I hired this company without reading their reviews first. These people should be shut down. There's no option for ZERO stars! I signed a contract for two trucks and four men. Showed up 2 hours late with one truck and 5 men. Said there would be no 2nd truck but was "authorized" to do two trips! Well thank you very much! Long and short- as a result of only getting one truck they needed to make 2 trips to a location 40 minutes away. Took breaks, got lunch all on MY dime!!! Total move took over 13 hours and they charged me $1600 dollars over their "estimate!" When I called at first to complain about the ONE truck the woman who got on the phone actually asked me why I was "picking a fight with her!" Here's the deal - this is 100% my fault because I hired this company without reading reviews. I take responsibility for that. Anyone reading these now and still hires them is an absolute fool! I'm considering small claims but out of my shear embarrassment may let it slide. WORST EXPERIENCE I've had in a long time on an already stressful day. The owners of this "company" obviously couldn't care less as they must be reading these reviews about their company. It's almost as if it's their business model! Screw the customer because they know on moving day your hands are tied. Don't let it get that far. Don't even consider hiring Casey Moving PERIOD!!!!!! read more

WOULD RATE 0 STARS - COMPANY IS A COMPLETE SCAM!! PLEASE PLEASE I BEG OF YOU TO STAY AWAY. THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN! My Casey Movers journey for you: 1. "Estimator" Dennis came to my house to take inventory 2. Quoted my move $1,945.00. This was very low for a 4 bedroom 2300 square foot, but we called to confirm and make sure this number was accurate. 3. Worked my butt off with my husband to prepare for the move. All boxes were packed, labeled by room, stacked in the garage for quick access. All furniture that could be broken down was already broken down, again labeled by room, and moved as much to the garage as possible. Furniture that could not be dissembled or moved was still labeled. 4. 4 movers come to our house the day of the move. Immediately told us that the estimate we received seemed very low for our size home, but they'd work as fast as possible so overtime wouldn't be too much. 5. These 4 movers also never once looked at a box to see if it was clearly labeled as fragile, leaving a ton of my kitchen plates and beautiful China from my wedding to be broken. Boxes were flipped upside down, dropped on the bottom of the truck, and not once looked at to see what was in it. 6. My "7 hour move" took 14 HOURS to complete. Yes you read that right, it doubled. 7. To save time, all of our boxes were only placed inside our garage at the new home, not even brought inside. All of my perfectly labeled furniture was left in the wrong rooms and not re-assembled. 8. Day after our move I get billed for the $1945.00 quote PLUS OVERTIME OF $2800 FOR A TOTAL OF $4745.00. HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU GO FROM $1945 TO $4745 AND THINK IT'S OK. I get ahead of myself... 9. I get on the phone with the moving company and they offer me a refund of $605. Nope I'm not accepting only that amount. 10. They completely BLAME ME for the overtime. They said we didn't show the estimator our garage or basement which is why our quote was so low. I can promise you we walked him through our entire basement, garage, outside, shed, every single room in my home. But it's still my fault because he clearly blacked out for half of our appointment. Why in the world would I not show the estimator my full house?! I digress... Then they try blaming an inclined driveway at the new home. It's about a 10 foot long driveway but because it was inclined they had to park on the street and use dollies to wheel the boxes up. Let me remind you they only brought boxes into our garage instead of inside the house, up the stairs, through all the halls and into the rooms. Because clearly 10 foot walk is shorter than putting boxes inside my 3500 square foot house. Do the math... 11. Matt tries to tell me " Again, I want to emphasize there is not benefit to Dennis marking items as not going unless he was told." YES THERE IS A BENEFIT. IT ALLOWS YOU TO GIVE ME A LOWER QUOTE AND I TAKE YOUR BUSINESS. 12. They ignore me for a week after asking to have a conference call with them, the estimator and myself. 13. They then tell me "Dennis will not be able to contact you." and they would not speak with me further. 14. I call my credit card company and do not allow them to take a cent from me. 15. Multiple calls and emails later - They continue to tell us they made no mistakes. They said they would NEVER put their employees in a position to double what the original plans were. They are not ashamed of how they treat their customers. They are incapable of making mistakes, let alone just simply apologize for making one. Let me save you the stress during what should be an extremely exciting time in your life. DO NOT GIVE THESE ARROGANT PEOPLE YOUR MONEY. PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!! read more

My storage unit was at Simply Storage on North Beacon ST in Brighton. I called them to ask who they recommend for moving companies and they said Casey's. I called a week before my move date (January) and spoke with the receptionist. She was great to work with. When she called me the Sunday before my move I was unable to answer my phone. We talked via text messaging. SO EASY. The day of my move the guys, Keen, Matthew and Jarrod showed up early to Simply Storage and got all my stuff from my unit and came to Cambridge. The unit I moved into was brand new. I was very VERY nervous that something was going to get scratched, or dreaded holes in my new walls. My only issue was that they did not tell me in my quote that hoisting was an extra charge. Its $75 for the first piece and $25 for each one after that. This made my move $125 move than I was quoted. What was I supposed to do? Not have them hoist my stuff over the porch? Since my quote was for a second floor condo, this should have been mentioned. other than that, this was a move with no issues or complaints. read more

Donna N is having difficulty in posting her reply to Matt's latest stupid reply so I am posting her words for her here. Matt O: Please tell me you are NOT that stupid to write the response you just wrote: You are only a single person?????, I didn't accuse you of being a siamese twin! Most everyone in business is a single person. You are only human!!! The jury is still out on that one. Too bad you, and your office did not treat us as human. Ok, lets do this by the numbers AGAIN, MR. WITLESS! 1) YES we called during business hours. We called the next day after we had checked off each of our serial numbered boxes on our clipboard. 2). Because the phone volume was so loud, I could hear my husband talking to the woman on the phone, but she just kept talking over him. 3) So he finally got louder and told her, she might want to hear what he had to say, so that other people did not go through what we did. He finally hung up in frustration. 4) We THEN went on YELP thinking we might learn something. That is when we read Bert Carrsion's review that mentioned that Casey Movers had hired thieves in the past. 5) That is when my husband and I got the idea to check Craigslist to see if our goods where there. 6) Why would we call the police to only have our stuff tied up as evidence, when my husband is former Marine, and he has friends from the Corps, who he could take with him to retrieve our stuff. 7) They did just that. Interesting.... Your Dum to the gills mover, even tried to sell our stuff back to my husband with our stuff still in the boxes we had numbered. 8) I won't say here, how mr. Lightfingers was left. 9) When in hell was the last time you treated anyone with humanity?!?!?. I am sure you do not realize it, but you have the customer service skills of a flea. Oh, that is why the company logo is of a black dog, so the fleas are harder to see. Now we get it! 10) I asked my husband to call you this coming Monday, since you asked on here that we do so. He said to me and I quote, "You read the excuses that jerk types on Yelp. Why would I waste my time and breathe with him. We got the crew chief to take the long breaks off, and we got our stuff back with a little muscle. We are almost whole. They don't see the problem, they don't truly care to deal with the problem, or they would not post EXCUSES when people complain. And we got to warn any potential customers of how next to useless Casey Movers truly is. 11) Your average rating is a 1 star, and it is only that high because Yelp does not allow zero or negative numbered stars. We are not the first, and I guarantee you we are not the last who have stated or inferred they wish they could give less than a 1 star rating. 12) Listen THICK HEAD, other movers have 4 and 4 plus stars. They earned that some how, and it was NOT by making excuses. It was by TAKING responsibility!!!!!! Problems in business happen all the time. It is the winners who make their customers whole, and make them feel appreciated. We got a burger last week made incorrectly at Whalburgers. We politely asked them to make us a new one. That is all we wanted. The order taker SINCERELY apologized, threw the burger out in front of my husband so that he could see they were not just going to scrape off the melted cheese, and ordered that another burger be made pronto. We were satisfied with that. We were with friends. We were NOT in a rush. Two minutes later the manager comes over and makes another apology and hands us a gift certificate for twice the money value as the cost of the burger we ordered. We told him that was not necessary, but he insisted. He also took the cost of the first burger off our bill. 13) Casey Movers listen up. Matt O tells people in town that he is the office manager (as I said earlier my husband has figured out that he knows of the GREAT MATTIE O, by reputation. Mattie O here: has proven he does NOT have enough Customer Service skills. Is that not apparent to you from the thread of his replies to the people who have posted on Yelp? 14) Why do't you hire, some one who has TRUE customer service skills, and make Mattie O, here a mover so he can keep his eyes out for the thieves? 15) People who know how to give Customer Service come from the ranks, of Victim Advocates in the courts, good Nurses, Apple Geniuses, and even exceptional Service desk intakers at car dealerships, etc. They don't come from people who slide out from under rocks to make up excuses on Yelp, and then go over board by insulting them in public forums and saying they are a FAKE review. 16) I brought our car in last month for an oil change, and a bulb change for the dome light. But when I picked up the car, the bulb had not been changed. Service guy, (not even a manager) sincerely apologized and changed it purposely free of charge. I never asked that he change it for free. You build business by reputation, not by excuses or trying to intimidate. read more

First off, I'd like to recommend Casey Movers to anyone who is reading this if that is all you'd like to know. I had hired Casey Movers to help me settle into the Hanover area. I was coming from Upper Arlington, Ohio and I don't have any family or friends that were able to help me move. I also lived alone and I drive a small car so I thought I'd just pony up the cash and ease my life a little. I decided to go with Casey Movers after contacting several other movers (Mike Delprete and Sons, Lorraine Horse, Penske) from the area. I compared quotes and spoke with the manager and owner of each business before I settled with Casey Movers. Casey Movers were professional and courteous on the phone. They had guaranteed safety of my belongings by wrapping them in bubble wrap and moving towels. They assured me if anything were to go wrong I would be compensated and they would take responsibility without hesitation. The told me before hand how many people would be handling my belongings, as well. I'm a professional musician by trade and accountant full-time. I have lots of equipment that is very expensive and I wasn't able to fit them in my car. Plus, Casey Movers said they would arrive at my new places with my stuff a couple days after I had moved in so I took only essential things I needed for work and living, which was mainly clothes, kitchenware, bathroom essentials, bedroom set, lighting equipment, computer and some other household things. I was worried about my stuff the whole time as I had never hired a moving company, but starting my job at new place of work and settling in my new home took up most of my time until Casey Movers arrived. When they did I made sure I was home. When they pulled up, the movers stepped out of the truck and greeted me. They then began to tell me in detail how my belongings were prepared for the trip. I asked them about the trip and they told me which stops they took along the way and where. They told me they checked on my belongings at every stop and were happy to say everything went smoothly. Ok, time to see for myself. They opened up the back door of the truck and it was very organized and clean inside. All my belongings were wrapped in moving towels and everything was held down firmly. I then let them continue and move my belongings into the home as I had no grievances. They brought with them ramps and proper moving equipment and were very efficient. Did not take up any more time than they had to to move my stuff into my house and before I knew it all my belongings were moved in. Shortly after I signed some paperwork and they gave me copies. We shook hands and the deal was done. Oh, and I filed the paperwork in my filing cabinet under "A Job Well Done". Thanks Casey Movers. read more

I recommend that readers considering Casey Movers read all the reviews on this page written from everyone, as well as click on reviews that are not recommended by Yelp. Amazingly all the reviews have common threads. (same problems). DON'T USE THESE SO CALLED MOVERS. NEVER USE THESE JERKS!!!! Rip Off Artists In every way. Took longs breaks to txt from their phones, and tried to charge us for that time. White Boxes CLEARLY marked FRAGILE on all sides in large red marker were thrown like footballs. No respect for our things or our new home. Gouged walls. Would not wipe their feet before entering the house. Furniture damaged, "lost" (I don't know how) a TV, and a box labeled Jewelry. Thankfully the box labeled Jewelery was actually beer steins. Amazingly we were able to find them and our TV for sale on Craigslist. Amazingly the seller looked just like one of the movers. My husband and his brothers are former Marines. Somehow the seller "decided" to give the "lost" items for free. The office and the estimator promised us the world and delivered ZERO customer service. If Yelp let me rate them a negative number I would. They don't deserve Even 1 star. Rectum Holes!! My husband called the office to complain, who ever he reached gave him nothing but the run around. He was so frustrated, I heard him say, "I am trying to give you useful information so this does not happen to another customer." They just talked over him, so he hung up. WE ARE COMPLETELY DISGUSTED. We find out later that my husband knows of the office manager Matt. In our humble opinion Matt is beyond useless. He is not the heart of the problem, the problem is endemic there. They either don't care to change, or they don't know how. Just read Matt's response to the complaints here on Yelp. Always AN EXCUSE, does not know how to take responsibility and make the customer whole for the problem. Sadly some of the losses these poor customers have endured are not fully reimbursable. We feel RAPED. Read the reviews of from others on Yelp about them. All the problems have a common thread. Some day, Casey Movers will go out of business, you can't keep peeing on customers forever without developing a wide and strong reputation that new customers will avoid. ONE COMPLAINT IS ONE THING, BUT THIS MANY, WITH ALL THE SAME COMMON THREADS, THAT OUGHT TO TELL YOU SOMETHING. read more

I recently moved with Casey Movers back in April. The men showed up on time at 8:00am at the first stop in Brockton. They had to walk up and down 3 flights of stairs to move all of the furniture and boxes. They hustled and worked fast. After Brockton, we headed over to a storage unit that I had in East Bridgewater. They loaded a 10x10 unit into the truck. After that we went to a third stop in Whitman to load more boxes and furniture. Before we left for the final stop, the movers went over the bill with me. I was estimated for an 8 hour day but they explained to me that the bill was going to go over and they told me that think it will probably take them about 4 hours to offload everything into my new place. They gave me enough time to figure out the payment which I thought was very professional. Next was the final stop in Pembroke. We were on the second floor so there was one flight of stairs they had to walk up. Kyle and Jesse hustled and were very careful with my items. They were hard workers and very friendly. I highly recommend Casey Movers. read more

Casey Movers was fantastic! It all started with a referral (I also got a call from them as well). The office staff was very clear, and honest (I am a very upfront person)-Esp. with all the horror stories you hear about movers.. Mike the estimator came out-on time- unlike the other 2 moving companies I called for estimates. Gave me a price, that was handed to me rite then and there. 5 days later, Danielle in the office called to follow up to see what I thought of the quote and how it compared to all their competitors,(non of the other co's did this). At this point I felt very comfortable with Danielle and Mike so I booked. The day of the move could not of went any smoother. The men showed up on time, packed my 5 bedroom home and had me out of my house in time for the walk through at 11AM. All the other movers were going to charge me $500+ to hold my things over night and said there was no way it could all be done in one day. Casey Movers though! I HIGHLY recommend Casey Movers!!! read more

I actually talked a friend of mine into using Casey Movers last month. I had a great experience with them for my move so I figured she would too. She left me and moved to Charlotte, NC. It's so far away but she had a terrific opportunity...anyways, she used them for her move and when I spoke to her, she said she loved them. & she loved me for recommending them. The price they gave her, which was a flat rate was great, especially compared to the other prices she got which were extremely high. She said they came to her home to pack, they did a terrific job. They loaded up the trailer very efficiently and were ready to go. The guys made it to her home on time and the unload was so easy. She actually said the whole process was easier than when she moved previously. Casey Movers does a great job with their moves and I do not mind letting everyone know. They definitely come highly recommended in my book and hers. read more

Good thing I didn't look at this website before I chose to use Casey Movers! Well, my experience with Casey was a lot different from the rest of the yelpers I guess... I got a postcard in the mail, called Casey Movers, the girl in the office set me up with an appointment to have Nathan come out and give me an estimate. The office staff was very pleasant and more than helpful. Nathan was on time to give me a quote, he walked around looked through all of my cabinets and closets and gave me a price of $3000.00 to pack and move my 10 room 4 bedroom house. On move day the men showed up on time, they were very polite, clean, and very careful with my belongings. They disassembled and reassembled everything. My $11,000.00 baby grand piano made it with not a scratch. I would most definately hire Casey Movers and will highly recommend them to all family and friends. read more

I am writing this review for a friend of mine's parents. They used Casey Movers last month for their move to Florida. We were all a bit skeptical because its a small business and we never heard much about them. But the estimator came out, I think his name was Matt and he was extremely friendly. He gave them a pretty good quote that was a little less than the other companies that we had asked. Also Casey Movers' price was a flat rate instead of the price being by weight which wouldve probably cost them double. The office staff was very responsive and any questions that they had they were quick with responses and extremely understanding. If I ever mive I would definitely use them and I would definitely recommend them to others. They made it easy on his parents which took a lot of the stress out of moving and they were very happy with the end result. read more

We contracted with Casey for a move from a condo in Hull to a 2bd apt in Somerville. We had self-packed but the crew came with extra boxes which were needed and very appreciated. The van arrived on time and the crew leader Kenny was professional and polite, reviewed all the paperwork and contract with us in advance and all materials were loaded carefully. Upon arrival in Somerville the unloading proceeded efficiency even through the space was very tight in the new location. The crew cheerfully moved our possessions as directed by my wife including setting up the bed and couches. The estimate was in line including the extra time to unload- the crew was extremely professional and polite and actually enjoyed what they were doing. It was a very positive experience and I wouldn't hesitate to contract Casey in the future. Thanks! read more

DON't USE THIS COMPANY!!! RIP OFF RIP OFF You have been warned!! I hired this company... Gave me a quote with a 5 hour minimum... Showed up an hour early at 8am Done by 1130 am and charged my credit card for $229.00 more claiming I went over the 5 hours!!! The move was a 7 streets down the road and wish I read reviews before I hired such a hack business!!! They have all the excuses but still get the same bad reviews!!!! They sat on the truck for the last half hour and did a half ass job moving and nothing wrapped ... Blankets or shrink wrap. Lots of scratches and dings on walls and furniture... Wouldn't put anything back together and claimed it would save me money!!! What a joke when I disputed charges with my credit card company and the contract I signed to complete move, they added the hours after my signature !!! read more

We hired them for the second time. Nick and Ryan were 10 minutes early, which was great. They were very friendly and nice guys. We had a lot of furniture to be moved into a three level condo. Our new homes stairs had a few angled spots, and they did everything they could to get the items carefully upstairs, which they did. They did run over the scheduled time, but again, there were only two of them when there should have been three maybe even four. They barely took a break. I offered to get them lunch, they politely declined. Nick and Ryan were absolutely great! So nice, caring, friendly and hard working. They were also beyond thankful when we tipped as well! They deserved it, they busted their butts all morning for us. I know there are a few bad reviews here, but I would hire and request them again. Thanks again! read more

Casey moved me from North Reading to Pembroke including a 10 day storage period between closing dates. The move from North Reading was a wonderful experience. The crew was punctual, professional and courteous. There were a few difficult pieces of furniture to move which was done with skill and care. The move into my 55+ townhouse community was excellent despite heavy rains and difficulty maneuvering a forty foot tractor trailer into my cul de sac. Casey set up the furniture as directed and even repositioned pieces when asked. The move-in crew was courteous, capable and even cheerful despite being soaked to the bone by heavy rains. The price was fair and reasonable. The service I received was much appreciated and I have no complaints. Both moving crews worked very hard and I'm thankful for their efforts. John L read more

I used Casey movers to move my one bedroom apartment from Whitman to Bridgewater. My parents have used them in the past and they had a very good experience each time. I had two men and a truck estimated for my move. The two men showed up on time and were very nice, well dressed & mannered. They treated all of my belongings with the best of care. It was a rainy/snowy day and I was very thankful for them having a mattress bag for me to use/have. At the end of the day they presented me with my bill it was a littler higher than what I expected, but they did a good job.. No damage, they helped me put my bed and other misc items together. All in all it was a good experience and myself and my parents will continue to both use Casey Movers for any other moves that we have and we will certainly recommend them. read more

They called me, how they knew I was moving I have no clue. I set up an estimate and they came out the next week. The man they sent out was very helpful and friendly (the owner???) as I haven't moved in AGES. He was able to answer all my questions in great detail. The estimate was reasonable so I decided to give them my deposit. They were very thorough. Shortly after giving my deposit I got an email describing the exact service I was to be receiving and what to expect on the day of my move. Moving day went smoothly. The two men they sent did a good job, boy did they work hard! They stuck right to the estimate and I was very appreciative. There were a couple scratches on the headboard of my bed, and on my hutch, but overall I'm very happy and would use them again. read more

I recently had Casey Movers do a move for me from Weymouth MA to Hanover MA. I can not say enough about this company. The office staff is so professional and easy to work with. We had to reschedule for a day or two and it was no problem...they handled it perfectly. We moved on 6/2, Bob and his amazing crew were so professional, fast and respectful of all my things. They didn't wast time with breaks nor were they on the cell phone as I see all the time these days. The move was completed so quickly, it left me half the day to start unpacking. I cant say enough and will be using them again as we have another move planned in a few months. Thank you Casey Movers...I wish I could give you 6 stars!! read more

Poor service, breaks contract, delivery not guaranteed, service not performed as promised. Movers arrive to unloan 6 hours late, and after demanding payment refused to unload because they were unmotivated, and tired! THEN as they leave I asked them to leave the trailer, and the deiver sinks the truck, and then almost rolls the truck in the cul-de-sac, after destroying two neighbors yards. IT WASN'T until 1am when they got the truck out. They destroyed furniture which I feel was done purposely! No offer or call from management! POOR, POOR, POOR. This company cost me money, caused unreasonable stress, and an unfavorable reputation for my family and I due to their less than professional work! read more

I would recommend Casey Movers to everyone moving. They did such a fantastic job on my move. I am very grateful for how hard they all worked. The three men that came to my home for the move did such an amazing job. They took so much care with all my furniture and boxes. They were so caring and friendly. They moved all the big pieces and piano fairly easily. I was a little surprised. They made it look like it was nothing. I really appreciated the work they did. The girls in the office were especially nice. They really helped me with a lot. I truly am happy I used Casey Movers for my move because it went off without a hitch. read more

We recently used Casey Movers to move from our home to a smaller home in the next town. From the initial phone call to the last item that was unloaded, I found everyone a pleasure to work with. They were professional, polite, and knowledgeable. The guys who ultimately loaded and unloaded the truck worked non stop and I could see that they had moving down to a science. I felt that my precious belongings were in capable hands. I would definitely recommend them to anyone planning a move of any size. The customer service is also excellent! Lisa M. In response to Matthew O of Casey movers. Technically a full day of work is 8 hours. If I was scheduled for a "half day" wouldn't that mean you're crew would have to finish the job in 4 hours? How would your crew be able to empty one house, travel to another and offload within the "HALF DAY" time frame. I was charged 4 hours alone In travel time!! You're reasoning doesn't justify the legitimacy of the charges accrued. Stop trying to make this look like its my fault. You're condoning your own incompetence. My dispute is congruent with most people on this web site. read more

These guys did a litte move for us, just a small apartment. But who wants to deal with it right? They were on time and made it really easy. All we really did was tell them what was going with them and the two guys did the rest. Not srue how they would be with a big house or expensive things - we just have a small apartment. But they were on time and the guys were polite. They made it all look pretty easy so they must have done it a few times. Got all our stuf into one truck and delivered it, set it up and that was all - really easy. I would use them again read more
