A few years ago, we had some work done to the siding of our kitchen bay window. At that time we used a word-of-mouth contractor, who at the time portrayed he knew what he was doing, and once he was done it "appeared" to have been done correctly. Fast forward about 3 years later, and that work he performed, turned out to have been done by cutting a lot of corners, and done incorrectly! Since then, Cody established his business, and has been a saving grace. When I contacted him about the work, I provided photos of the damage, and he directed me to his scheduler. She informed us, he was booked out until after the first of the year, however he managed to squeeze us in at the same time he had another job in our area. Cody and his crew arrived on time at our home. We have a Ring camera and was able to see when they were moving around. What I noticed right away was his crew setting up a pop-up canopy as we had been having some inclement weather like we normally do in the PNW. This assured me, they were taking the situation seriously and not trying to get by, while doing their work in the rain. Additionally I could see their van in one of our camera views and it was fully stocked with equipment needed for the job. The fact Cody and his team started with a pop-up canopy gave me confidence and reassurance the job would be done right. Needless to say, Cody and his team uncovered some "interesting" work. There were lots of gaps in the wood that allowed air flow and water to seep in because the work was not flashed and sealed correctly. They had to replace the window sill on the inside, cut out mold, and replace any other damaged or missing wood. After it was all done he reassured it was done correctly, and flashed and sealed so we wouldn't have any future issues. When the last "contractor" worked on this area, they also painted our home, yet left the paint buckets open, which made the remaining paint dry out. Cody and his team was able to get the paint needed and color matched it to the existing color. I would highly recommend Cody and his team to anyone. They are efficient, on time, professional and he expects an exceptional quality of work.

Fred, the owner, and his crew were competent and professional. The job was to upgrade and customize a house I had just purchased. The budget ended up being around $60,000. It included a complete remodel of the kitchen and one bathroom, practically from the studs up, and new LVP floors, baseboards, ceiling lights, and paint throughout. They also vastly improved the deck with handsome railings and steps down to the yard. Actually, if I could, I would give FJC even more stars. Of all the contractors I have worked with over my lifetime, Fred was by far the most committed to ensuring that I got what I wanted, and the most collaborative. His suggestions and creative solutions vastly improved the ultimate design and saved me money in several areas. He also has excellent taste. The LVP flooring that he found and recommended to me is stunning. I spend a few minutes every single day just admiring my floors - yes, I actually do. And finally, Fred is a self-starter and uses his initiative in appropriate ways. As one example, the movers had left my heavy outside dining chairs stacked up on the deck. Yet every time, Chris brought master craftsmanship, professionalism, good cheer, and affordability to the job. Each time, we considered ourselves lucky to have him. (Indeed, his work has provided a striking contrast to the parade of charlatans we've typically suffered when he was unavailable.) And by master craftsmanship, I mean not just excellent quality of work, but also the knowledge and experience to approach each project efficiently and affordably.
