Long story short he completed the project on time on budget even after some change order work . Jerry's workmanship and professional ethics made me glad that Northwest Quality Finishes was there for the project. Jerry was always pleasant and accessible via phone or text. As a matter of fact he also completed additional contract work that was also done to high construction standards and I would highly recommend Jerry. I consider myself extremely picky and demand high quality work which Jerry provided. I couldn't give Jerry a higher rating he's a 10 out of 10. One last note Jerry does a wide variety of construction tasks and I recommend checking out his website . Thanks Jerry!!!!!!

From the first call with Andrea, to the whole flooring process with Mike and the team, they were phenomenal. Andrea was so communicative with every step of the process. We had 2 bathrooms, 2 rooms, a living room, stairs and other projects (that needed to be finished from the previous company before we moved in) and they were done better than we could of imagined. Mike showed up every morning and sometimes with a team (who were great too), checked in and just kept us in the loop and completed the job and it looks incredible. I can't recommend GOD BOY enough! But beyond the quality of their work, I also want to note that they went above and beyond to answer all my questions (and I had A LOT of questions) prior to and during the installation process. They were patient, clear, and communicative throughout all the stages - from scheduling a measurement, providing an estimate, explaining details of the estimate, confirming a =timeline, and ensuring we were kept informed throughout the entire process. Their costs also came in either below or equivalent to any of the big box store's contracted installers - who I doubt would have provided the care, communication, and quality provided by Good Boy. So, in terms of their cost, their communication, and their quality, I think they are an A+ company.

Because we trusted this business, we decided to see if we had other, less expensive options. Kurt and Julie helped us find a quality laminate that didn't break our budget and brightened up the home beautifully. It's easy for us senior citizens to keep clean, too. A special bow of appreciation to Mitch, who did a terrific job on the new baseboards -- he painstakingly fine-tuned the places where new baseboards met old -- and was a true pleasure to have around. Even our dog liked him! If you want the job done right, these are the folks to contact.

They were very friendly, worked quickly, and explained everything to us. We got an estimate a few days later and agreed to have New Dimension do the work. We approved the contract and paid the deposit and they ordered the wood. We ordered Brazilian cherry solid hardwood that we wanted finished in place. We wanted it to match the existing wood that part of the house had and they got it pretty close! They started work on October 8th and were completely done with the floors the 20th. We ended up having them replace the baseboards too because we wanted something that looked nicer, so we got another estimate for that and they got to work. Brandon was the main guy doing our floors. He was very nice and honest and communicated with me regularly to let me know how everything was progressing. We got the existing floors refinished at his recommendation and they look amazing, so much better than when we bought the house! There was a small issue with the first round of sealing the existing floors and Brandon let me know immediately and fixed it for us, which did push our move-in date a few days but ultimately wasn't a problem. He also gave us a recommendation for which product to use to keep our floors clean and in good condition which I'm thankful for. Mitch took care of our baseboards and was super nice. He worked on his own and was very efficient, fixing things as he found them and asking me questions when needed. We were living in the house by the time he got started but we just stayed out of his way and made sure he had what he needed. He was very friendly and helpful and we loved having him around. Overall we had a fantastic experience with New Dimension. Julie was super nice and called me to update me regularly, and their employees were all great. They're coming back in January to replace the carpet with wood on our stairs and we are looking forward to it. We highly recommend going with New Dimension if you are looking for a flooring or baseboard upgrade!

May of 2018 we had a flood due in our utility room due to a water heater leak. WVR came in and…read moreseemed to know exactly what they were doing. They had the room in plastic, dryers, and brought in the people to do the work to put the room back together which included replacing dry wall, flooring, cabinets, etc. For weeks the work did not begin and and repeated attempts to contact them resulted in, 'Mike's not in, he'll call you back'. Calls were consistently unreturned. In one successful contact with Mike, who was the project manager, he told us that the flooring had not come in and that's why they hadn't started the job. We called the flooring company and they said that he had not ordered it. From the time that work did begin, it was a nightmare.Mike provided no plans to us or his workers, he mismeasured so that the work they began was not possible to complete (this was caught by a worker who, within a day was let go for some reason- he was a skilled worker) He and another man had to come over and restructure the plan. The workers did good work at first, but Mike was never available and so the work would get held up. When they installed the water heater they did not fill the tank before starting it up so it burned out the element. The work was not completed until Nove 5th, no plans or itemized list was ever provided. We had to get the itemized list of work from the insurance adjustor. The bill was paid by insurance and extra work contracted for the job was paid by us in full. Just last month, we discovered a leak again. Our water heater closet was swollen shut and the replaced drywall work inside the house adjacent to the closet was cracked (18", 7" long, 1/4" wide), in the seams. WVR claimed that the cracks were the result of "the house settling" and they claimed no responsibility for their workers' installation of the water heater. When we contacted our insurance company as when we could expect the work to begin (WVR would not return our calls), our insurance adjuster reported that Mike had told him, "Why should I do the work when they still haven't paid me?" This, of course, was a shock, and threatened our reputation and credibility with our insurance company. Mike had claimed WVR they had widened our doors and completed other work for which they were not paid. This is patently false- no such work was ever done. WVR front office confirms that all bills to us have been paid in full. Mike slandered us to our insurance company. I do not know what struggles WVR are having as a company or if this is just their business model, but we still have black mold in our house and are trying to get a resolution for the condition Willamette Valley Restoration has left our home. We can't get back the time, stress and frustration of having dealt with such an unprofessional, shoddy company over the past 10 months.

I called WVR immediately and they were able to send out someone right away. They coordinated with my insurance so I didn't have to think about any of it. They had great people who redid our original soft wood fir floors and restored them to like new. And, most importantly, they had the right equipment to dry out my documents so they were still usable. Out of 30 boxes worth of papers, only 1 and a half were not back to "usable" condition. The second time I used them, I had a leaky pipe around my shower that I didn't know was leaking inside the wall until I noticed a huge wet area on the ceiling in our dining room below. Again, they came over immediately and got started. With the sensors they had, they were able to tell where the water started and stopped in the ceiling and only cut out what they needed to. For about a week, it looked like the movie ET in our house with plastic wrap everywhere to cordon off the parts where they were working! We were still able to use all the other areas and they did not interfere with our daily lives. When they restored the ceiling, they matched our heavy plaster "design" in the ceiling to the point that you cannot tell what is old and what is new. I've been impressed both times we've used them. Easy to work with, fast and efficient, and all the special equipment to get the job done.

The rehab loan depended on it in order to proceed. We met Roman at the property, told him what we wanted and what we had to work with. The guy did not seem interested in being there at all to me. I ended up walking away and letting my wife talk. At the end, he said we'd have a bid from him in a week. That week came and went... NOTHING..... I called. He said he'd get his notes to me by the end of the day to make sure we were on the same page. No surprise, I didn't get that Email as promised. Days later, I get his notes. We confirm, YES this is what we want to do. We didn't hear back from him until a month later when we got an Email stating they aren't taking any new jobs. All I have to say is it's a damned good thing we gave up on contractors to get back to us and went with a conventional loan instead of the 203k we started with. What the hell is wrong with contractors in this area?? Nobody seems like they want to work. They all say they'll get back to you but it's crickets from there.

So let me get to the point on this Roman guy and his company and people. Bottomline, if are in Eugene / Springfield, and you don't use him for your remodeling project, then you are S-T-U-P-I-D!! Budget builders the company is IMPRERSSIVE! here is why: 1) make their promises in writing. 2) They KEEP the promises they made. 3) Starts worl ON TIME 4) Finish work within the time frame promised. 5) finish work within the price quoted. Yeah, pretty simple aye?? Its funny that something this simple and yet most contractors cannot perform with the parameter. Budget Builders did a FANTASTIC job for the Bathroom tile and tub remodeling. All the while I was out of town in Southern California. They utilize technologies and provided me with updated progress pictures on the contruction in progress. They utilize technology and just provide a GREAT expreience. I am sold on them and will use them for all my future kitchen remodeling. Thier price is the lowest quoted and the workmanship is EXCELLENT! Review for David Craig - Innovative Underground (Eugene, OR)…read moreAfter eight years of living with a stubborn drainage problem, I had nearly given up. Two of our roof gutters fed into a 65-foot underground line that was supposed to carry rainwater to the street -- but something deep under our concrete walkway and patio was badly clogged. I spent months working with two different companies, each promising solutions that never worked. After four costly attempts, I still had overflowing gutters, water pooling near our foundation, and a growing sense of frustration. Then I called David Craig at Innovative Underground, and everything changed. From the very first consultation -- which was detailed, thoughtful, and worth every penny -- David impressed me as a creative idea-guy with vast experience and true integrity. He looked at my situation and saw several possible paths to success that I never would've imagined. His final design was simple, smart, and permanent: a trench and a new piping system leading to a pop-up emitter, placed well away from the house to disperse roof runoff safely. David was on-site the entire day with his assistant Jay, personally ensuring that every connection, slope, and joint fit ideally. They worked cleanly, efficiently, and with genuine care for my property. It's rare to see that level of professionalism and craftsmanship today. The results speak for themselves: both gutters now drain flawlessly into the new emitter system, even in the heaviest Oregon rain. The stress and worry that consumed me all summer are finally gone -- replaced by real peace of mind. David is honest, caring, innovative, and thorough. He offers options rather than pressure, listens rather than assumes, and brings decades of experience to every decision. Whether you hire him for a whole project or just a consultation, his insight is worth your investment. I highly recommend Innovative Underground to anyone facing drainage challenges. David Craig is exactly the professional you hope to find -- ethical, experienced, and genuinely committed to solving problems the right way.
