My partner and I just purchased our first home and wanted to replace the carpet with hardwood. We had Kurt and Julie come out to take measurements and get us an estimate and they were great! They were very friendly, worked quickly, and explained everything to us. We got an estimate a few days later and agreed to have New Dimension do the work. We approved the contract and paid the deposit and they ordered the wood. We ordered Brazilian cherry solid hardwood that we wanted finished in place. We wanted it to match the existing wood that part of the house had and they got it pretty close! They started work on October 8th and were completely done with the floors the 20th. We ended up having them replace the baseboards too because we wanted something that looked nicer, so we got another estimate for that and they got to work. Brandon was the main guy doing our floors. He was very nice and honest and communicated with me regularly to let me know how everything was progressing. We got the existing floors refinished at his recommendation and they look amazing, so much better than when we bought the house! There was a small issue with the first round of sealing the existing floors and Brandon let me know immediately and fixed it for us, which did push our move-in date a few days but ultimately wasn't a problem. He also gave us a recommendation for which product to use to keep our floors clean and in good condition which I'm thankful for. Mitch took care of our baseboards and was super nice. He worked on his own and was very efficient, fixing things as he found them and asking me questions when needed. We were living in the house by the time he got started but we just stayed out of his way and made sure he had what he needed. He was very friendly and helpful and we loved having him around. Overall we had a fantastic experience with New Dimension. Julie was super nice and called me to update me regularly, and their employees were all great. They're coming back in January to replace the carpet with wood on our stairs and we are looking forward to it. This company installed engineered hardwood in our townhouse in stages over the last 10 years. When we moved into a manufactured home in November 2025, we needed to replace the carpet but could no longer afford hardwood. Because we trusted this business, we decided to see if we had other, less expensive options. Kurt and Julie helped us find a quality laminate that didn't break our budget and brightened up the home beautifully. It's easy for us senior citizens to keep clean, too. A special bow of appreciation to Mitch, who did a terrific job on the new baseboards -- he painstakingly fine-tuned the places where new baseboards met old -- and was a true pleasure to have around. I moved to Eugene in July 2020, just before the fires. I bought someone else's gorgeous custom home from the 70's, with carpet that didn't reflect the organic look I wanted. My real estate agent recommended New Dimension. Right now I am sitting in my kitchen, the slightly rosy color of the magnificently beautiful red oak hardwood glowing on my entire upstairs. Picking the hardwood was pure fun, being able to touch and see the choices and imagine them in my house. The installers were uber-competent and careful, and worked hard even as the fires raged nearby, filling the world with ash. They did such a gorgeous job around my rocky fireplace that the folks in the office photographed it for future jobs.Then, when I got ready to set up my office, I realized that I really wanted wood in there too. So in no time flat, more boxes of Mercier were curing in my house, and the office is equally gorgeous. When I called into my insurance company to upgrade my house, the home value leapt forty thousand dollars for an eight thousand dollar investment, should I decide to sell. I can't speak for you but that's a pretty significant return for beautification. Along the way I have met wonderful, dedicated people who have helped me feel part of my new community. Every day as the sun rises in the forest that surrounds my house I watch as that rosy oak glows from inside to match the tall firs outside. This is my forever home, and it was worth every single penny and then some. Here's the bonus round: when the delivery guy who dropped off my wood broke a sprinkler in my yard, Kurt helped me find repair folks (who are now hired for future work in my yard) and covered the cost. Had our existing hardwood refinished and they installed quite a bit more flooring to match the old. Very nice people to work with and they did a nice job. They came back three times to work on a problem spot and fixed it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others. read more

We recently had our floors refinished, sanded and restained. We were out of town during the project and Kurt called to see when we were returning as he was not happy with the initial staining outcome. The completed project was excellent and some minor details were speedily remedied. Customer service was excellent and we were given a sizable sample before we made our final decision on stain color which was very helpful. We had minor issues 4 months after initial installation of our classy Metropolitan Grey flooring due to a couple of nicks and marks after window remodel. We contacted New Dimensions and on 3 occasions they promptly sent out a staff member to remedy situation. Scott did a PERFECT job and when he was done it was almost impossible to find repaired areas. The crafts people with New Dimension Hardwood Floors had a tough product to work with but they got it done beautifully. In addition, management and support staff made certain we understood the material and how best to care for and enjoy it for years to come. I was shocked at the complete lack of integrity shown by the owner, office manager and installers at this company. They started strong, but never even finished the job, despite numerous requests and downright pleading. In addition, they installed a piece of wood for a step that was cracked, and I had to pay them to come back and fix it. They installed wood under the door and when the door wouldn't open, said I must not be opening it right. I paid them to come back to finish a closet, and they only did half of it, and claimed they "ran out of wood." They cracked two places in the drywall down to the metal. The trim was not installed correctly or completely. Our bag of power tools mysteriously disappeared when they were working on our house.. Every interaction with the office manager was unpleasant, and got worse as time went on. They even insisted on being paid in full before the job was even done. The floor is already peeling and cracked in a few places. They have a habit of viciously attacking anyone they have treated like this. We paid 5500 for 360 sq feet-not a cheap job! We wanted to support a small local business, but from now on we will stick with Jerry's and Costco! read more

I hired New Dimensions Hardwood Floors to instal hardwood floor in my hallway two months ago. I paid a 388 dollar deposit. I was told the project would be completed the following Friday, but the flooring never arrived. I contacted the manager and was told the wrong sized flooring came in and it would be a couple more weeks. A month later after not being contacted by the company, I attempted to email the owner and manager to get a status update. I wait a week and do not get a response back. I call the office pretty upset about the customer service and spoke to the secretary. I'm told the owner would call me back in 30 minutes. I never received a call back or email from him. I called again the following day and was told the owner would be in at 3 pm. I was assured he would be calling me. It's 4:15 pm and I still haven't received a call back yet! I'm contacting a different company to install the floors now. I do not recommend New Dimension Hardwood Floors in Eugene. Very bad customer service and communication! read more
