It was early on Sunday the 8th of June 2025. Despite the day and time the store already had a few customers ahead of us. These guys are great! They are very efficient as it didn't take long for them to take care of us. They were very friendly and professional. The guys seemed more like a pit crew and interesting to watch them. Each technician communicated with each other and knew exactly how to get all the many different systems checked and serviced with efficiency. If I lived in that area I would be a regular and get all my vehicles serviced with them. I wish we would have remembered their names to thank them again. Anyway an outstanding experience!

All it needed was to be tightened, which he did. He said because it was my daughter's car he was going to do a full check of the car to make sure it was safe And everything was where it needed to b. He checked the car over like it was his own kids car. when he was done, he wouldn't even let me pay him as all he did was tighten a few nuts and said to bring it back before she left for school in Arizona. Which I did today and he remembered the whole story and was awesome again today. That day was 106° and they have earned my business for forever, I truly appreciate good honest customer service.

I thought maybe they stripped the threads on my oil plug. I had a different mechanic look at it and the Valvoline Instant Oil Change place had put on the WRONG oil filter. The base where it screws onto the engine was smaller and oil was blowing out on my starter and exhaust. It should have been obvious to the guy in the pit that he didn't have the right filter. Not acceptable. It could have ruined my engine or burned my car down! Never again will I use ANY of their locations. I should have known I guess "If you want it done right, do it yourself"

I called the shop in the am explaining the situation and they told me they could look at it that day. Mike was fantastic. He immediately dropped what he was doing (and the shop looked very busy) and made like I was his most important customer. He diagnosed the problem that morning, ordered the part. A wire within the ignition tumbler had burned up. The part had to be shipped from the east coast. The next day, the part arrived and the part was immediately installed. Mike is extremely competent and professional. Pricing was more than fair. I would absolutely recommend Absolute Auto to anyone that needs a mechanic in the Yakima area. I wish he was in my hometown.

20 hours ago New Got…read morea flat and had to buy 4 new tires to make it home to Spokane. Firestone was unfortunately the only option since it was a Sunday. Hours after they said the vehicle would be ready, we can finally head out. Two hours later one of the BRAND NEW TIRES blew leaving us stranded on the side of the road. So after spending over $700 for the tires, we also got to pay $450 to tow the vehicle the rest of the way home. Dealing with the store we bought the service from sucked. Dealing with the area manager was BARELY more helpful. Even if it's Sunday, I'd wait it out until Monday to go ANYWHERE else. I now feel stuck with these tires and I don't feel safe on the road, but i can't afford to purchase another set since I already bought these out of desperation.

I expected to wait a half day to get new Michelins, but the entire crew got me in and out in an hour or less. Very friendly, helpful and kick ass on doing stuff right. Les Schwab was SUPPOSED to do this order, but 2 stores dropped the ball and offered ZERO help trying to get the situation fixed. Shop local....... Shop tire Center.
