20 hours ago New Got a flat and had to buy 4 new tires to make it home to Spokane. Firestone was unfortunately the only option since it was a Sunday. Hours after they said the vehicle would be ready, we can finally head out. Two hours later one of the BRAND NEW TIRES blew leaving us stranded on the side of the road. So after spending over $700 for the tires, we also got to pay $450 to tow the vehicle the rest of the way home. Dealing with the store we bought the service from sucked. Dealing with the area manager was BARELY more helpful. Even if it's Sunday, I'd wait it out until Monday to go ANYWHERE else. I now feel stuck with these tires and I don't feel safe on the road, but i can't afford to purchase another set since I already bought these out of desperation. read more

We recently took our 2012 Audi Q7 here for brakes. They asked to keep it overnight to complete new rotors and pads. That was fine, except their tech accidentally broke some part of the car that they couldn't repair right away. They ended up keeping the car for over a week while we tried to figure out how to run our small business without our vehicle. Once the part arrived, they put it all back together and called us to come get it. They apologized and seemed very grateful for our patience. But, not grateful enough to offer much of a concession. They gave us $100 off per axle, which was fine combined with the 5% off for opening a credit account with them. But, wait- there was no credit account discount for us after all because they already gave us $200 off. So, we got a small discount minus the use of our car for a week. They offered to sweeten the deal with a free oil change at the end, but we would prefer not to have to go through this all over again. $200 off plus the 5% off credit card discount would have been the better solution here. But, they figured we weren't coming back anyways, so they tried to lasso us back in with another service. No thanks. Bye, Firestone. read more

I would not recommend the Firestone service center in Yakima. I had a very low tire so I asked them to check it out. The mechanic told me the tire had a nail stuck in it at an angle an to tell me my car was they were not able to fix it. He recommended buying a new tire for 97 dollars. I didn't think that sounded legitimate but I said alright. Twenty minutes later he came out from the service area to tell me my car was finished. I said I don't have to pay for the tire being fixed correct? He said they didn't have the right tire in stock, straightened the nail and patched the tire. I said why didn't you tell me right away you didn't have the tire? He just said sorry about that. The whole situation was totally bogus. I will never go back there again and you all shouldn't either. Was driving through Yakima when my front left tire started making a horrific noise. Being it was a Sunday, not many options of what's open. I called and they got me right in, were all so nice and didn't try to charge me an arm and a leg. They fixed it and got me on my way. It's really all I could ask for in the situation. As for the noise? It was a tiny rock stuck in a weird place in the rotor. They all had said they'd never seen that before and it was basically a one in a million thing. Absolutely the worst place to take your vehicle for auto service! This is my third attempt to have the same work order performed on my vehicle. First time, I dropped it off for an appt at 10 am. By 3 pm, nobody had called me so I called them. They hadn't touched my vehicle for 5 hours and it was still 3rd in line. I took back my car and made another appt. I showed up too early for the second appt. Problem was, their entire building of systems was "not working." I set up a third appt which I've been waiting...more than 30 minutes just to hand them the key. I'm worried I won't see my car all day and that they also wont do the work I need done. Angel, a technician here entered my vehicle, secured the lug wrench out of the back of my truck and used it on another vehicle in the shop. After calling him out on it, they said "sorry about that" and allowed him to continue. I have a huge problem with them using my tools to fix another persons vehicle. Not trustworthy. read more

Made an appt for brakes for a Sunday, dropped my car off the night before. Closing time came around on Sunday and they had not called me yet about my car. I called them to pay and they tell me they had not worked on it. They said they were too busy! What is the point of an appt if you are putting others before mine?? Not only that they also added "and you also need the back brakes"? Quoted $1k for the job. Went elsewhere for a second opinion and the only thing it needed was brake pads in the front. Top notch service. I have had Firestone's lifetime alignment on my Volvo for several years, and I take advantage of it often when I work on my suspension. The staff at the front desk were very professional and friendly; the service manager who helped me shook my hand and said it was nice to meet me - a rarity in the auto service business. I told them I would be waiting on the service, so they had the car on the alignment fixture within 5 minutes of when I showed up at the shop. The alignment was exactly as expected, no issues there. They have a spacious waiting area with quality (Starbucks?) coffee, plenty of magazines, and cable tv. I would definitely recommend this Firestone location to friends in Yakima. read more

Never should have left. For an All in one quick and polite service provider these guys have your vehicle covered. I will definitely be a regular here from now on. Labor day these guys were open but busy, but fixed my flat and got me out of there with time to spare. No charge since i got my tires through them. The service was bar none. I have been coming to this place for years. Not always the cheapest place. Recently I went in enquiring about a tire rebate. After collecting the information I was planning on coming back. However they told me how I can get the tires a little sooner without having to comeback in a few days. I also needed to do some repairs before I had the tires installed. I have bought and had tires installed there a couple of times and had nothing but great service. I recently bought a set of tires off of tire rack and had them delivered. I had a great experience, ease of instal. Recommended new valve stems and all for a reasonable price that was cheaper than other tire shops in town. I also want to say that the employees put wraps around the steering wheel and floor covers. They are polite and take pride in their work and it shows. I also like how they treat you like a valued customer not just somebody passing by like I have gotten at other stores. Without hesitation I would recommend the store. Now the only bad part is just trying to time the parking with the stop light, can get tricky when traffic is busy. But I'll take that any day for the service. read more

Just had my 2006 BMW 330xi aligned and found the customer service to be good and the work to be done timely. I did ask if I could bring it down on a Saturday afternoon (same day) and they figured out a way to squeeze it in over that same weekend. Good prices on the actual services as well. I think it came to roughly $82 bucks for the 4 wheel alignment. Try getting it done for that at any BMW service center. The only area for improvement, although minor, would be the follow up call when it was done. I gave my phone number to the tech a couple of times and somehow he still didn't get it right in the computer. No biggie as I knew when they were anticipating finishing and they delivered as expected. read more

Terrible customer service. Now wait hear me out before continuing to scroll. We were out of town, about four hours from home. We intentionally chose a small town to stay in and tried to use local businesses. We had a sensor break on our truck and it was DUMPING oil everywhere. We stopped in at Firestone because they were the closest to us and still open. Despite the fact that there was a tech there, it was 4 hours before closing, and we didn't care what it cost, we were turned away. Not only were we turned away but we're done so rudely. I don't mean in that off hand kind of rude where you are just kind of blown off but the kind of rude that makes you wonder if they think your just not good enough to be in their shop. There we stand begging for help on a Saturday in a small town to be told maybe if we came back on Tuesday. My poor husband swallowed his pride and litterally begged to speak to the tech, just to get some advice so he could go to the parts store just to be told that "it's not advisable". First of all what does that even mean. Second of all what harm would it have done to have the tech take five minutes to look and give some advice. Okay so.lets just say they were trying to cover their selves and did not want to give advice with out a thorough look. When my husband asked who else might be available to help they gave him the name of two shops, one that was not open. Then proceeded to give him driving directions that were in the opposite direction of both shops. Keep in mind that at this point we had lost at least 2 quarts of oil. Firestone obviously gives no cares about customers, their community, or fellow humans in general. I have never heard anyone speak to my husband in such a condescending rude manner in my life. I've been a customer at Firestone for many years now. They have always treated me very well. I used to travel frequently & would stop in to have them check fluids & tire pressure. They kept me on the road & safe. They put on my snow tires and take them off every winter. I bought a set of Blizzak snow tires from them because I would go over Snoqualmie Pass a lot, & they worked great in bad weather. I highly recommend Firestone-Tino, Conner, Alexis are all great to work with. Our safety on the road is important to them! read more

WOULD HAVE RATED THEM 0 STARS IF IT WAS AN APTION!! My husband, my son and i were here and a worker (said he wasnt a technician) tried to give him advice because we showed up ten minutes before closing and the other mechanics were busy so he thought he could help with my husbands problem which is what we now learned to be the welding on the motor mount. At the time the worker explained to him that he didnt see anything wrong with the car but my husband knew there was something wrong and continued to look at his car and make sure it was going to be okay for our 30 minute drive home. While i was feeding my son in the backseat, my husband worked on the car outside firestone for about 20 minutes after it closed and then four police squad cars pulled up behind us and began questioning us about what we were doing there and what he thought was wrong with the car. They didnt look at the car to see if anything was wrong and didnt believe my husband when he said he thought that the worker was wrong. They then stated that the same worker called and said a "tweaker" was outside insisting something was wrong and insinuated that my husband was on something when he was in fact not!!! Im angered that they would assume such things and outraged that they would go to such lengths as to call the police on my husband for trying to make sure his family was safe. read more

One of the worst experiences I've ever had at any Firestone location. At locations in Spokane Seattle Kansas City Billings Portland Sacramento and Denver. I've been allowed to bring my own oil and filter for the simple fact I own a rarer vehicle a Chevy Cruze with 2ltr Diesel engine. The manager type indicated that they weren't allowed to use customer well because they do not know where it came from. Sounds like oil salesman ship on the part of Firestone at this location. Because the Quaker State brand you offer violates my engine warranty. Quaker State does not have a dexos spec 2 marketed in North America. It markets the older dexos spec 1. And the oil I presented was purchased at Napa it is a Dello 400 series synthetic 530 low emissions formula and is dexos spec 2. One of only 5 oils according to GM's website that is to be used in my engine. Also you didn't have right oil filter either. You had the filter for the 1.4ltr. Not impressed by the lameness of excuse and attitude. The policy is ridiculous. I also will no long have my employees take our company vehicles to this location for servicing. read more
