I have been coming to Cascade for over 5 years. I used to go to discount tire on Lancaster - until they were bought by a national chain. I've not had any issues with my service or the work being done. The most recent time I came In was to have my brakes checked out. I had just replace the rear brakes and rotors but something was off. I called for availability - told to show up at 9am - I was there at 830 and waited in my car while I took a call. 9 am - Cameron came out to greet me and ask how he could help. I explained I just replaced rear brakes and rotors - but the rear drivers side wheel was wobbling - I've done my own repairs for a while and have not had any issues. Cameron got it in and up on the lift and assured me they'd get it figured out. They even let me watch to see if I could help solve the issue. Turns out the rotor didn't completely seat on the hub which caused the wobble and awful sound. They cleaned the hub, the wheel where it sat on the hub and the rotor. There was a physical defect preventing a clean seating of the rotor. Mike and Cameron were clever and intuitive and were able to get both the rotor and wheel seated properly to eliminate the issues. All of this done without a charge. I am a returning customer and they treat me like a valuable, returning customer - that doesn't happen these days. This will be my shop for tires and help if I need it. I have 3 girls who will certainly need help when the time comes and Cascade will be my shop. Thank you, Cameron and Mike for getting it dialed in, when you really didn't have too and thank you Jamie for getting me in so soon! I was on a road trip home from the Oregon coast with over 150 miles still to go to get home when my car developed a loud screeching from the front wheel. I made it into Salem but didn't feel comfortable continuing into the mountains on the way home without at least diagnosing the issue. Three other shops declined to look at it, but Cascade was willing to take the time to check it out. It turned out to be a freak issue with rather than a serious mechanical problem, and I was able to make it home safely. I really appreciate their integrity and willingness to help when it mattered most. They were honest, straightforward, and incredibly generous with their help. Highly recommend. read more

My experience here was so much better than I anticipated as someone new to and unfamiliar with the area. My friend's dad recommended I try Cascade last month when my car was randomly screeching when I drove it. I called Cascade, and the person who answered was able to fit me into their busy schedule just a day or two after that. When I went to my appointment, the person who checked my car was professional, efficient, and went out of his way to check more than he needed to. I took my truck here about 3 weeks ago for an alignment. Part of the process is to check the condition of the suspension components. During this check they determined that my truck needed 1600 dollars worth of work. They said it needed new lower ball joints, tie rod ends, a inner tie rod end, and a wheel bearing assembly. I took note and went on my way. A few weeks later I had another shop check it out. This time I went to a shop that specializes in suspension. They determined that it did in fact need a new inner tie rod end, and thats it! No need for a wheel bearing assembly, no worn out ball joints, no worn outer tie rod ends. No 1600 dollar repair bill. In the end the repair cost less then a quarter of the price they quoted In cascades defense, the tech they had looking at my truck was pretty young, probably had limited experience, and honestly he shouldn't be estimating expensive repairs like this based on this outcome, unless they just want to sell unnecessary repairs. We were on a road trip all the way from Ct when our tire blew out in the highway. We put the spare tire on and managed to make it to this shop. Within 15 minutes they had got all of our information, changed the tire and checked us out. They gave us a great deal on the tire and were super nice! Avoid this place. The desk staff are nice and friendly. However, the people actually working on your car are technically incompetent. My parents had them rotate their tires. They overtorqued the front wheels badly enough to warp the rotors. A year or two down the line, I took their car in for a rotation (before I was about to replace the front rotors). The next day, I noticed that one of the center caps was missing, and that the remaining three were not snapped into place properly (this is on a '98 Jeep Cherokee). Now, a few months down the line, one of the rear lug nuts is missing. Oddly enough, the front wheels -- which I personally torqued after replacing the brake rootors -- are fine. I should have checked their work with a torque wrench as soon as I got home. I stood in the parking lot watching them work on another car. They used the pneumatic impact wrench to zip down the nuts in a circular pattern. Everyone knows that you should work in a star or skip-one pattern. I ignored the red flag at my own peril. read more

I can swing by to get air, check my tire pressure, repair a tire leak, and even replace a break-light bulb on the spot and without question or issues. These guys go above and beyond. So far, I have purchased a full set of 20" good years for the rig. They had the best price on 20" tires, which are not cheap as many may know, and being Goodyear has not hurt my feelings at all. They also rebuilt my entire front end on the Chevy including steering box, ball joints idler arm etc... Hard to write a review so close after a major service, as you might not know the quality of work until you go down the road a while, but for now it is 4 star based on my tire purchase and getting my repairs done quickly under the gun... read more

As Jeff mentioned, the folks at the front desk are nice, but... When I had the 75K maintenance done on my car they told me my tires were really worn. I didn't think that could be right because they only had about 27K on them AND Cascade had rotated them just a few weeks earlier and hadn't said anything about wear. So, I decided to return to Cascade. 1. The tires (Falken 912s) had 27K on them and they're warranted for 40K. 2. The fella at the counter said my car (Audi A4) really grips the road and wears down the tires. 3. He then offered me a $200 discount on a set of "store brand" tires. 4. When I asked about the warranty since the tires had barely made it to 70% of their expected life, he said that's where the $200 discount was coming from. So...they didn't do their job when I came in the first time and they acted like that when I came in the second time. - That's bad business. read more

I had oil changes and tire purchases here for some years, on the recommendation of a neighbor. Aggravations accumulated and they accelerated quickly. The tires they sold me wore out very soon and the carcasses wouldn't hold air. They rotated the tires every oil change and as one reviewer noted, they use pneumatic tools improperly. On my vehicle the hubcaps have to be put on only one way, or I can't access the valves. When I'd get home I'd have to jack up each wheel, loosen each lugnut by reefing on a breaker bar, put the hubcap on right, and then torque the lugnuts to spec. Then I bought two new tires and they put them on the wrong wheels. Finally, I needed new brakes, legitimately---I could hear the warning tabs clicking---and they told me the disks were thinner than spec---at 70K miles? I look like a professional man and they must have thought I was some yuppie who never picked up a wrench. I went home and put dial calipers on the disks. They were nowhere NEAR worn too thin. I was finished with them from then on out. read more

Cascade is the most incredible car place I've ever taken any of my cars. It is run by a wonderful and honest individual and all of the employees are so incredibly hard working and competent! I have a 17 year old (soon to turn 18) 4Runner. As you can imagine, it has a few issues, quirks and other "mystery" ailments. Tyler and Ryan are patient and work to find solution or, if it is something they don't do there, refer us to another shop that may be able to help. We also have a 10 year old 4Runner, a 10 year old Porsche and a brand new Audi. They take care of all of them. I would highly recommend them and have never had concerns over charges, payments or length of time it takes to fix whatever the issue or references to other shops. read more

I had a pleasant experience here a couple weeks ago. I came in to get a new tire to replace one that was flat, and an employee named Tyler was a great help. Originally they didn't have my size at the shop, but he ran across the street to a different auto shop to check for my size and quickly came back with the right fit for my Honda. My wife and I were making payments per my verbal arrangements with Tyler the Manager at Cascade Tire Pros for some previous work we had done. We had bought a 2001 Sebring convertible for my disabled father. This was his dream to have another Sebring as my father and my mother had one before she passed away and it was her favorite car that they had ever had. The Sebring we bought was the same make, model, and color as they had previously. The Sebring we bought needed a new motor. We spoke with the manager and he said we could make payments just like we had been on the previous work. We received a call from Jessie the mechanic on the evening June 12 stating the car would be ready the next morning by 9:30 am. My wife, father, and my daughter arrived at Cascade Tire Pros at 10:30am and they had to wait until after 1:30pm for the car to be ready. My father drove home. The next day he was out and about and on his way home and it stranded my father in 100 degree heat for over an hour. We took it back to Cascade Tire Pros they gave us a call in 2 weeks saying it was ready. My father went and picked up the car and yet again it over heated in 100 degree weather and left him stranded over an hour on the side of the road (My father has had multiple strokes so he is very heat sensitive and being out in the heat made him very sick). We took it back to Cascade Tire Pros they got a second motor and it was faulty (so it never got installed) they sent it back. Cascade Tire Pros then got a third motor and after completing the work on my fathers car the owner Ryan decided that he had spent to much money and the payment arrangements was no longer an option. Ryan further went as to refuse to allow me to pick up my disabled fathers VA permanently disabled plates. I explained they were not normal plates. They never expire and because my father is a disabled Veteran that the plates move from car to car that is registered in my fathers name. Ryan still said I could not have them so I explained again plates are not registered to the car they are registered to my fathers name not the car as with normal license plates. I still do not have the plates. This is not the way to treat anyone much less a 100% Permanently Disabled Veteran that has survived cancer; and now has Parkinson's due to his service to our country. read more

I bought new tires for my Highlander 13 months ago at Cascade Tire and routinely have my car and tires serviced there. In November 2013, while driving in L.A., I got a flat tire on the freeway which was caused by a nail. By the time I got over to a safe spot to change the tire, it was damaged beyond repair. The local Goodyear shop wanted to replace it for $222 but I called George at Cascade Tire and he arranged to have a new tire shipped from Northern Calif. to the shop in Palm Desert and they mounted it and I drove off with no charge. Upon leaving, the Palm Desert Dealer said my dealer in Oregon really took care of me. I AGREE! read more
