One star is for the lack of concern for their customers and the spotty consistency in the food. I have been here a total of 3 times. I thought the pizza was not bad but not really good either. My expectation of a meal out is that the experience should be better than the food but the food should be worth what you pay for it. Cascade Pizza and its management/ownership completely miss that mark. If you ask for something or have a concern about something, you are blown off. Mention that the restroom is out of paper towels or that there is ice on the side walk out side and you are treated as if you spit in their face. If the roof fell in and you got hurt, they'd probably deny you were even near the place. They are happy to take your money though! read more

That has to be hands down the worst pizza from a resturant I have ever had in my life. I don't have a problem with the pepperoni being under the cheese. I have a problem with the crust. The crust reminds me of the Chef Boyardee pizza in a box I ate as a child. read more

We are pizza crazy. We've tried every place in town several times. There are several we rate in the top tier but the number one pizza can only be found on Meridian Street. Cascade Pizza cannot be beat. The crust, the ingredients, the flavor, all are tops in our humble estimation. We try to save some for the next day but that is a challenge because when we leave the taste is still in our mouth and the aroma wafts out of the box in the back seat. The staff has always been very friendly and super helpful. The owners treat you like family. Price is reasonable and compares with other top pizza restaurants. BTW, the water is Bellingham's finest. The cheese bread was good. Glad my daughter ordered it or else I would not have ate. DO NOT DRINK THE WATER. The water taste like mold and so did the grinder. I ordered the Hawaiian grinder and it was not edible. This was an old watering hole my folks went to and thought I would recreate the golden days. I checked Yelp and 3 1/2 stars?? Bad pizza. Got the Meatlovers. They put a full strip of bacon lengthwise on every slice, so that it cooks with the pizza. This gives you a floppy piece of half cooked bacon that slides out from underneath the cheese on your first bite. Plus the surplus bacon fat soaks into the dough. Drove by Cascade Pizza and went in for the 1st time. Wonderful food and service. The friendly waitress (form Chicago I think) was great. She overheard my wife and I talking that it was our sons Birthday next week. 10 minutes late, our food arrived and his plate had a candle on it. WOW, we were very impressed. Food was very good. I usually would never write a review for a place that i've only visited once (figuring everyone has an off day), and the other reviews seem pretty high so perhaps it was an off day, but..... that was literally the worst pizza i've ever had. We ordered a greek salad and a greek pizza. They were anything but "greek". The pizza had a TON of black olives on it (possibly an entire can) and some sun dried tomatoes (weird). SO SALTY, we had about a piece before giving up. The "greek" salad was ice berg lettuce with a TON of onions and green pepper with the occasional tomato or kalamata olive, and it was light on the oil/vinegar dressing. It to top it off, it cost us about 34 bucks for these two items and a small kids pizza. We would have been happier at dominos and spent less than half the money. read more

We stopped here and will never stop here again for dinner. We arrived to dine in. Server took over 20 minutes to come for drink orders. We were ready to order food and she said she'd get our drinks and be right back to take the food order. 15 minutes later we got drinks. We wanted to order a large pizza and the waitress said they were out of large crust (makes me question of the crust is frozen...) so we ordered two smalls. Of course, they are out of small pizza crust, too. After finally figuring out what we wanted, we waited over an hour for pizza and never got any refills on beverages. The pizza tasted no better than a Papa John's pizza so if you like that, this will be a place for you, but watch out. The service is awful. We never did get a bill after waiting and waiting for the server. Tables around us turned over and the waitress even stopped to chit chat with a table behind us. They were not busy. We left enough money to cover the bill based on how much the menu listed and finally left. I read another review on Yelp that said, "if you're not a local, don't stop here. They won't wait on you." This is the only pizza joint that delivers to Clear Lake. The food is great, but they can't seem to ever remember to include the special request meat sauce when we order grinders even though we were very clear that the meat sauce was important. After the order was delivered ($70 worth of food) and the driver left (with an 18% tip), we discovered the meat sauce was missing. I called CP and they said they would send someone over with it. That was yesterday. No meat sauce. (Was going to freeze it for next time, but there won't be a next time.) Food is great; customer service is poor. Take your chances. read more

I've ordered pizza from Cascade Pizza twice in the past and never had any problems with the pizza. The pizza is good. However, If you have it delivered you may not get everything you ordered. Driver forgot change in the past after I told them I had a big bill and to bring change. They could not give me enough change, giving themself a large tip. This last time we did not get the soup we ordered. I also ordered pasta this time and it was awful. The baked lasagna was smothered in sauce but the only cheese was the slap they put on top. Having gone here as a child and having great memories of this place made me think this would be a great meal and good atmosphere to bring my family to. however this is not the case. hands down the worst food I have ever paid for. It was very cold inside the building and I kept my jacket on the entire time there. Ive had better lasagne from the frozen section at supermarket. I ordered the baked lasagne and ribs. It was so bad I have a hard time to think about it but i was genuinely angry at the quality of food and service having let down how I remembered this restaurant as a child. parking lot has cars in it but I'm sure there for the TV and beer as the food is horrible and no one that isn't drinking can stand being in such a cold room. read more

The first and last time we will ever eat at Cascade Pizza. For starters, the waitress was awfully bitchy. Then three of us ordered from the gluten free menu, mind you a gluten free sandwich is between 10 and 12 dollars. My son's order they didn't bring him what he ordered, when we had mentioned the sandwich was wrong the waitress was awfully snotty. My wife's sandwich in which she ordered the roast beef was like beef jerky. Not acceptable. On top of that from the time we ordered to the time we received anything at the table was the better part of 45 minutes, the amount of people in there was miniscule. There was only people at two other tables. John whom I'm guessing is the owner when asked about the roast beef that looked like beef jerky said that's the way it is. Well my mother in law went there for lunch and brought back a portion of a roast beef sandwich that was excellent, not beef jerky on a crunchy roll. My opinion is this, our hundred dollar tab for 6 people, and I don't think anyone of us was satisfied. Again a first and last time I will ever dine here, lesson learned. read more

This is not a review for the food. I have patronized Cascade Pizza since I moved here in 1984. For many years a good friend provided entertainment and drew in crowds for the business. But when I asked for a donation for his celebration of life, I was given a flat NO. I think that this is disrespectful to their former employee and so CHEAP.. Pretty disappointed with the gyro. The pita is chewy and it had two tomatoes and very little onion on it. It was also way over priced for the quality of the food. Would definitely not recommend this restaurant. Their delivery was fast, but not worth it. I personally don't know about the pizza, but if you are a fan of manicotti---YUM-E! I ALWAYS order it and there is lunch portion or a dinner portion ('though I always have to take at least half of it home, no matter the size).
