Prompt, friendly, professional service. Patched pants and fixed some buttons. Zipper repair was cost prohibitive.

They did a super fast alteration for my wedding and did a great job. I really appreciate the service!!

Excellent service. Highly recommended! Peter saved the day for our daughter's wedding. We had 14 large table cloths that needed to be pressed on very short notice and Cascade Cleaners got them done by the end of the day. They even transported them from their west side facility to the Halsey street shop so we could pick them up the morning of the wedding. Very fair price and the tables looked great. We couldn't be happier. Thank you Peter! read more

Not to good. Sadly they lost one of my shirts. And they still charged me for the fact that they dry cleaned the lost shirt. Way to expensive. read more

Terrible I tired this place out since they are close by my house. I can do a better job with an Iron. On top of that I just picked up my cloths 8 shirts 11 slacks. Got all them back but one of the shirts were not even mine. I was lucky the other person did not pick his cloths up I was able to find my shirt and was still charged full price. If you come here good luck but be sure to check your cloth. Especially if you are like me and take some cloth to the cleaners because 1 there were costly and 2 you want them to stay nice for some time. Lost a customer! read more

Called for prices to have two dresses hemmed and cleaned. Was told $72 and if it was going to be different they would let us know. We took the dresses in, had them measured, wasn't told a different price. Came back the next week and was charged $155!! After disagreeing with them and going back and forth they were willing to settle for $100. That was after being yelled at by one of the owners, talked on the phone to her husband, he hung up on me. We left without the dresses because we hadn't come prepared to pay that much. I recieved another call later yelling at me and he hung up on me again. These were my daughters prom dresses so today went in and paid the $100. The owner was extremely rude and all but threw the dresses at me. This is after 8 years of going to this dry cleaner...we will not be going back! read more

I brought a nice sweater into Cascade cleaners. I asked if they could hand wash it but was told dry cleaning would be a better option, even though the tag said to hand wash I trusted that they knew best. I went to pick it up and it was half the size and completely boiled. I calmly went back in and the woman working said she could stretch it out and get it back to normal. When I went back to pick it up for the second time, the sweater was still completely boiled and matted and only marginally bigger than the first time I picked it up. I calmly asked the man working what their policy was on damaged clothing. When I told the man working that this was not the sweater I brought in and he proceeded to try to sell me on the new "cropped fit" and make up excuses like he cleans too many clothes to keep track of it. He then offered me $40 in credit at the cleaners. I rarely do dry cleaning and that interaction didn't make me feel like returning to Cascade cleaners. I need a new sweater not dry cleaning credit! That sweater was one of my favourite sweaters, was a nice expensive one that is now completely ruined. read more

I go to church in this area and this guys was able remove spot that nobody could. They are going extra mile all the time when it comes to cleaning. Now my car fabric cover is like new. read more

This is the last time I use this business, 3 times I have dropped stuff off and its never ready on the day promised. Combine that with the fact they are way over priced and its especially irritating. Dropped off a Queen mattress pad to be washed and dried (didn't even have to be dry cleaned, but I didn't want to spend an hour and a half at the laundromat) on the 24th, promised for the 29th. Knowing past experience I didn't even try to pick up on the 29th but waited till the 30th and after searching for several minutes was told it still wasn't ready, promised for the next day. You would think that charging $35 it would at least be ready on time. read more

I am very unhappy with the service I got from Cascade. I took some drapes from one of my rentals to them and when I picked them up, they told me that they should not have been dry cleaned, but washed. They said they did wash them and charged me $30. However, when I got them home, the had holes in them and had to be discarded. It is true that they were inexpensive drapes, but they should have called me and given me the choice of paying for them to ruin them, or take them back and do it myself. They are supposed to be the experts and I think it was unethical for them to charge me instead of explaining that the drapes could not be cleaned without ruining them. read more

I took my husbands shirt in to be cleaned for a funeral. The man who helped me was very short and barely let me speak, then told me it would be ready in two days. I asked if there was any way to rush it (I was willing to pay an extra fee if needed) as I had a funeral the next day. He said I could come and get it in the morning. When I arrived he was on the phone, he remembered me and grabbed the shirt. He bagged it up (all while on he phone) and brought it to the counter and said "$2". (That's the first he spoke to me). I handed him my card and he rudely said "don't you have cash?" I apologized and said I didn't, but that I could go next door to 7-11 and get cash. He just ran my card while huffing the whole time. He handed me my receipt to sign and angrily said that he just lost $.25. I again said I was sorry I didn't have cash but I had said I could get it. I am appreciative that he got my husband's shirt done in time, but the service was so rude. I will NOT be returning with my husbands LARGE pile of dry cleaning I needed to get done. read more

I had two items that needed alterations. I was told it would cost me less than $20 total. When I got one item, it was $14 and they still weren't done with the other one. They had to replace a zipper on a hoodie because they couldn't fix it. They didn't tell me how much it would cost. When I went to get it, the price was $27 for a zipper. The hoodie wasn't even worth that much and they argued with me about not having to say anything about a new price. I refused to pay and left the hoodie there because they were so ridiculous about not saying anything about the price prior and fighting with me that I authorized them to charge me that much. I could easily had my zipper replaced at Nordstrom or another alterations place for half the price. I have never been so shocked by the price of alterations. I will never go back. read more

In a two words...they suck. If you are looking for work that won't be done on time, is over-priced and clothes come back with more stains than when you took them in this is the place for you. read more

I am so happy with Cascade Cleaners. I took my 20-year-old Forest Service uniform Gortex jacket to them to be washed and waterproofed because when I called REI (who sells them to the FS) about how to wash it they told me I had to buy special soap and special waterproofing stuff that was very expensive. REI said this was because Gortex was no longer waterproof after 6 years. Well, I was unwilling to spend the money for the products I knew I would never need again, so I took it to Cascade Cleaners. When I called to see if the coat was ready they said it wasn't ready yet because their waterproofing stuff had been ordered and hadn't come yet. When I called a couple of days later they said that they really didn't think it needed waterproofing because there was some kind of membrane on the reverse side of the fabric. So today, a rainy day, I went to pick it up. It is beautiful, just like new - and sure enough, rain beads right up on it. I am grateful that Cascade Cleaners was so honest with me and that they did such a nice job on my good old coat! read more
