When there was a mixup about a new window, they graciously replaced it, at no cost. For future work, I wouldn't accept anyone else, and have recommended them to friends and family without reservations

They spent two hours here. We were charged $700 plus $22 for extra "parts fees" for additional equipment needed. Everything required for the installation were in the box. How absurd. I asked for 2 to 3 inches above the first mantle where the edge of TV will land. They started on the second TV installed before they even asked me to see how the first one looked. If even to ask after the first rack was installed in the wall to say "your TV edge will land right here." I checked out the first one... way too far above the mantle. I stated they need to drill that first rack at 2-3 inches lower, they stated to me "it'll cost you extra." I said fine. So we agreed a second time the television needs to be just 2 to 3 inches above the mantle. Again, second TV, 5 inches above the mantle....The first TV was completely loose and I advised them the adjustment needs to tighten up, it's all loosy goosey. One of them told me you could not tighten it. I asked them, is that what it says in the user manual? No reply. They went back and said they "found how to tighten it." The installer said "each one of these racks is different so they're really hard to work with." Really? Well the receptionist on the phone who misquoted the actual job amount said that their installers do TVs "all day every day." Our Handyman and I aregoing to lower the second TV a couple inches without their help, I just wanted them out of my home. Our personal handyman contacted them and was able to bring the $700 bill back down to $400 as was quoted over the phone. And one more thing, one of them had not showered that morning. Old sweat is disgusting! These folks have a lot of nice signage on their vans of Mr.Handyman in the neighborhoods, but they have untrained individuals in the office and in the field. Buyer beware!

Austin did a two-week project that involved getting our rental ready to sell. Some of the things he…read moredid for us included rebuilding a cellar door, knee braces and porch ceiling and painting to match, removing and replacing cedar shake shingles, removing moss from the roof, power washing, laying new EVP flooring and installing trim, hauling away 2 truckloads of debris, repairing a fence, repairing a gutter downspout, replacing lightbulbs, repairing cracks in stucco wall, taking delivery of new appliances and supervising the installation and many other small projects. He was completely reasonable in price and completed every task without problems. We are out of town owners so we were especially pleased with the way he wrote up the scope of work based on our conversations and emailed it to us then followed up before beginning so we could go over each line item including cost for each project, breaking the whole job down into phases. He was personable, communicative and proactive (without being pushy) with suggestions about issues we weren't on site to identify ourselves. Overall, we were extremely impressed with his range of skills and his willingness to take on a wide variety of projects as well as his work ethic and fairness in pricing.
