We had Fred and Devin from Advanced Plumbing respond to our house to temporarily move our house water pressure pump for a flooring job. The contractor who was doing the flooring work highly recommended them to handle the task as well as to replace a deep sink in our laundry room. Both plumbers were polite, professional and very competent. When the time came to replace the pump after the tiling work was finished, they repositioned it into a much better configuration with the new PEX plumbing lines and connections neat, orderly and clean. Also, during the flooring job, a toilet that had been removed for the tiling work was no longer functional when it was replaced. Devin and Fred quickly diagnosed the issue and later acquired the correct parts to properly re-attach and repair the issues that had arisen. They worked late and insisted upon making sure everything was in perfect working order before leaving our house. I would highly recommend Fred and Devin of Advanced Plumbing to anyone needing plumbing work and would definitely use their services again in the future. read more

My condo worked with Seth and his brother for our pipe leak and I have nothing but positive reviews. They were professional, accessible, timely and extremely patient with us and our group needs. I highly recommend them for their honesty and work. read more

We've had Advanced Plumbing out to our home twice now for what we suspected was a leak from the upstairs bathroom. Turned out there were no leaks. Both plumbers spent almost an hour thoroughly checking and ruling out all possible sources of a leak and found there were no areas with moisture. It turned out to be an older PVC pipes contracting and expanding when running hot water which sounded very much like a dripping sound. They were so patient and accommodating, thorough and professional that we're hiring them to install a very difficult kitchen faucet. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!! read more

These guys are amazing super efficient helped us out with both of our homes, could t have done it without them! Fair pricing and on time definitely will recommend read more

They couldn't even come out to help me, and STILL I felt compelled to give them a 5 star review! I had a flood worthy leak in my garage on a Friday night after hours. I left a message and the kindest woman called me back. ( I'm sorry I didn't remember your name. I think she is the scheduler, and she was kind and informative and amazing.). She knew her guys were already slammed working all night on another job, but still had her tech (Seth) call me back to talk me through and see if he could help. He was kind and amazing too! I'm so disappointed I can't use them on this job ( due to their prior commitment), and while I REALLY hope not to need a plumber again anytime soon, if I do, my first call will be to these guys! Thank you for responding and for your patience and kindness. read more

I cannot recommend this company as I have credible concerns about their honesty, or in this case blatant dishonesty. I am currently working on my 4th full bathroom remodel and had them take a look at my current project. The estimator came back with a quote over $27,000! At first I thought it was a mistake generated on their system's end, but later confirmed with the back office it was not. To date I've received 4 additional estimates from very reputable plumbing companies, which ranged from 6k up to 13k max. So if you have endless amounts of money to throw away, then hire them. If not, I would steer clear from them at all cost. read more

I hired these guys to install a new kitchen faucet and to evaluate a situation with the bathtub flow. They were recommended to me by the property management lady. I am extremely pleased with their work and professionalism. Below are some observations: 1. They are clean, safe, friendly and easy to work with. 2. I requested ahead of time please let him remove shoes or use a shoe cover. There was no issue in complying, and he kept his work area very tidy. 3. He gave me a good understanding and insight into how to properly take care of the new faucet and what to do when the building's water gets shut off, etc. 4. They were true to their estimate, and he came back a second time to look at the bathtub situation. 5. These people are honest and very professional. They cost more than a handy man, but I appreciated getting a more specialized service. 6. They are a family owned business, and are easy to work with. 7. I recommend them. read more

Forgot about these guys. I gave a great review before, but when I had a sewer clog on a Sat last year I left a message with the owner and he never returned my call. Called office again on the following Mon, left message, and they never returned my call. Went elsewhere. I will not be waiting for a return call from them ever again. Update: Advanced Plumbing's response (below) is weak tea. Most people call a plumber for emergencies. Ignoring those yet getting the high $$ jobs doesn't work. read more

Sure, they were nice but unhelpful. Their ad should state that they DO NOT work on manufactured homes. Plumbers that do not work on them are plainly just 'snooty' aka too good or inexperienced to work on them. I guess those that own them are not good enough either. They told me to find someone on Craig's List. read more

This rating is just for the excellent communication I received when I reached out about a project. Their response time was the quickest I've ever experienced through Yelp messages. After reviewing my photo, it turned out I didn't need a plumber but a roofer for my water damage. If I ever do need plumbing, I would call on Advanced Plumbing again. They left a very good first impression on me. read more

First business to respond. Reasonable pricing with a military discount. Great work and extremely knowledgeable. Helped answer lots of questions about various plumbing concerns. Had a kitchen faucet replaced. Honest feedback about our garbage disposal functioning without need to replace. Looking forward to pricing on additional work to add a utility sink to our washer. read more

Advanced Plumbing - New faucet - Plumbing Near Me - Portland, Oregon

Scheduled our appointment a week in advance, got a call same day that it was cancelled. Rescheduled, tech showed up and spent 30 seconds turning a valve then asked for $175 dollars. Asked if it was possible to get a discount since he spent more time writing the bill than actually working on the plumbing but nope. Terrible scammy service, will never use again. EDIT: got a harassing phone call from them on a weekend demanding I remove this review. Stay safe everyone. read more

Our water heater died. We got referrals from our property management company, a friend who's a realtor, and a friend down the street. Advanced Plumbing was the first to reply. Erik asked all the right questions and when he had the details, he offered a bid and a time... the next day. We jumped at it. Our installer, Devon, with a fellow worker helping out part time, was meticulous in protecting our carpets and walls, quite efficient in completing a very challenging situation with the tank placement, and as engaged and friendly as I could ever ask. read more

And out, gave me a quote and got the work done quickly. Great experience! I'll be calling them again should I ever have plumbing needs!

Very responsive. Quality of work and customer service outstanding. I ended up having an issue (leak) outside the scope of the estimate and the fix was affordable...and the tech detected the location (in the wall) right away. Total bill was not much more that original quote even though there were other issues. The tech handled my "freak out" upon discovering the additional leak like a true pro. This is a good company and I'd call them again for a repair. read more

Hired these guys for a second project, they replaced the water supply valve for the main bathroom toilet. 100% pleased with their work once again. Next project already to call and get an estimate. They are our go to plumbers! read more

I had them come out for a leaking bath tub on the second floor of my rental property. I had them open up the ceiling directly below to assess and repair if possible. They said we needed to replace the bath tub, no other options. Upon getting a 2nd opinion, the 2nd plumber was able to fix the issue in 10 minutes (2nd plumber recommended by my close friend who is a GC, and this guy is the only plumber he will use). read more

I'm happy to say Advanced Plumbing just finished a spectacular job with my plumbing. I gave them a low rating since I thought they didn't include one of my faucets while the fixed my main line due to a leak. But it turns out I didn't turn the faucet head hard enough around and it turns out it had always worked all along. My apologies for giving them a poor rating. I'd definitely call on them if I had another plumbing issue. Thank you for making my day Advanced Plumbing! read more

I got several bids from plumbers to fix my main water line leak. Advanced was extremely responsive and seemed to go out of their way to get to me ASAP. I found them very informative and generally giving good advice on my situation, even when it didn't seem to be in their best interest businesswise. For example advising me to get three bids. When I compared the other bids that I got to theirs it seemed like they were not interested in adding the bill with additional items, expenses, caveats, etc. Eric was the main plumber I worked with, and he was extremely reliable, friendly, and knowledgeable. They got the job done on time, and once I passed inspection, they came right out and completed the job by filling in the holes with dirt and installing the meter box. I highly recommend these guys because of their efficiency, honesty, and reasonable price. You can't really ask for much more than that. David read more

The entire team was very professional and fast in responding to our plumbing problems. We got them respond to us while no other Plumbers could respond in timely manners. No wonder why company & Team is a 5-Stars Rating on Yelp Businesses Reviews. We'll definitely use you guys again in the future. Thank you! read more

Needed a plumber for a kitchen sink leak. Eric showed up at my door in less than an hour of posting the request on Yelp. Identified the leak and recommended replacing the faucet. Bought the faucet and replaced it quickly. Great service. All covid guidelines followed. read more

Originally Chuck and Erik came out to fix an outdoor faucet that had stopped working, as well as to give us a bid on a full bathroom remodel. We went with AP for the remodel. Chuck brings to the job decades of experience, diplomatic soft skills and artistic sense that is hard to come by. By the end of the project, we felt we were part of AP's family. We had special needs, which they were very sensitive with. Key thing to remember: they're a small family business. That means if someone calls in sick, they're short an essential member of the team. However, I'd prefer a delay any day of the week given that I always felt we were dealing with good people who would go the extra mile for us. For example, once Erik drove over to help us move a heavy package off the porch (the bathroom sink) and into the house. It was a Friday night, and there were plenty of other places I'm sure he wanted to be. But, he was good-humored and kind. Bravo, guys! You were amazing every inch of the way! read more

I was extremely pleased with Advanced Plumbing. They replaced a water main with a high slope from the street to the house. I intend to use them again. Eric responded to my request for an estimate literally within 10 minutes. They came out the next day and gave a FREE estimate that was $2,800 less than one of their competitors. The work was done on schedule and they took particularly great care to ensure they did not leave a mess. A great experience with a family-owned and operated business. read more

I was very impressed with the response time and pricing Advanced Plumbing provided. They arrived on time, kept me abreast of all things going on, and then cleaned up not only my property, but the street in front of the house that was left in a mess by another contractor. I was in commercial construction for 35+ years, 15 as a project superintendent and can honestly say, you will be well taken care of by Advanced Plumbing. We intend to bring them back for a future remodel we have planned. Tim Brown read more

Excellence in service. An all star team. Eric and Jessica answered all my many questions over the phone. Eric and Fred were dispatched to my property. They arrived on a timely bases. Very professional looking. Well groomed and pleasant. Fred took pictures of the before and after of the job. Great idea. Showed me how serious the situation was and made me feel comfortable that the repair was complete. Answered my many questions with extreme patience. Completed the work in the quoted time line and charged me an extremely fair price for all the work completed. Did not up sell me or attempt to pressure me into projects that 2 other contractors wanted me to do. THANKS for the service. I would use them again in a second. read more

FIVE STARS X INFINITY! A run of challenging luck led me to this exceptional company. My ancient pipes burst and after one week without water with the Eagle Creek fire looming, Advanced Plumbing was found on homeadvisor.com through a friend. They called ME the same day. Full disclosure? I was petrified until I listened to the voice mail Josh left on my barely working phone. He sounded genuine, professional, and just plain nice. They were swamped but showed up the next day earlier than expected. Connor got our water up and running and the price was more than fair. They'll be replacing the whole system, no question. They are THE very best. read more

We bought a new (used) fridge and needed to add a water line for the ice maker in the kitchen. Since I built houses in the past, I connected with Advanced Plumbing and provided a couple of pictures of the project, including the water line in the wall (after cutting a hole in the wall etc). They responded promptly with their hourly rate and an estimate of how long it would take, booking a time for a service appointment was easy. When the plumber got here, it was a slightly more complicated situation with a tight squeeze for the water line box, but he was fast at sorting out what to do and completed the work quickly and everything looks high quality. I requested to patch the sheet rock myself and this kept the overall price very low. Very pleased with the communication and work. read more

After the first company I tried didn't even bother to respond to the "emergency call", Advanced Plumbing picked up the phone after midnight. They came out on time, quickly diagnosed the issue and set to work, explaining everything as they went. They even explained why the last time I had the same repair done was now a problem again and what they would do to prevent the same thing happening. It's a rare lately to find people who care about customer service and these guys really do. I wouldn't hesitate calling them again or recommending them. read more

We requested several quotes. Eric from Advance called us back on Thursday. Friday his dad came and looked at the job. We wanted the water line from the street to the house replaced. Monday Advance started our job by wearing mask, covering the floors and were very polite. More then willing to answer any questions and made great suggestions. Explained everything and what to expect. Even checked for any inside leaks. The main work was completed Monday and the inspector passed us on Tuesday. Wednesday, Eric returned himself, covered our hole and even a small side hole. What a pleasure this company is to have work done. Absolutely recomen them for any pluming job You may need done. read more

I had a water leak in my service. I talked to Josh on Monday of Thanksgiving week for help. His crew responded within 2 hours and put in a temp line. Was fixing my basement toilet flapper and the main water valve got stuck. NO WATER! Couldn't get the valve unstuck and didn't want to risk busting the stem. Called Advanced, they contacted me back within 45 min. Came out about an hour after and turned it back on NO CHARGE! Other plumbers were busy and said Next Week! VERY HAPPY INDEED! read more

We had water leak on property but didnt know where. My contractor suggested replacing the backflow valve because of signs of corrosion. We hired Advanced Plumbing. Due to misunderstanding, the plumber ended up searching for the leak instead of replacing backflow valve. When I called the office about my backflow valve needing repair, the plumber came right back out and deducted my initial payment from total cost of job. That is solid business practice and integrity. Seth is a super nice guy. Lastly, their total cost was 15-20% below another bid. read more

They gave us wonderful service, and during Christmas week, amid the covid upsurge! We filed a Yelp request on a Sunday, five days before Christmas. Advanced Plumbing got back to us in an hour to come replace a hot water heater with a slow leak, and they came two days later, just as promised. Jess gave us a quote for a good price the same day we contacted them. Everything as promised, and more. Friendly plumbers, Eric and Fred. They did a good job and gave us useful information.
