Decent job. Very very poor communication, although professional when on the phone. Put gas vents in the middle of the wall- couldn't bother to route them to the attic or top of the ceiling. Unable to be present for city inspection- made me take off work to be present for inspection. Left holes all over the walls and took the drywall and wood from the holes and threw them in the trash- I had to reframe and buy more. Will NEVER hire them ever again. read more

It's very rare that I would get online and write a bad review for someone, but The Plumbers Inc repeatedly failed during our bathroom remodel so I really think this needs to be shared. We hired The Plumbers Inc to replace our shower valve, install a new bathtub, move our toilet, and install a new bathroom vanity. During the initial bid, they told me getting a permit was optional and I said I wanted it to be permitted. So, they wrote into the contract 3 times that they would take care of the permit. The plumber who did the majority of the install was not very communicative and just left the house without talking to us when he was done. He also kept the door open while sawing a hole in the subfloor to get to the crawlspace, which stunk up the house and was inconsiderate especially since we have a small baby. There were a lot of delays in scheduling as well. After completing the work and having gotten full payment from me, there was no word from them on getting an inspection. So, I reached out and asked if they were going to schedule one for the permit and they scheduled one for the following day. The inspection failed horribly. First of all, The Plumbers Inc neglected to schedule a rough-in inspection before the new floors/tiling was installed over the new plumbing so the inspector couldn't even see what he needed to approve. Secondly, he saw that they had installed the tub spout wrong. The Plumbers Inc apologized to me and sent out plumbers to take a look and to go into our crawl space to take pictures & videos to make up for not having done a rough-in inspection. They sent different plumbers than the one who had done the original install, and these new plumbers said that the original plumber had installed the bathtub so poorly that there were 2 leaks in our crawlspace in addition to the wrongly installed tub spout. In order to fix the tub spout since they didn't do the rough-in inspection and find out it was wrong before the tiling was set, we had to wait another week and they had to saw open my master bedroom wall to get to the piping without disturbing the new tile. They had a handyman come out to fix that and he used some sort of texturizing solution that smelled so bad all throughout our house that we had to leave the house for a few hours & open all the windows (with a baby during the pandemic, so we had nowhere to go). After all of this, the inspector came back and they failed it again because The Plumbers Inc hadn't sent him the photos and videos they took a week and a half earlier. So, I called them again and then it took another week or so for them to get the photos from the plumbers. Then they finally sent them. And it failed the inspection again!! The photos they sent showed insufficient support for the tub spout. And remember they had just sawed open my wall to fix that tub spout and then repaired the wall. So, I called The Plumbers Inc again and they said they'd get back to me with a plan. They never got back to me, but I reached out to the inspector the next week and he said he got a new photo from them that showed that the support had been fixed and the inspection passed. I said that's weird because they haven't been out here to fix this since they sent the photo that failed, and I haven't heard back from them. So, I called The Plumbers Inc again to try to understand what happened. The people I had been talking with prior were out all week. So I called them this week for an explanation and they said they accidentally sent the wrong photos the first time showing the tub spout before it was fixed. All in all, there was so much bad communication, unprofessional mistakes and delays. And all of this was found out because I asked about the inspection which they never even took initiative to schedule in the first place. If I hadn't done that, there would be a badly installed tub still leaking into my crawlspace and an open permit that was never inspected in their name. I'm very unhappy with the experience I had with The Plumbers Inc and would not recommend them.I read more

I got a quick assessment and estimate from them about a week ago and was told that my bathtub leak, that dripped downstairs into my Airbnb apartment kitchen, could require cutting through the kitchen ceiling to access the pipes of the bathroom upstairs, and then would need drywalling and painting the ceiling to put my Airbnb back in condition to rent. It was going to be a very costly venture, but I had resigned myself to having to do it. Cory showed up to do the repair today and found that it was simply a matter of epoxying the drain in place for a small fraction of the expected cost. First of all, please do not discount my 5 star rating. I am one of those people who only take the time to add a yelp review for things that are exceptional or horrible, and Plumbers Inc. was truly in the EXCEPTIONAL category. I got Judah's name from a plumber my neighbor highly recommended who didn't have time to come out. He told me he was trained by Judah and that Judah would be great. He was so right! Judah came out to diagnose our issues, and was quickly able to evaluate what needed to be done. He was on time, personable, professional and spot on with regard to the items we needed to have fixed. Just the fact that he was referred by another plumber should tell you something. Misty, who was also very personable and professional, called promptly from his office to schedule the required service, and she was also amazing in terms of making sure my scheduling needs were met and any questions I had up front were answered. It was obvious from the start of our conversation how much she cared too. We scheduled a time, and guess what? The repair team was on time too! They were even early....Bonus!! I had Jay, Robert and Craig in my home servicing our plumbing for several hours, and by the time they left, I really felt like they were part of my family. They not only fixed the several issues we had, but they were courteous, professional, and just real people who obviously cared about the quality of service they were providing, which in this day and age is often hard to find. They have been decent plumbers in the past. That is until today. They were supposed to show up at 8 today to replace a faulty valve that they had installed previously. When at 8:20 I called to see where they were, I was told I was not on the schedule, not only that, they tried to say that I called to reschedule when it seems they just moved the date on their own. We moved into a new house that had a leaky dishwasher. The sellers agreed as part of the closing to have that fixed (along with other little issues). The sellers called this place up to set up the appointment. When we confirmed the appointment, I called and asked the company to also write in that I would ask the plumber to help with a washer/dryer installation, and to charge that separately. He came, looked at the dishwasher for 2 minutes, and then said he couldn't fix it because it wouldn't be covered (saying we had to call an appliance vendor). I had him help me move the washer and dryer, of which he installed one (I had to do the dryer, later), and he left. I asked him to charge me alone for the visit, since he didn't do anything with the dishwasher. He said they would. We then find out they charged us, and the sellers, the same amount. When I called to say that it was double charged, they said once he was done with the dishwasher "the clock started again." Even though I had asked them to make that part of the visit earlier, they had to charge for 2 fictional visits. They wouldn't budge and claimed the sellers "knew" that would happen. Lost a customer, and I will most definitely inform the real estate agents, the inspector and anyone else who tries and recommend them in the future. read more

Had a leak in upstairs bathroom faucet. Plumber was helpful in getting us started on working with our homeowners insurance to get the walls opened and dried. Didn't do any examination on the first visit looking for the leak, claiming he needed the walls opened up to find it. Came back when the walls were opened up but the upstairs sinks weren't connected. Plumber left without doing work again because he needed the sinks hooked up. The leak was in the sink and was found as soon as we had a different plumber come out and fix it in one visit. Nothing was stopping this service from fixing the problem on the first visit, but they tried to string it out to 3 visits and charges. read more

He said he used to work at Plumbers Inc years ago and they really try to be honest and straightforward. So, we decided to try them out. For the past 16 years, we thought the backyard faucet was not connected to the rest of the plumbing since no water came out of it. My husband even went under the house and thought it was not attached. We called them to quote us the cost of hooking this up. We were fortunate to have Judah come out.
