John is extremely knowledgeable, communicative, and willing to research the unknowns on a project.

Great experience with Fusion plumbing. Reasonably priced, quick response and scheduling. They helped us with more urgent problems related to master bath shower and toilet. We have scheduled them for additional work helping to address some items identified during our home inspection. read more

Needed new water heater, got quotes from Fusion and Home Depot. HD was 20% less BUT only quoted the water heater and the install with the caveat that any addition items or work would be added on. I've worked with HD before, and have had no issue, so I think they are fine I have no beef with them. Fusion gave a detailed quote of all items to be replaced and the model of water heater. The quote included new water hoses (stainless steel) , new gas hose, new earthquake straps, the addition of an expansion tank (which I think is now required for code). Everything that the job needed was on the quote. Baring unforeseen issues (which happen) I knew exactly what the cost was going to be. Some of the items may have not absolutely needed replacement, but you don't want a $30 hose to ruin a $800 water heater (which is what happened to my last water heater and why we are here today). The solution provided was complete. HD may have had a less expensive quote, but it would have gone up, so I think in the end HD was not really a better price. Given the good reviews online and detailed quote at what I felt was a fair price, the job went to fusion. From inquiry to initial response was very quick, a couple of hours maybe. All communication was timely. Install date was set for three days after my inquiry. The day of the install they were a little late, but I got a text communicating that and an arrival time. I appreciated that very much. When they showed John introduced himself, very polite, nice guy. Then they went to work. They completed the job in a few hours. They left the work area clean and removed the old water heater. The install was beautiful, I know it's a water heater, but damn it was a clean install. Fusion gets five stars. There is no aspect of this job that I can suggest a need for improvement. Price: Five Stars, since the price was close to HD, I feel that I paid a fair price Communication: Five Stars, responsive and let me know they were running late Install: five stars, you can just tell that they paid attention to detail and did a clean job. I feel that I didn't pay a premium for that attention to detail. Attitude: five stars, John's a really nice guy Thank you Fusion, I really appreciate the quality of the job you did. read more

Plumbers John and Anthony arrived and went directly to work dealing with a drain stopper, the mechanism of which had corroded. They replaced the drain assembly and then as a courtesy, attempted to remedy the other sink which was draining slowly. They discovered that the drain on the second sink was also about to quit working properly due to age/corrosion and replace the drain assembly on that sink also. Everything is again working well. The cost was also very reasonable. read more

My gas water heater quit on me and I couldn't re-light the heater after numerous tries. I contacted the business and was asked to submit a picture of my water heater. John then contacted me and was very patient and thorough and was able to help me to get the heater lit again while on the phone. Genuinely helpful and had my best interest in mind. read more

We knew the plumbing in our 1912 craftsman home needed some tender loving care. Over the years, plumbers had been warning us that we needed an expensive and destructive total repipe. We fudged our way through until it got to a point where we couldn't put it off any longer. We reached out to several plumbers to get an idea of exactly what we needed and were so happy to hear John's creative ideas on how we could solve our problem. John and his team are honest, knowledgeable, skilled, reliable, punctual, professional, and great communicators. Working with Fusion Plumbing was easy and a great experience -- the best experience we've had working with a plumbing company. read more

An unfortunate turn of events has quite changed our opinion of Fusion Plumbing. After asking them to return for a much larger job they (for some reason) would not provide a written estimate. As the job entailed rather a considerable amount of teardown and planning we asked for the details of the hardware John was planning to use (again, to make decisions regarding tile replacement) but we did not get an answer. Looking back at their earlier "invoice" I realized it contained no parts/service breakdown and no rate/hr detail either, just a description of the job and a total. So, based on these observations we have decided to find a different company, which is too bad as this one had potential. (Further update) Hello Karen - here's A cut-and-paste from earlier, in response to John: "John, two things. One, my inquiry into the specifics of the hardware that would be installed permanently in my house shouldn't be a problem. Looking into the actuality of the dimensions of the pieces will be necessary to determine how it is re-tiled, and the quality of the components to be used is something that I personally will decide, based upon what the actual pieces used will be. And my concerns about the tiles are ones that I have that do not have anything to do with you, as replacing them was not your concern - however, I STILL NEED TO KNOW. Secondly, were this plumbing issue to come up in, say, real-estate context, we would need a written bid that included a breakdown of the labor and materials estimated to be used. This is not a strange request, it is a standard in a professional setting, and your inability to recognize it as such is a very disappointing to say the least. Please look into it. Have a great day." Now, if you'd like to continue, please feel free to do so. I have the rest of the receipts, as the kids like to say - except in this case it means the actual receipts (or "invoices" as you called it) showing the lack of information given. Should I also mention that I was quoted a rate of $179/hr, but no breakdown of the total was given for "hours" worked. I have that as well, if you'd like to continue this conversation for some reason and I'd be happy to post that. In fact, I will. One moment, please. read more

Fusion Plumbing - "Invoice" - Plumbing Near Me

I can't say enough good things about Fusion!! Karen was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with. She understood my urgency. I simply sent her a video of my issue and she was able to provide me with a detailed quote and book me for a next day appointment. John and Nick were respectful, knowledgeable and really efficient. They brought all of the necessary equipment/parts and made quick work of installing our new water heater. John provided a thorough tutorial before he left and made sure the space was clean and tidy. This was pretty much the exact opposite experience that I had with roto-rooter a few months ago. So happy that I learned my lesson and went with a local company this time! Lastly, I found the price to be a great value. I will be recommending this company to all my friends and family. Thank you! read more

We had a bit of a plumbing emergency - we attempted to DIY our shower fixtures but really messed up and had water shooting everywhere. :) Fusion Plumbing was able to come out within about 1-2 days despite a very busy schedule and fix it for us. He was also incredibly knowledgeable and happy to chat with us for a bit about our other bathroom. Such a pleasure! And of course our shower Is fixed and was done quickly! Such great service. Thanks again! read more

10 star company, my water heater broke and they took the time to call non- emergency clients to see if they could move appointments around so I did not have to wait 2 weeks for hot water, they came in 2 days! They arrived on time, explained everything to me, were professional, cleaned up after themselves, and even brought my trash can make from the curb for me. I would no hesitate to hire this company, you will not find anyone better! read more

Fusion Plumbing is a quality outfit! I had a Christmas emergency and these folks were the fastest, most responsive, and certainly the most caring and conscientious plumbing company I found. It was a pretty complicated set of issues so I'll keep this review general - but rest assured, these are the people you want on your team when you've got a tricky plumbing problem. John generously took the time to coach me through some immediate damage control measures, then came out a few days later to correct some defects in previous workmanship. Upon looking things over, he gently explained the seriousness of my plumbing situation without ever making me feel patronized or pressured -- this is important to me as a solo woman homeowner -- and then advised me of worst case scenarios before getting started. He and his apprentice Nick then proceeded to get to work fixing one problem at a time, explaining everything they did as they went along. I thought the rate was quite reasonable, especially considering how much extra time John and others at the company spent on hand-holding and educating me before the job even started. Then once they were off the clock and my bill was paid, he took the time to thank me for my business and set realistic expectations about what else needed to be done, as well as lingering to chat and answer unrelated plumbing questions I had. All in all an A+ experience - highly recommend! read more

The positive experience with Fusion Plumbing started with them offering a no-nonsense quote for my job. John and Nick arrived when expected, wearing masks (although I'm fully vaxed, them being masked shows respect). John and nick made quick -- but quality -- work of things. I'm looking forward using Fusion Plumbing's services again. Now that finding a good plumber is sorted, the search continues for a good mechanic ... read more

I was having an issues with my bath tub faucet and it was causing leaking in other areas. I have never worked with a plumber before, being a first time home owner. John and Nick were awesome. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone and will be using them again if anything comes up. read more

We had a massive leak with our main water line, water pooling in our front yard! John and Nick were able to come out same day to inspect. Super knowledgeable and explained their findings and options in an easy to understand manner. Day of new water line install, they were super professional. We had a plumbing emergency happen at my house which forced us to turn the water off to the entire house. After multiple calls to different plumbing companies, we were repeatedly told that none of them could get to us for three weeks or longer. That is until we called John at Fusion Plumbing. While he had an extremely busy schedule he was able to get to us early in the morning next day! He was very professional and friendly, and had my repairs done within 15 minutes or so. He did an excellent job of cleaning up after himself and charged a very reasonable price. I am extremely satisfied and will be using him for any plumbing work In the future! read more

Fusion pluming is the best!!! Honest, reasonable pricing and quick!! My water main broke and they took time out of their busy schedule to stop buy and look at my issue and set me up with a temp water service so I could have water while we waited for the permanent fix. They came out a few weeks later and fix in one day with no hassles. They out the ground back the way it was and you can't even tell they dug up the ground at all!!! Amazing!! read more

A year later after moving into our first home, John & Nick are still our go to plumbers! Over the course of a year they have fixed a running toilet, fixed a leak under our freestanding bathtub, replaced two old toilets and today they replaced an old kitchen faucet (to increase water pressure) and installed an instant hot/cold filtered water faucet. The icing on the cake is how good of a cleanup they do after the job is done. Thank you again John & Nick, until next time! read more

Great experience and would hire them again for sure! Arrived on time and I had a small list of concerns I wanted to go over. They dealt with each one, no problem and even came up with a solution for a loose bathtub handle that was missing a small internal piece! Also, very polite and I felt all of my concerns were heard with patience. Thanks Fusion Plumbing!! read more

John and Fusion plumbing are amazing. We had a leak in our water meter box, pretty bad but certainly not an "emergency". I hesitate to put this because many situations will not go like this due to the severity of issue- but within LESS THAN 24 hours after I contacted Fusion- John had made time in his very busy schedule, came and assessed and resolved the leak. Super professional here, absolutely recommend. read more

John was great! Very honest and efficient! Stated the disposal was actually okay, no repairs needed, but because we're selling our house and the buyers wanted it to be replaced, we did it anyways. Asked John to fix a few other random plumbing things and he quickly got to them! Would recommend and will call John for any plumbing repairs needed in the future! read more

We hired Fusion Plumbing to help fix shut off valves in all our bathrooms and the kitchen, replace some leaky faucets, and some other plumbing fixes (older house, old fixtures, prior owners bad installs, etc). The work was done very efficiently, cleanup was great, and John let us know exactly what he found, what he fixed, and why. It was a little more work than we initially thought it would be before we hired him because we found more we that we wanted/needed fixed and he was able to take care of all of it. We are extremely pleased with the work and overall communication around the job. And to have a trustworthy and friendly plumber to call when we need is fantastic! We would not hesitate to hire John and Fusion Plumbing in the future. read more

Prompt arrival and great service. Toilet was having issues they suggested a much better brand. They also took care of a leak when installing the new toilet. Nice clean work. Not easy to find great service these days but Fusion is great. I would definitely use them again in the future. read more

John and his apprentice notified us that they could arrive 20 minutes early to replace a copper elbow cracked from freezing. John successfully accomplished this lying on his side working through an opening he sawed through the bottom shelf in a cabinet. He and his apprentice then found the shutoff valves for both outdoor spigots In obscure locations in cabinets 20-30 feet from the spigot without causing us to feel like novices. The charge seemed reasonable. read more

Keeping it simple We had a pipe burst and had a group out to look at it and quote us on replacement. Given the dollar amount, we decided to make some calls. John took my call late in the day and immediately let me know he wouldn't be able to help us for a few weeks. After talking over the problem, John expressed concern over the price we were quoted and wanted to help any way he could. Two days later, he was at our house to get us set up with temporary service and will be doing the repair in the next few weeks. He's been nothing but professional since minute one and I can't recommend him enough. read more

We recently had three old, inefficient toilets replaced by Fusion Plumbing. Everyone I dealt with was super friendly, efficient, and personable. John is a great plumber, and communicates clearly what is going on. The price was quite fair, and included removal and disposal of our old toilets along with the install, new toilets and labor. All in all, we are very pleased with our new toilets and the terrific job that Fusion plumbing has done, and they'll be my go-to for any future plumbing needs. Highly recommended! read more

This was hands-down the best experience I've ever had with contractors. I had bought an older house with 60 year old plumbing and needed *major* work (whole-house re-pipe). The Fusion Plumbing employees were polite, on-time, efficient, explained everything in detail, and used quality materials and methods. I sought 3 quotes before I decided who to use, and while Fusion wasn't the lowest bid, they gave me the most confidence, and in the end were worth every penny. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. read more

My sump pump alarm went off and Fusion Plumbing was the only vendor to respond to me. Even though they were too far booked out (which means they must be very good at what they do) they continued to provide me with information and guidance on what my problem could be, even reviewed pictures. Turns out something must have temporarily adhered to my sump pump's float. All is well now and I will gladly contact Fusion Plumbing should I have future plumbing needs. read more

John and his crew were amazing ! We found a leak under our sink and we reached out to John and his team for help! They were responsive and came in the snow (which we know is a Portland hazard) to help us out and promptly get us a quote. They quickly scheduled us to come in and do the job a few days later and arrived to start 10min early! We truly appreciate the hard work and effort this team put in and we will be recommending them to our friends and family when a plumbing job is needed. We won't hesitate to call on them again on future projects for our house! Thanks John and Nick! read more

I don't know yet if we will be using their service or not but I did want to comment on how impressed I am with the response so far. I requested quotes from several companies, not only did this service provide an exact model suggestion for the replacement but they provided a clear breakdown of the work involved and expected overall cost. They provided this quote quickly, politely, and the price is pretty close to what I would have expected so I don't feel like they are taking advantage or quoting high or low. Whether or not we choose to use them right now I definitely foresee us using them in the future. We were very impressed by their professionalism and transparency. read more

I can't sing the praises of Fusion Plumbing enough. I had a handy person come to fix a drippy faucet and they fixed the drip but messed up the pipes so the faucet no longer could attach. My house is closing in a few days and I was in a panic. I called them first because of their reviews but I didn't know when I could get an appointment. I called 15+ other businesses that claimed to be 24/7 emergency and none of them could come. They were able to come same day and they fixed a VERY complex issue quickly and efficiently. They also tested it several times to make sure it worked. This was the only win I've had in weeks. They came in, they were professional, knew their stuff, and saved the day. I can't recommend them enough. Seriously though, they are the BEST! read more

We called Fusion Plumbing to save us from every homeowner's worst nightmare: the water main broke and it was our responsibility to get it fixed! I cannot say enough good things about Fusion Plumbing, We started with a leaky toilet that John helped me with over the phone before he was able to come over. Having a plumber share his knowledge over the phone so that I could prevent any further leakage was amazing and so helpful. That kind of service is rare these days and was my first clue that Fusion Plumbing was going to be great to work with. John and Nick installed 3 new toilets and 3 new sinks, replaced a shower valve and bathtub drain, and fixed a leaky shower and tub. Unfortunately between appointments for this work we had a completely unrelated water incident (my DIY mistake) that caused a complete tear-out of one of our bathrooms. John and Nick were so patient about working with us over several appointments for the various plumbing needs as we put the bathroom back together. John was great with his recommendations and explained everything he was doing and why. Karen was so kind about helping us with scheduling and taking my frantic phone calls and texts when our bathroom flooded. They are knowledgeable and efficient, and John's expertise is invaluable. They are kind, professional, show up on time, have fair pricing, and obviously take pride in their work. Thank you John, Nick and Karen for working with us to get everything done! We will definitely be recommending you and calling you with our future plumbing needs! read more

This is it. If you're looking for a thorough, professional, friendly plumber who also communicates clearly you won't do better than John and his team. We had a litany of issues with the house we recently purchased. John quickly identified the root of each issue and installed the new disposal. The price was very reasonable and they left our house as they found it.
