I was treated to this place and greatly appreciated the hospitality, the food on the other hand not so much. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. This is the first Mexican restaurant I've ever been to that served me dry steak. VERY dry, and the portion was also tiny as you'll see in the pic. Service was slow considering we were the only party in the restaurant for the entire time we were there. Which on a Sunday afternoon isn't a good sign. All of the servers were friendly and the place appeared clean so those are pluses, but I don't plan on making a second trip; they unfortunately have to go on the bottom of my list of Mexican restaurants in the area. I wish them much success though, as a cook you can have an off night- even when the restaurant is empty. Seating is plentiful the space is very large and looks like it could easily accommodate large gatherings (20+) without difficulty. It seemed even bigger because it was completely empty so there's that. But our table of of nine took about 25 mins before everyone had everything they ordered so if it IS busy i can imagine it'll be a while bussin down chips n salsa whole you wait. I've been trying to get the family to Casamigos for 2 years, and today we finally made it. After church, about 1pm. We walked in and were immediately impressed, truly, at how spacious it is inside, like wow spacious. And very pretty colors and decor. And one more unique thing: 80s music playing!! We're thinking, my GOSH, I hope the food is as good as the decor and music choice they play is... We have 4 in our party, ages 56, 52, 17, and 16. And we all love Mexican cuisine, and are well experienced in what a good and propper Mex experience. First, we hit the restrooms to wash our hands. Very clean, amazing. Off to a great start. Large ice water for all 4 of us. This is too good to be true. Old school right there, and as it should be at ALL restaurants. I ordered the Burrito Chipotle Texano. Nice size, delicious fillings and sauce. It was a banger. Wife got the filled half pineapple thing, really good flavors and seasoning. The 17yo girl got the San Jose burrito and absolutely loved it. She loves 80s music too, so she was like in a dream, how perfect it all was. She said the new standard for Mexican has been set for her, at Casamigos. Lastly, the 16yo boy, who is a eating machine and who loves Mexican, got the mixed fajitas. It blew his mind, he loved it, and said we have to come back again and again. 9.8/10 This place is an EXCELLENT value with great authentic tasting food/drinks while my server who was a younger male had very good customer service. I had an asada burrito ($17) that was tripled the size of Chipotle's while the huge horchata ($5) which was all very delicious especially the chips/salsa. We been here multiple times including today on my birthday, mentioned it was my bday and they gave me a huge hispanic style ice cream for free that was plenty to share with my family. The given wait time was 10-15 minutes but me and some other unsatisfied customers sat in the waiting area unhappy as I don't know what. We came here to celebrate my God son graduating from high school. We came when it wasn't super busy and for that I am grateful. There was no wait for our meal and the food was very flavorful. I love Mexican cuisine so I will certainly be adding this location to my top 5 list in the 757. Bathrooms were clean as well as the establishment itself. Service overall was a 10 as well. Lush Lunes While the service was great, I have to admit that the food was pretty average (at best). Perhaps, we visited on an off day, but I've had better Mexican food from other places in the area. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. I'm not sure if the restaurant was trying to be green (ie energy efficient), but I was a bit disappointed that the restaurant didn't have heat on a day with 30F temps. We had to eat our meal while wearing heavy coats, which made the experience kind of uncomfortable. While the food was just ooookkkk, the margaritas were pretty good. Decided to check this place out for Taco Tuesday. Initially I wanted to try the soft serve margarita but I opted for the margarita with sangria which tasted like juice, disappointing for about $14. Tacos were ok, not as authentic as Texas Mexican tacos.The carne asada and carnitas were not very flavorful, but the pastor was good. I also tried my friends birra taco it was lacking some flavor too. Food was brought out covered in aluminum foil to maintain the heat which I thought was great! Casamigo quesadilla comes with the option of Steak or chicken with cheese. Served with pico de gayo and sour cream on the side. I was a little disappointed that the quesadilla didn't have onions and peppers. The staff is okay some of the waitresses and waiters only speak Spanish so it's makes it a little difficult to order. Greeted at the door with a large sign mentioning tips rather than "welcome!" Food was good but no service. Got napkins at the end of the meal. Wait staff took the order then never saw them again. When you place tips ahead of customer service you lose customers. Found a far better place with great wait staff and without forced tips. This is no 5 star dining environment but the customer service and over all cleanliness of this location makes up for the lack of stable tables and matching decor . Upon entering this location we were immediately greeted and seated , they even asked what seating we preferred. The chips and salsa were just okay . They give you a small condiment cup of salsa which didn't seem home made . food was pretty good !! The portions were good as well . My margaritas flight was absolutely amazing and I definitely recommend you try it frozen ! My only recommendation to this location is to fix the wobbly tables because I found it kind of annoying to grab the table in panic every time my toddler leaned on the table . read more

My new favorite authentic Mexican restaurant! It's tucked away in an unassuming strip mall off of VB Blvd. The restaurant itself is super nice, new, and clean in the inside. The staff is very friendly and sweet. The background music is a nice touch and at the perfect volume. The food and margaritas are beyond reasonably priced and sooo good. I ordered one of their specials, the Molcajete, for dinner. The presentation was beautiful and the food itself was delicious. The sauce in the dish was to die for. I wish I'd ordered their for 2 option because my hubby couldn't help himself from eating my dinner too. He got the taquitos which were excellent as well, crispy and well seasoned. We tried the pomegranate, prickly pear, and skinny margaritas. All three were refreshing and everything you want in a margarita. We will definitely be back! Came in for dinner. Upon entering the staff was all very nice and welcoming. The restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated. The food though was a different story. The salsa was very bland and had no real flavor and the chips were stale. We got the carne asada fries which came out hot and flavorful. No complaints there. The food did come out quickly, but maybe they should have not rushed it because most of the food came out cold and flavorless. The quesabirria was cold and meat had no flavor and neither did the consommé, very disappointing. The side enchilada was also cold and the cheese had not even had a chance to melt. The only thing hot besides the appetizer was the beef chimichangas. The beef was flavorful and came out hot but maybe because they had to deep fry them...idk. The beans as well that came with meal were cold and again you could tell because the cheese was not fully melted on top. Overall very disappointing meal, but all the staff was very nice. read more

The decor is festive and the restaurant was very clean and spacious. It can accommodate large groups easily. I have never seen this happen in my life. This place has good drinks but I would not go back for the food. My friends tacos were dry and they literally just served her meat!! No cilantro or onions.
