I will first start off by saying our waiter was SO nice and friendly! He was very attentive and helpful. Food came out fast. The side of cheese did was very good. The white sauce and salsa were good as well. Sadly both of our meals we definitely not great. The only thing that held any flavor was the chicken. The beans and rice had absolutely no flavor. The taco salad was lacking in flavor as well and the avocado looked very unappetizing.

This has always been my family's favorite Mexican restaurant! We love the wide, spacious booths and the bright atmosphere. Each table has warm, crispy tortilla chips and salsa. Definitely make sure to ask for the "white sauce" to accompany the salsa. It's AWESOME! Plus the menu provides both quality and quantity. You can get a huge plate of foods with sides for such a cheap price. The food also comes out so quickly, the wait time was so short and it ensures that you a warm plate of food. Make sure to check this place out!

I wish I could rate them higher because their customer service is EXCEPTIONAL!! However the food for my taste preference, lacked seasoning and the entrée I ordered was not very authentic. I'm giving them 3 stars because it was very clean, the ambiance definitely had a Mexican vibe - (Mexican music), and the customer service was outstanding! The waiter was very accommodating with the food options, but the food was just not that great. I ordered a lunch special with a Chile relleno and a taco. I was able to get a soft corn tortilla instead of a crunchy shell. It had ground beef and tasted like Taco Bell. The chille relleno - authentic Mexican stuffed pepper, usually stuffed with cheese and coated in egg. Was not stuffed nor coated with egg. It was served plain with enchilada sauce and cheese on top. The rice was cooked well, but was very bland. I thought I would be able to balance with the beans, but they were bland too!! I was disappointed in the food, but I won't ditch them quite yet. I'm going to give them another shot and try something else...and ask for salt next time.

MY POST IS RIGHT ABOVE THIS IT WOULD'T LET ME ADD THE PIC WITH THE POST SAID IT WAS TO LONG !!!

Waiter was quick to bring us chips and salsa and also take our drink orders. I tried their large Midnight Margarita (10/10) I loved the flavor and it was STRONG! For food, I was craving steak, and saw Steak El Amigo (10/10) on the menu. It was very flavorful, tender, seasoned, cooked exactly how I wanted it, and more than enough food for me. The steak was topped with cheese sauce, shrimp, fajita vegetables, peppers, and mushrooms. Also came with a side of rice and beans and tortillas. Def my new go to spot for sure. Already planning to go back next Tuesday, this time, to try some tacos and other drinks! My overall rate of experience : 10/10

We were sat immediately around 630 on a Friday evening. We received chips and dips before I could even sit down! Our server promptly greeted us and drinks were ready within minutes. So far, so good. For dinner, hubby had the Vegetarian E which came with a burrito, quesadilla and chalupa, daughter had the kids quesadilla with beans and I initially selected the shrimp bowl. Our food took about 15 minutes. Both quesadillas were barely warm and the cheese wasn't even melted. The refried beans were loaded with red pepper and too spicy for my child. My shrimp bowl was overwhelmed by cheese and aioli that I couldn't stomach it. Our server kindly let me order something else so I selected the shrimp taco salad. It arrived shortly thereafter but was also so greasy it made my stomach turn. 2 stars just for service. 0 for food. Overall, this meal was an unfortunate waste of $50.

We started the night with drinks: I went for a cold Modelo, while my friends both ordered margaritas, and wouldn't stop raving about how good they were! For appetizers, we shared the Union Trio! Fire roasted tomato salsa, creamy guacamole, and queso served with crisp tortilla chips. All three were fresh and delicious, a great way to kick off the meal. For my main, I mixed things up with a taco trio! Carne Asada (marinated steak, onion, queso fresco, avocado, cilantro), Chicken Tinga (marinated chicken, refried black beans, avocado, greens, queso fresco, cilantro) and Blackened Mahi (mezcal pickled onion, red cabbage, red pepper pico, chipotle sauce, cilantro). The blackened mahi was my hands down favorite. It was super flavorful with just the right amount of heat. My friends tried some awesome dishes too! One had the Coconut Curry Mahi (blackened mahi, jasmine rice, edamame succotash, with a rich coconut curry cream sauce) and the other had the Duck Confit Taco (with cherry salsa, pickled carrot salad, and cilantro-lime creme). Our waitress was phenomenal and definitely suggested great choices. If you're in the area and craving something a little more elevated than your average Mexican spot, Union is absolutely worth checking out. Great food, tasty drinks, and a stylish atmosphere!
