This was my first time at El Toro Loco. The restaurant was really clean and had a calm atmosphere. We were greeted by a nice Spanish lady. The chips came out hot and the salsa was delicious. I got the combination plate with two hard shell taco, burrito, enchilada and horchata. The horchata tasted like instant powder horchata and no cinnamon. The combination plate was all beef it was kinda bland to me the beef didn't have much flavor so everything tasted all the same.

I didn't go here for food. I went here for drinks. The drink menu is super limited even though they have a full bar. My thought it that maybe they don't have a bartender. I asked for a mojito and they said they couldn't make it. Other than that I had chips and dip. There wasn't many people in the restaurant, I actually wasn't sure if they were open or not.

    New Margaritas. Delicious!

Delicious new margaritas! Always like the food here. Quick services. Fun staff. Dinner was great.

I stopped in here for a quick bite after my class. I'm not super familiar with this area so I relied on the Yelp reviews. Overall, I was disappointed. The food was pretty bland, and service was spotty. We were there close to closing and they literally started mopping the floor in front of us while we were eating and I slipped on it trying to get to the bathroom. It doesn't take more than a few minutes to wait until your customers leave - it was still within their posted hours, not like we stayed after and kept everyone. I don't know that I'll give this place another shot when there are so many good Mexican places around.

So yummy we had to bring my mother in law! Once again was not disappointed so yummy hot fresh food! For $35 can't beat the prices! We got there at 11:30 food came out fast was a slow Sunday morning. Ordered the same thing again arroz con pollo, chicken fajitas, and my mother in law ordered nachos with jalapeños on top. All dishes were delicious with great portions! Only downfall today was the waiter just never really showed up we waiting 15 minutes for our check.

Salty mushy rice..the salt was just too much to eat. After a few forkfulls mixed with refried beans. My mouth started to sting and I just gave up. The enchilada was just ok, dry seasoned grown beef that would not stay ok the fork. I ended up mixing the ground beef with the refried beans. Just disappointed with this lunch I tried the Chile relleno.. old, mushy and tasteless. I thru most of this meal in the trash and ran for a tums.

I came by after work and wanted take out. I had to run into Food Lion so I ordered, ran to the grocery store, and then picked up my food. My dinner was ready in 10 minutes (I went around 5:15 pm). I had been at its previous location but stopped going since it was difficult to get in and out. This new location is a lot easier to get to. The food was packed nicely. It was super delicious! I ordered the arroz con pollo and it was super cheesy! My food was hot and worth the short wait. The restaurant is very safe from what I saw. They had QR codes for the menus and everyone was wearing masks and socially distanced. Next time I will make sure to eat inside the restaur

I forgot that I ordered delicious beef nachos from them about a year ago as well. The portions for both nachos and enchiladas are enough for a filling meal, and the order was fulfilled as requested. It is quite convenient off Mount Pleasant Road and Centerville Turnpike, so if you're in area check it out. **I forgot to take pictures but I will update this review when I order from them again!**

It was a busy work day, so less noise is always appreciated. Our server Eduardo G. was friendly and attentive. The chips were fresh, along with the large bowl of salsa and smaller bowl of white sauce. The draft beers were cold. We enjoyed our dinner orders of the Enchiladas Supremas and Chori Pollo. We had plenty to take home for another meal since the servings were a good size. This location of Los Primos in the Mt Pleasant Shopping Center in Chesapeake is family friendly and has lively music playing at a low-moderate volume. We like the service and atmosphere, and we appreciate that we don't have to shout across the table when we're enjoying dinner and conversation.

Thhe service is on point! The Ambiance is on point! The attentiveness the drinks I cannot complain! I'm a margarita girl and the Margaritas here did not disappoint especially their Ranch Water. My favorite here is the classic quesadilla and you can choose your own protein. The first time I chose chicken and this last time which was on Sunday I chose the shrimp and added some fresh jalapenos... divine! My husband loves the fajita tacos I think that's going to be his go-to meal When We Dine here. The parking not an issue at all plenty of parking it does get busy around 6:30 7:30 on the weekend and on Wednesday which is 899 fajita nights. Now I will admit you on this night in particular I did get the steak fajitas I wasn't a fan of them but I still tore them up! The quantity that you get for 899 super super duper:] So pack your patience if you come on one of the busy nights. Today being Tuesday as I'm typing this review it's Taco Tuesday so tacos are a dollar and 50 Cent after 5:00 p.m. so I'm sure this night is going to be busy. Nevertheless it's worth visiting and priced just right! Have fun and enjoy life :)

Waiter was quick to bring us chips and salsa and also take our drink orders. I tried their large Midnight Margarita (10/10) I loved the flavor and it was STRONG! The steak was topped with cheese sauce, shrimp, fajita vegetables, peppers, and mushrooms. Also came with a side of rice and beans and tortillas. Def my new go to spot for sure. We were sat immediately around 630 on a Friday evening. We received chips and dips before I could even sit down! Our server promptly greeted us and drinks were ready within minutes. So far, so good. For dinner, hubby had the Vegetarian E which came with a burrito, quesadilla and chalupa, daughter had the kids quesadilla with beans and I initially selected the shrimp bowl. Our food took about 15 minutes. Both quesadillas were barely warm and the cheese wasn't even melted. The refried beans were loaded with red pepper and too spicy for my child. My shrimp bowl was overwhelmed by cheese and aioli that I couldn't stomach it. Our server kindly let me order something else so I selected the shrimp taco salad. It arrived shortly thereafter but was also so greasy it made my stomach turn. 2 stars just for service. 0 for food. Overall, this meal was an unfortunate waste of $50.

We started the night with drinks: I went for a cold Modelo, while my friends both ordered margaritas, and wouldn't stop raving about how good they were! For appetizers, we shared the Union Trio! Fire roasted tomato salsa, creamy guacamole, and queso served with crisp tortilla chips. All three were fresh and delicious, a great way to kick off the meal. For my main, I mixed things up with a taco trio! Carne Asada (marinated steak, onion, queso fresco, avocado, cilantro), Chicken Tinga (marinated chicken, refried black beans, avocado, greens, queso fresco, cilantro) and Blackened Mahi (mezcal pickled onion, red cabbage, red pepper pico, chipotle sauce, cilantro). The blackened mahi was my hands down favorite. It was super flavorful with just the right amount of heat. My friends tried some awesome dishes too! One had the Coconut Curry Mahi (blackened mahi, jasmine rice, edamame succotash, with a rich coconut curry cream sauce) and the other had the Duck Confit Taco (with cherry salsa, pickled carrot salad, and cilantro-lime creme). Our waitress was phenomenal and definitely suggested great choices. If you're in the area and craving something a little more elevated than your average Mexican spot, Union is absolutely worth checking out. Great food, tasty drinks, and a stylish atmosphere!
