Horrible food! Horrible service! Do not waste your time in going. Disgusting. The plates were dirty. Very disappointed!

Bacalhau assado served on a carving board with smashed potatoes and broccoli rabe! Amazing!

Service was excellent and our dinners and appetizers were absolutely delicious!!! We enjoyed the garlic shrimp , chorizo and fried calamari for our appetizers. Their specials including the red snapper was perfectly cooked. 5 star service!

My dinner

HORRIFYING experience. As I was eating dinner with my family I found a LIVE cockroach on my plate. If that wasn't traumatizing enough the employee behind the counter was extremely rude and treated us as if it was no big deal, with absolute disdain as the cockroach ran away freely since no one even tried killing it. Please beware of this place. Disgusting, dangerous, absolutely repugnant and revolting. Still in state of shock. Filing a complaint with the Health Department.

We came here on Friday before the big snow storm with my family to celebrate my fiance birthday. It was a surprise dinner that I had planned. We got there and of course no parking what so ever to be found. Newark Ironbound is busy as is, but on a Friday night that town is busy. The parking lot was busy because the restaurant is also hosts parties and there were two parties that night. Plus the restaurant was opened so it made it ultra busy to find parking. They had set out a table for 12 of us because it was a surprise dinner. Everything went well. I ordered the Salmon with rice and veggies. It was really good. My Fiance had the Shrimp with rice. It was a Pallea style rice. The Sangria was so good, I think i could have drank that whole pitcher, but i had to share. The staff did a good job in coming out to sing happy birthday to her. They brought out a delicious Tiramisu. We had an amazing time.

This restaurant deserves a six star rating. We came in with a Groupon deal for 2 but our services were not discounted at all. Exquisite and elegant, this restaurant has the ambience that you want to dine in for your special event. Food and service are excellent. The waiter changed our plates after appetizer even they were clean and unused. I really enjoyed the clams on a half shell, so fresh and yummy. We ordered two Paelhas, one seafood and one with meats. At the price of $21, both of them have lobsters. Can't say more great things about this restaurant. And another added bonus is: there is a parking lot across street, so you don't need to worry about your car while enjoying your food! Last, I want to give Groupon a five star for having such a great deal!

Whether you eat in the take out area or the dinning hall, food is delicious. I've eaten the lobster with crab stuffing and always good, also have had the short ribs and never disappoints. Shrimp in garlic sauce always tastes fresh and even though it's an appetizer I usually have as an entree because it's so much.(good to share). As for the sangria no complaints, always satisfying! The service is always great and they're always accommodating if there's a big party.

Amazing food and service! We ordered the salmon, halibut and Octopus entrees. We also got the sorredura for dessert and hands down the best dinner place in town!

Great wine selection with good prices.

This is my go to place to have a great meal for a great price. The chef always cook up delicious daily specials that amazes me every time.

Casual and upscale dining, good for a business lunch during the day.

There was a large party going on when we arrived, and therefore, they had an abundance of delicious roast suckling pig!

They had a wide variety of food, all ranging from beef, pork, chicken, seafood, and some vegetarian options. They had an extensive wine menu, and my boyfriend joyfully enjoyed a glass of wine. I got the brazilian fried chicken, which was extremely flavorful, and i was surprised there wasn't any breading on the chicken as typical fried chicken does. I much preferred the no-breading style, which I think is the Brazilian way. I would have preferred a boneless dish, as there were quite a few pieces with bones, and it was pretty oily at the bottom of the dish. It came with two very large sides, and totaled around $25. 100% would recommend this dish, but I do think at a lower price point, this could make do with just one side, instead of two, as the main dish was quite large enough to fill me up. My favorite part of this meal was the garlic butter bread that they provide for free. It comes out extremely fresh with lots of chopped up garlic, which is my favorite part of garlic bread. It was a great way to start the dinner off. The service was great and the waiters were extremely attentive. They regularly checked up on how we felt about the food and filled up our drinks. The restaurant was pretty empty while we were dining, but the space was laid out very nicely and the decor was beautiful. Would come again if it wasn't so far!

The food is probably the closest you can get to actual Spanish tapas but what i love most about this place is that everythings got flavorrrrr For our table of 4 we got CROQUETAS with their house cured chorizo- very good POLLO FIORENTINA- chicken was so tender and packeddd with flavor! BARRIGUITA- plentiful serving for a tapa, we loved the potatoes it came with too CHICHARRON DE POLLO- flavorful chicken and easier to eat than you think TARTAR- delish but small Chipirones- sooo delicately breaded you can barely tell, was great COSTILLA A LA PLANCHA- plentiful for a tapa, we recommend cooking for longer since its traditionally a tough cut of beef SAUTED VEGETABLES- tastey and not mushy thankfully! MILLIONAIRE CAIPIRINHA for my drink. was soooo good, not too sweet and not quite as sour as a margarita, was perfect for me!

When I was there, they had a DJ playing, and it added energy without being too loud or overwhelming. The Service was very good, the waiter answered and helped with all our questions. The food was absolutely amazing really flavorful and well done. Just be a little prepared that most dishes come in smaller portions. But the quality definitely makes up for it. I ordered the paella, and it's easily enough for two or even three people and it was well worth it. Really delicious. The drinks were also definitely worth trying while you're there. The only thing I wasn't big on was the desserts they didn't quite live up to the rest of the meal. But overall, great atmosphere, excellent food, and a fun experience. I'd definitely come back.

The Mixed Meat option had several different preparations of beef and a sausage served with a salad, french fries, and white rice. It was a generous portion of meat in a large plate. For dessert we all had the Serradura (Portuguese Sawdust Pudding) which was made with a meringued cream, whipped cream, and crushed cookies mixed together. Very delicious, not too sweet and not too filling. All around there was brick, stone and solid wood. I felt like I was in what I imagined a restaurant in Portugal would be like back in the day. The servers were friendly. I gives me the sense that it is a good place to have a range of events - from a business lunch to a celebratory party. There is lots of space in the restaurant with different rooms. One room seemed specifically set up for large parties whereas another room was set up like a typical restaurant. Our party was able to relax and enjoy ourselves without ever feeling any time pressures from the staff. It was quite an enjoyable experience.

The meal also came with rice, beans, plantains, and pico de gallo, which were all delicious and complemented the meats really well. We also ordered mashed potatoes on the side, which were fantastic. We brought our own birthday cake, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. They cut it for us, came over to sing, and really helped make the celebration feel special. We had such a lovely time. Overall, it was a first-class experience with amazing food and warm hospitality.
