We got married at Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery in August of this year, and our guests still haven't stopped raving about it. From the breathtaking architecture and lush vineyards to the impeccable service, every detail felt truly magical - it was beyond anything we could have imagined. My husband and I were searching for a venue that captured that rustic Italian/Spanish villa charm - we loved the idea of a wine country wedding, but many Napa/Sonoma venues were completely out of budget. Then we found Casa and it was everything we hoped for and more. We decided to DIY almost all of our décor (so much so that we arrived with a U-Haul!), and I was nervous about how everything would come together. But the staff at Casa Real completely exceeded our expectations. They were incredibly organized, patient, and accommodating, which took so much stress off of us. Despite hiring external day-of coordinators, our on-site coordinator, Jenny, was a standout. She was warm, proactive, and genuinely invested in making our wedding perfect. Every interaction with her felt like we were in great hands. The entire Casa Real team was also very flexible and professional when working with our external vendors -- everyone from our live painter to our photo booth, rental company, and DJ felt supported by the venue staff. One of my favorite moments was during cocktail hour: we barely had time to grab bites ourselves, but our servers made sure we were taken care of. They literally trailed us with hors d'oeuvres and champagne so we could enjoy the food and drinks without missing a moment - it was such a thoughtful touch! Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the flawless flow of the evening, the gorgeous grounds, and the outstanding hospitality. Casa Real's grand ballroom felt romantic and elegant, and the staff's professionalism helped preserve our vision while keeping everything seamlessly on schedule. If you're a couple hoping for a venue that values service as much as style, I cannot recommend Casa Real enough. They went above and beyond for us and helped create the most memorable day of our lives. The venue itself was very nice, as the outdoor venue was small and intimate. The indoor venue was massive, and I really enjoyed my experience. The food was some of the best I've had at a wedding! In fact, the steak came out perfectly cooked. I was shocked, as usually steaks at these venues are overcooked. The potatoes really wowed me. They were some of the best potatoes I have had. I just attended a wedding here and wow, I was so impressed. I've been to quite a few weddings and have to say this venue is top notch. It feels so luxurious and very Europe-esque. From inside to out, everything is so well maintained. The space is spotless, and the landscaping and plants are clearly cared for with attention to detail. We had our dream wedding at Casa Real! Our day-of coordinators, Heather and Kelsea, were incredible--they kept us on schedule, paid close attention to every request and detail, and thoughtfully included drinks and appetizers in our bridal suite, which was so comfortable and perfect for resting between events. During the early planning process, Carly also offered delicious suggestions for our signature drinks, and our guests loved the hors d'oeuvres and dinner. Many friends were so impressed that their families are already recommending the venue for future weddings. The Sun Garden was dreamy and magical, with delicate trees and the peaceful sound of the fountain as I walked down the aisle. I also loved the uplighting in the Grand Salon reception room (we customized the color to light pink and it added such an elegant touch)! The team made our slightly smaller guest count of around 90 feel perfectly accommodated. We thought Casa Real was simply the perfect venue size and feel for our anticipated guest count (330) but what we realize now is that Casa Real was the perfect venue for us! We wanted an outdoor ceremony & indoor reception, and they also have an indoor area backup for ceremony. We had our spring garden themed wedding April 2024 and it couldn't have been more perfect! We worked with Kelsea to plan all the details of our wedding and she was such a pleasure to work with and guide us through the entire wedding planning process. We did outside catering with one of Casa Real's preferred vendors, Le's Kitchen, to have food our guests would be more familiar with. With Casa Real & Le's Kitchen combined, we continue to get compliments to this day about how beautiful & thoughtful the venue was, how great the food was, and just how fun the entire wedding day was!! The team at Casa Real is so experienced with throwing any type of event at their venue, you can book them with full confidence that they will do everything in their power to make your wedding day one of the most memorable of your life! Here for daughter's wedding and the venue is just so beautiful! It was an outdoor wedding with the dinner and festivities inside. The wedding couple planned everything and Lexi was their event planner and everything went pretty smoothly. It is a beautiful place to have a wedding with the garden outside and the inside, is also spacious and magnificent. I just wish they had a microphone so that we could make announcements about what is going on as our daughter's photographer asked us to physically gather up relatives for one family photo and so it was to me a bit stressful to go and look for our relatives outside and inside when we only had a few minutes for only one huge photo shot. And the desserts were served without the whole room knowing it during the performances so within 10 minutes, all 300 desserts were gone! This, however, could have been avoided if we knew what was going on. Perhaps our daughter needed to have the DJ make the announcements about family photos and desserts and where they would be located. I'm sure it wasn't the responsibility of the event coordinator but I just wish each phase of the schedule was communicated more through announcements. Hubby also left his dress shoes in his dance bag and we called the next day and they were found as well as other items that the wedding party left at the venue. This was by far the best wedding food I have ever had, everything was so good from the appetizers to the dinner courses to the late night treat. I couldn't even stop eating to take a picture! When it comes to choosing a wedding venue, there are so many options, and my daughter and I certainly looked into lots of them for her wedding. However after meeting with Kara via zoom, we all were so impressed. Then when we visited the venue in person, it was even more impressive than her zoom photos. Another factor is how much support they provide for the wedding. They take care of all the food and drink, the ceremony and reception is at the same location, and they provide a wedding coordinator. With so much taken care of for you, we decided to forego a wedding event planner, and everything turned out beautifully. THE STAFF: I can't say enough about how supportive Kara and Tammy (our wedding coordinator) were. They responded to all our questions quickly and always in a very friendly manner. They are real pros. THE VENUE: The venue is situated in a beautiful vineyard that's just breath taking for sunset photos. The bridal suite is large and with lots of mirrors, a bathroom, and tables and chairs. They also provide champagne and snacks while getting ready. The sun garden is a picturesque spot for the ceremony with an arbor with vines at the altar. However, they also have an indoor room for ceremonies. The grand salon is a huge reception room with a wooden bar. They provide standard linens and utensils (which really aren't bad), but you can upgrade. THE FOOD: A few months prior to the wedding, the couple is invited to taste all the different meal options. Everything was so delicious, they really had a hard time choosing. When I finally tasted the food at the wedding, I was so impressed. Every course was 5-stars. The guests are fed from start to finish. Upon arriving, we were treated to mimosas and juices. During cocktail hour, there were hors d'oeuvres of shortbread, duck liver pate, smoked bacon, chorizo, mini cuban, grilled cheese, and french fries. Then dinner service begins, and the entrees were short rib, roasted chicken, and Thai coconut curry. Then there is a quesadilla bar for a late night treat. These are all options that the couple chose. THE MEETINGS: We met twice with Tammy, our coordinator. She was fantastic and walked us through all the decision points, where we wanted each decor item, how many specialty dances, how many speeches, etc. By the end of our final meeting, there is a detailed itinerary down to almost every 5 minutes. She also drew up layouts of each room based on our preferences. We couldn't have done it without Tammy. THE REHEARSAL: Tammy was there at the rehearsal, and she pretty much coordinated the whole ceremony. Who walks first, how fast to walk, how to exit, etc. With all the planning meetings and rehearsal, everyone was ready for the big day. By the wedding, everyone was relaxed and enjoyed every moment. My husband is from California however we both currently live up in Washington, and exhausted all avenues to find what we were looking for in Washington. We decided to look in California and came across Casa Real and instantly felt it was the one. Julia went above and beyond, exceeding my expectation. She was very forthcoming, easy to talk with and made you truly feel special. Beautiful Venue! I didn't know this place existed in Pleasanton, what a gorgeous venue. This past weekend we attended an outdoor wedding ceremony for my step son in their elegant walled garden. The wedding was originally planned last year during the pandemic. Things changed, plans changed and Covid year made an impact on everything in everyone's lives but I'm glad this was the chosen location by the couple. The wedding planner did a great job. This beautiful venue is a Mediterranean-style villa located in the Livermore Valley Wine Country that is surrounded by lush green vineyards and olive trees. The outdoor spaces included a large fountain and a garden that was beautifully trimmed and landscaped. Definitely plenty of spots and backdrops for perfect photos (you know how Filipinos love pictures). Inside, the venue had an entrance hall with high, dramatic ceilings, fancy chandeliers, and beautiful furnishings. This room with gigantic doors is a grand place that was perfect in welcoming guests. This was where guests waited before we were led outside to the Sun Garden where the ceremony was held. Restrooms are also located here. The reception was held at the Grand Salon. It was very spacious and can hold large receptions. We had a wedding party of about 90 guests. The couple had a photo booth set up at one corner, DJ and open bar. There was plenty of space for a dance floor. The room had hand-carved limestone arches, porcelain tile floors, golden walls, and huge windows. Yup! I will start by saying whether you want to get married indoors or outdoors, Casa Real is one of the most romantic venues for a wedding! My husband and I recently got married here and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out and how involved and supportive the staff was. Special kudos to our coordinator, Alyssa. When it came time to book a wedding venue in 2019, Casa Real became my dream and nightmare at the same time. Since it was the first venue that we toured I instantly fell in love with the big wooden doors, sun garden, dressing suite and the grand salon. Every venue that we toured after didn't compare to the "WOW" factor I felt when I saw Casa Real's grand salon. I mean it's in the name "GRAND". Out of all the venues, Casa Real was at the top of our budget and I spent days writing down costs from other venues and pros and cons. After a lot of conversations, my husband and I decided to have our dream wedding on 10/30/2020 which was then postponed to 10/29/2021. Good thing we had 2-3 years (thanks to covid for making us postpone our wedding lol) to save and make it everything we ever dreamed of and we have no regrets. STAFF: Casa Real is so beautiful and the staff that we had the privilege to work with, I mean "WOW" again. The amazing staff is simply amazing, professional, caring, prompt, organized and everything you could ever ask for and more. They go above and beyond for their couples before, during and after your wedding. There are just no words to explain my gratitude for Virginia and Kara for helping me plan my special day. They are there for you every step of the way. They answered all questions whether by phone or email. COVID: When we booked our venue in 2019, we didn't know that 2020 would be a rough year for all brides. Casa Real made it so smooth and easy to move everything except I do wish I got 10/30/2021, but another covid bride beat me to it. The date really meant a lot to us since that was the date we got engaged and would have marked 3 years. Other than that, I loved every moment working with Casa Real and have nothing, but my highest recommendation to any bride or groom that has the $$$ to spend to have their wedding here. Also to note, most of our interactions with the team was via zoom or emails. VENDORS: Other things to mention is that they do have a preferred vendor list, you could go out and explore other vendors, but don't waste your time because all the vendors are the best at what they do. From the list, we booked Spintronix, Fantasy Sound, and Tyler Vu! I'll be posting their individual reviews on their page. FOOD & DRINKS: Moving on, Casa Real has the best food. My guests couldn't stop talking about the delicious food and drinks! We had pistachio crusted cod, wine braised short rib and Thai rice noodles for the entrees. For hors d'oeuvres we selected Parmesan thyme shortbread, smoked salmon, ahi tuna poke, and mini Cuban. The salad was mixed greens with strawberries and for late night treats we had churros! They were a big hit that it was gone within minutes. Lastly, the drinks were really good. We had a full bar to keep our guests happy. Just keep in mind, if you have any guests that throws up on the property, there's a fine so keep it classy. PARKING: A lot of parking for guests MENU TASTING: Since our wedding was in October, our menu tasting was in April! Everything was so delicious. Lesson learned, don't feel inclined to finish your plate. It's a lot of food. I made the mistake of eating everything to not waste food but then when it came to the filet mignon or wine braised short rib I didn't eat any of it because I was so full. COST: It's $$$, that's 3 dollar signs With everything said, if I could have a second wedding or when I plan my vow renewal in 5 or 10 years I want it at Casa Real! The venue is not just beautiful, but the staff and all the wonderful people I worked with were so kind, responsive, and made sure that everything, down to the last detail, was perfect. From the day I first contacted the venue, the staff were so kind to answer all of my questions and concerns. They even accommodated our schedule to have a tour during the weekday, though it wasn't their usual time. Emailing back and forth and making decisions about the wedding was so seamless that it was kind of scary not to be worrying about everything. Leading up to the wedding, I was assigned Antonella as my day-of coordinator and I couldn't have asked for a better person for the job. She was quick to respond to emails and make any adjustments when last minute changes occurred. I especially thank her for the day of the wedding because I didn't have to worry about ANYTHING. The reception at Casa Real and thanks to Antonella and all of the staff, the reception went so smoothly that, again, it was scary. She made sure me and the groom were comfortable and handled all the little details. What an amazing person to work with! As for the catering, everything was top notch. I have friends who came from SoCal (the land of boba drinks) and they were even impressed by the boba bar that we added to the wedding from Casa Real. All the guests were fawning over the appetizers and were even asking for more even after it all ran out. The reception food was amazing, especially the pork shoulder. The dessert was even more amazing! I still dream about the creme brulee shortbread and mini blueberry cheesecakes. Overall, you can't get anything better than Casa Real in my opinion. If I could redo my wedding all over again, I would still go with Casa Real because that's how good my experience was from the very beginning up until the wedding day. read more

My husband and I had our wedding at casa real recently - the venue was beautiful, and the party went perfectly. We really credit the super experienced, polite, and professional staff for making our whole event go so smoothly. We toured several venues for our wedding and ended choosing casa real because of how gorgeous the venue is and because they host so many weddings that they have everything down to a science. Lots of options for food and treats, drinks, and rental items. We worked with Kelsea and Kara, and both of them were so supportive and helpful all throughout the process. The only drawback to hosting your event here is you have to be prepared to pay for all their experience! It is not a cheap venue and the fees add up. Also, while they do have lots of set options for you to choose from, it's not possible to deviate from some of their rules. For example, I wanted to have a family style dinner, but they could only accommodate buffet or plated. They are also strict about what food can be brought in and by whom, and leftovers aren't allowed to be taken home. Aside from these small things here and there, casa real is a truly beautiful property with an efficient and professional staff who really seem to enjoy making your special day a reality! read more

First, if you are newly engaged, congratulations! Second, if you are in the process of looking for a wedding venue, there is NO need to look any further because Casa Real will help you plan the wedding of your dreams! Not only is this place beautiful as it is (which means you won't have to spend a ton on decorations and flowers), but it has the BEST TEAM in the wedding industry! When my now husband and I were researching venues for our wedding, we came across Casa Real and immediately fell in love. Our goal was to find an all-inclusive venue that included everything you could think of from a day of coordinator to a fully open bar to furniture/linens/china, glassware, and flatware, a dressing suite, a suggested vendor list, champagne toast, and most importantly, we wanted a venue with delicious food and Casa Real offered all the above. Although, at the time our budget couldn't quite afford it, we kept Casa Real as our #1 choice while we looked at other venues. We waited to visit Casa Real in person to rule out any other possible venues first, but once we saw it in person, we knew we were going to make our budget work! Tammy and August were our first contacts and they assisted us with scheduling an in person visit as well as choosing a date that worked within our budget. We chose non-peak season (March 2024) and although it rained on our wedding day, we didn't have to worry about it since our ceremony & reception were indoors. Once we chose the date, it was time to get to work! At first, I was a bit hesitant about not hiring a wedding planner, but I quickly became confident that Casa Real would take care of us as they were extremely responsive and helpful throughout the whole process, from start to finish. Any questions I had were answered promptly from one of the team members and they were amazing enough to also suggest ideas when I needed it. Some may think "too many hands in the cookie jar" might mess things up, but this team is so on top off it! I never felt like anything was missed or forgotten! The communication and strong attention to details within this team is incredible! We saw firsthand how amazing this group is when we attended our menu tasting. It was like watching superheroes in action. We were assigned a coordinator about 6 weeks out from our wedding and although it was short lived, Julia was great and assured us that her replacement would take care of us and sure enough, she was right! Kara, Jennie, and Casey worked together to ensure the last few months of wedding planning was smooth for us and we had the utmost confidence that they would make our wedding vision come to life! We couldn't have asked for a better team of people to help make our big day so memorable! Our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was, how beautiful the decorations were, and how detailed everything was. My husband and I got Married at Casa Real last year in February. Without sounding cheesy, it was genuinely the most magical day. The staff helped make that happen. There are so many details that go into planning a wedding, but Kelsea and others at Casa Real helped so much with that. They were always so easy to get a hold of, and they were beyond kind, warm, reassuring, and patient. When we first went to look at this venue, something just felt right about it, and when we decided to book it, there was no feeling of doubt that we made the best choice. Everything about that day felt perfect and seamless - the ceremony, cocktail hour, the drinks, the food... just everything. We booked Casa Real for our wedding April 2024 and were very happy with the venue. We checked about a dozen places before deciding on Casa Real, but chose the venue because the location was good and the facilities were gorgeous. Most of our guests felt that the venue was the most beautiful one they've seen. We had an outdoor ceremony in the courtyard. Unfortunately for this year, the cold and wetness meant that the foliage was a little lower than we hoped, but still nice. The team themselves are very communicative and professional; very quick to respond. Make sure to use the resources provided by the web portal, because we didn't and regretted it :). The last month event coordinator that the venue provides is also super helpful, and Jennifer did a great job at helping us solidify our day-of schedule. Biggest things to keep in mind with regards to Casa Real is that it's fairly expensive; there's a guaranteed minimum on the amount you pay. This usually isn't an issue if your event is very large, or if your food comes through Casa Real. We however, booked catering with a preferred vendor and many of our guests were unable to attend; we ended up having to find ways to stretch and meet the guaranteed minimum, such as booking with Casa Real for the wedding cake. That said, we actually were extremely pleased with how good the wedding cake turned out. We ordered the Silver white cake and requested that it be on the less sweet side, if possible, and it ended up being absolutely delicious and much better than the options provided by the bakeries on the preferred vendor list. read more

If you are looking for a venue for your dream wedding then you should definitely check out Casa Real! They made sure everything ran smoothly and was always there for us to answer and help us with the million questions we had. They made sure the wedding had everything we wanted from tons of delious food to a last minute tea cermony and even snowballs! The venue was breathtakingly beutiful on its own, which helped us with saving on decorations. The team was very helpful throughout the planning stages and the event itself to make sure everything ran smoothly and on time and they even made sure we got a chance to try all the food! They made sure we were well fed throughout from a champagne cart to platters of each item during our cocktail hour. We even had a full spread of apps and each of our specialty drinks ready for us at our sweetheart table! They even have an in house bakery that made our delious cakes. We wanted to make sure everyone had a slice of cake at our wedding and the bakery was able to help us make custom centerpiece cakes for each table and also provided us with a wonderful spread for our dessert bar! It was a magical day that we will never forget and it was all thanks to the great team at casa real. My friends got married here over the weekend and it was gorgeous! From the guest perspective, everything seemed so flawless. ~Tons of parking for wedding guests. ~Beautiful outdoor ceremony away from the tastings going on at the winery so it was quite private. ~Wonderful cocktail hour and timing seemed to go very according to schedule for the main doors to open into the reception hall. ~Bartenders and staff passing hors d'oeuvres were so friendly and helpful. ~All of the food was really tasty from the unique appetizers to the spinach salad to the huge main entrees. ~Bathrooms were easily accessible and immaculately clean. Overall, it was such a gorgeous venue and I think they made an excellent choice hosting their wedding here. read more

My wife and I had our wedding reception at Casa Real in June and worked closely with Genevieve and Kara as part of the venue's coordinator team. The event was perfect. Everything including preparation, the three-course meal, the open bar, the venue layout, the event execution, etc. seemed to go exactly as planned with very little effort the day of the wedding. I can go on about every little detail for Casa Real, but ultimately I think it comes down to one of Genevieve's last statements to us before the big day. She told us that our only job the day of the wedding was to relax and enjoy the celebration. Casa Real easily deserves 5 stars because they allowed us to do just that, and we truly got to enjoy our reception thanks to their hard working, organized, professional, and personable team.
