What a great find while traveling in northern Arizona. The decor in this restaurant is beautiful. The staff was amazing! And the food....the best refried beans I've ever had in a restaurant. I highly recommend Casa Perez!!! read more

7/3/26 Update: Better this time but no adult beverage or dessert so actually somewhat affordable. Just under $22 (before tip) for me on a 1 item combination with beans & rice and a soft drink. Complimentary chips still so that's good! I had 3 people help me, so that was fun They also have a fun little shop of handmade pottery and other items.. all from Mexico I believe. Bien hecho! Including photos of the 3-piece ocean set I bought for my wife and I. Thank you. read more

Amazing spot! Salsa is top notch and the burrito! I couldn't stop eating it and was full until the next day. The service was great and all the people there are very nice. The place itself is standard Mexican restaurant and nice. Very good depot and lots of seating. Highly recommend read more

We have enjoyed their food for many years locally but tonight our kids' meals (which were 2 small chicken tenders with fries and a drink) was $15 per child. A lemonade was $5. Food was OK at best. I'm afraid they've definitely priced themselves out of the quality they offer. Unfortunately we won't be back. read more

We where there yesterday for lunch. The food was great as always. I got the bill and paid it via the server. I left a cash tip on the table with the signed bill. When got a alert from my bank this morning, a $10 tip was added. I will be visiting the restaurant this afternoon to hopefully get it rectified. read more

Went to this restaurant yesterday and ordered two beef tacos. The worst ever, Taco Bell could have made better tacos. Plus their soft drinks are totally over priced. They would make good money at half the price. read more

This is a great Mexican restaurant! We try them out wherever we travel, and we will come back to this one when we can. We get it take-out in these COVID times and we were mighty happy when we opened up the bags and containers. Fresh tortilla chips with plenty of yummy salsa is always a sign of good things to come. My husband's Chili Colorado was delicious: the meat was tender and the sauce was, in his words, delectable. My Camarones Verdes were equally delicious, with tasty shrimp in a yummy sauce and loaded with veggies. In the years since, we have come back again and again, and are never disappointed. read more

First time here. The food here was excellent. The Mole is a little bit peanut forward, which I like. Ceviche was fresh and quite limey which I also love. My wife very much enjoyed the Molay chicken enchiladas. Shooting size was huge. Decor is stunning in the restaurant and the service was excellent. read more

Tasty food and a huge menu. We got one green chili plate lunch special and one Tres Amigos from the regular menu. Both dishes were very good sized portions and we took some home. The staff brought out in-house made chips and homemade chunky salsa right away. The salsa was very good, spicy and with large onion chunks. The chips were fine, not salted - which is good though they were not hot. My husband really liked the green chili pork and my Tres amigos which has shredded chicken, green chili pork and red chili beef was very fresh, though it could have had more spice, especially the chicken. Save some salsa for your chicken! I like that both dishes had a generous helping of pico, plus yummy beans. We also had a flan and it was very thick and rich with a strong caramel sauce. My husband thought it was one of the best flans he has ever had. Our server was also very attentive, checking on our water and food status often. read more

People in Prescott recommended this little restaurant to us so we made a point to make a pit stop on our way out of town. Restaurant is very nice & clean with fun decor! Service was friendly and attentive. I ordered the carnitas lunch special that came with rice & beans. It was also served with their homemade flour tortillas which are small and thin, but good. Carnitas were just okay. The refried beans were good, but Spanish rice was also just okay. Chips were very good and table salsa was flavorful and chunky. Overall, meals were average. I would return to try other menu items. read more

Honestly, this is a place where we can always rely on delicious food, friendly and attentive staff, and wonderful service. My husband and I come here a few times a month and it never disappoints. This time, we sat in the bar because that was first available and there was also a company Christmas party going on. Staff were incredibly busy... yet, we were still greeted, served, and drinks and chips refilled often. Were ordered the burrito de mole and chimichanga fundido. Both were great and large portions. Some of our other favorites are the burrito loco, chipotle enchiladas, and casa Perez fajitas! Love coming to the Dewey location! read more

My wife stopped by with her friends and ordered a dinner to go for me. She order enchiladas chipotle which come with two chicken enchiladas and a large serving of refried beans and rice. Of course had a little shredded lettuce sauce and sour cream. The chicken was absolutely tasteless overcooked shredded chicken that shredded wood shavings would beat in flavor and texture. The rice and beans were standard fare that were not better than a frozen tv dinner style. The service was great and atmosphere very good. Otherwise this would be a one star review. There are literally ads of great places to eat. This just isn't one of them. read more

We have always enjoyed going to Casa Perez in Dewey for years now but it was different today. food still great except for the FOIL found in my husband's food. We reported it to the waiter and he seemed concerned but no one else was interested . we were brushed aside like it was no big deal. No one came to speak to us about it, no one apologized, nothing. we reported it to the cashier and another waitress but all they did was g us a stupid smile like we were children or something. not cool, someone should of spoke to us. if he had bit down on it or swallowed it, this may of been a trip to the hospital. Don't know when we'll return, if they don't care it is showing us that they don't care about their customer. read more

Authentic Mexican Food and Exceptional Service Today, we stopped at Casa Perez Family Mexican Restaurant on the way home from Prescott for a quick bite to eat and it was the best decision we made all week. Casa Perez is beautifully decorated the ambience ia relaxing, the staff is welcoming, and the food is delicious. Casa Perez's menu offers a large selection of Mexican food favorites , there is something to satisfy everyones appetite. On this visit we chose pollo fundido, tacos, beans, rice, enchiladas, chips ans salsa and everything was delicious. The chips were fresh, crispy, not greasy, and served toasty warm. The salsa waa authentic and flavorful, with just a tad of mild heat, just perfect, the way I would make it at home. All our entrees were fresh, flavorful, served pipping hot and the service was exceptional. The food was pretty tasty and service was fast. But the ground beef was very greasy, dripping so. Made tortilla soggy. And $4.50 for a soda is ridiculous. So if you come, avoid the ground beef and order water! read more

Great food, great service, clean, friendly, bar and restaurant area. Would definitely be back on a road trip through

After trying the location in P.V., we finally made a visit to the Casa Perez in Dewey. I give this Dewey location 3.5 stars; it is definitely better than the P.V. restaurant. Located right on hwy 69, it's hard to miss the bright yellow building front. There is more than enough parking behind and to the side. I really liked the building inside and out. It's an older place with a lot of character, and the interior feels like you're in an old ranch-style building with a very casual vibe. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Service was good throughout. Mostly the food was good. The steak fajitas were very good, above average. Also the chips and salsa were quite good...the salsa has a nice spice level so you know you're not just eating "ketchup" salsa. The rice and beans were average. The two things that could have been better: the margarita was not so great, would not get that again. And the chicken mole enchiladas were average; the mole was tasty, but the chicken was dry and bland. The portion sizes are very generous, more than enough to fill us up to bursting. All in all, better than most of the Mexican food we've tried in the quad-cities area, but we'll continue trying more places to find our favorites. read more

On Memorial Day, we were gratefully seated right away by friendly staff. My aunt and I ordered the cheese enchilada and taco with rice & beans combo, while my husband ordered fajitas with homemade tortillas. The food arrived very hot on hot-to-the-touch plates. Everything tasted fresh, bursting with the flavors one would expect from mouth watering Mexican fare. We literally ate every morsel on our plates - no to go boxes for us! Our server was friendly, timely, and attentive. The price was reasonable and if we lived locally, we'd likely frequent here. read more
