Chips and salsa are served to start and the salsa was borderline sweet and fruity. We had the cheese crisp as an appetizer and it is a good portion. Plenty for at least 3. Next we had cheese enchiladas with green sauce which was unique. A been tostada, veggie burrito which comes enchilada style unless you ask them not to (I forgot), beans and rice and a steak taco. I love the atmosphere in this cute little restaurant in Prescott... I was impressed with all of the awards they received for their wonderful food. I moved here from a place that had very authentic Mexican food, my first choice was to try the Chile Verde here..... I make my own chili verde and tomatillo's are a main ingredient. The meal that I got was oily and overly spiced with Mexican oregano. I couldn't taste anything but oregano, which I thought was so odd. I could not detect any other spice and wondered if there are tomatillos in their recipe. I'm giving a 3-star review because the people were very nice. It's a very nice establishment and maybe I'll go back and try the enchiladas and get simpler with my order. Just my opinion, but the verde just did not hit the mark with me. read more

We recently had lunch catered by Lindo Mexico for Teacher Appreciation Week at Bagdad Unified School District, and the entire experience was wonderful! They made the ordering process so easy and helped ensure we had enough food to feed 100 people. Raphael was incredibly helpful, kind, and professional throughout the entire process. They even went above and beyond by having our order ready earlier than normal so we could transport it back to Bagdad and have everything set up in time. Researching Mexican eateries in the area, I was looking for a place with a more authentic sounding menu (&ample choices). I wanted beyond "just tacos & burritos", hoping for specialty dishes reminiscent of my favorite New Mexican hearty eats-I was sold on Lindo when I read they offered fresh Menudo! Walking in, I felt conflicted..the place boasted authenticity, and their menu certainly had the specialty items vibe, but the overwhelming decorations made me worry was this capturing the spirit of Mexican authentic vibe, or was it over-the-top kitschy more than charming.. The staff was friendly, their energy in the place was great-- I ordered the menudo-it was a massive hearty, big bowl of deliciousness. The flavors were rich, the broth had just the right amount of spice--it came with all the right toppings (lime, onion, red chili flakes, dried herbs)- it was packed with thick pieces of tripe simmered to melt in mouth yum. I also ordered a side sweet green chili cheese tamale- it was a very well stuffed, well flavored stand out tamale-the sweet and savory balance was delectable- My husband ordered a combination platter- he noted the sides were a little underwhelming. They definitely needed a bit more seasoning, they didn't have the punch or depth of flavor. the main entree parts were well stuffed, but had the same underwhelming profile, so they did feel like 'just another taco'- but the platter quantity was massive, very good bang for your buck once self-seasoned. Overall, this spot had it's ups & downs within a vibrant atmosphere. I love everything about this restaurant! You walk in to a cornucopia of bright colors and lively music, the staff are well trained, very friendly and helpful. It didn't take long before every table was filled with customers who, like us were happy and smiling! It's almost like you step into a different world when you enter Lindo Mexico! We dined in on a Sunday evening, there was plenty of parking and we were seated right away. The atmosphere was casual with bright decor. We received chips,salsa and our drinks right away. The salsa was good but we prefer a little more kick and the chips were light and crispy. After ordering the food came pretty quickly. Mt husband ordered the "pick 3" combo plate that consisted of a cheese enchilada, ground beef taco, shredded beef burrito with rice and beans. He enjoyed everything he ordered. The food was very good and of high quality, if not a bit bland. This matches the menu, which flags only a couple of seafood items with a warning as being spicy. My Chile Relleno had nice and tender chunks of braided beef, but the gravy/sauce was a bit underwhelming, with muted flavors. The free salsa was savory and tasty, but it didn't seem to have much kick. This may be more of what true authentic Mexican food is supposed to be like, and that's great. First time here. Just ordered simple burritos for 13 bucks a pop. Left a little hunger. I had the el pastor burrito and the sauce was strong like a hamburger taco with cumin ?? Didn't taste to bad but was a lot different then what I'm use to. Wife had the lingua. Burrito and that was pretty good. They dont come with anything unless you order extra, so it's just a simple small burrito. The service was really good our waiter was making sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed our lunch specials in this nicely decorated restaurant. I had the chili Colorado plate with double black beans instead of rice. The meat was very tender. My husband had the chili verde plate also with black beans. This is one of the few places in town where you can get whole beans instead of refried beans, and they have a choice of pinto or black beans, very healthy. The in house made salsa is also very fresh and comes with unsalted chips. Nothing is very spicy hot here and I wish they had a hot salsa option. read more

My husband and I went there last night 06/16/2025. We have been coming here for years. We are long time Prescott residents. It has always been decent but last night my husband ordered the "Arroz con pollo" and he got really sick from it including (bloody mucous diarrhea) which means most likely Ecoli or other kind of food poisoning. He is still not over it. He didn't have anything else different that day or the two days previous so we know it's from that dish. I ordered a combination dish with cheese enchilada and carnitas burrito with rice and beans. So far I have been lucky with no symptoms and I hope it stays that way. I am posting this in case someone else got the same thing from the same dish. They need to take better precautions with their food prep, hand washing and holding area. We ate there yesterday and were very disappointed in the quality of the food. The salsa was runny and appeared watered down, plus it had no flavor. The burros were terrible. They were served luke warm, almost cold. and the meat inside was substandard. Worst burro we've had in the entire state. The meat in the Al Pastor burro was ground up pork and I wasn't even sure it was real pork. Usually pork burro meat is cubed pork which is cooked in a spicy sauce. People who are used to the great food at Bario Queen in Phoenix or even Valle Luna would be totally disappointed. We will not be returning. Unfortunately there are limited Mexican restaurants in Prescott; for the price this is not worth it. Unfortunate; because the atmosphere was cute with Mexican decor and the staff was friendly and efficient, for the most part. read more

Update 12/28/23 for this take out service 1 star - tried to order via phone. Put on hold for 5 minutes AND I drove there thinking the order would be placed by the time I arrived. Nope. The order taker was standing there while my call was on hold and she wasn't doing anything! I ordered in person and then ended my call which she still didn't pick up. Even with me in person she still managed to screw up a very simple order. Although I love the food, it will be my last time trying to do a take out.
