This is a pretty good Mexican restaurant. I go to many of them and this one is about average for the area. I've been here a few times and usually order a lunch special. My favorite dish is generally a chile relleno with rice and beans. Pretty tasty and the service is extremely fast. I literally went to wash my hands after ordering, and when I walked out of the bathroom, my food was on the table. Definitely a place to go if you work and have a limited time to eat. I believe this is the best Mexican restaurant in the area! Best shrimp enchiladas ( not your typical enchiladas!) and fajitas made with thighs versus breast. Meat was juicy and tender very flavorful plates run from 15 to 25. Margaritas were good would definitely come back. read more

Actually, everybody that worked there was great even the manager who came to the table was very nice, but our food was, overcooked in seed oil, no flavor , you couldn't tell the difference between the chili relleno or the enchilada. First visit. I had the chili verde pollo. The spice level was mild. However, the flavor was excellent. There were large pieces of chicken and the tomatillo sauce was perfectly seasoned. The rice and beans that came with a plate or flavorful although I did add some salsa to spice them up a bit. The margarita was fantastic And the service was outstanding. The BEST homemade salsa ever! We stopped in for a quick Mexican meal and were blown away by authenticity of their menu and food!

This Mexican style restaurant is way cool and vibrantly fun. The decor is amazing and a constant burst of colorful inspiration and imagination. It is somewhat kitschy, but in a fun, energizing way. There were a good number of families out for dinner and the place had a good business going for a weekday evening. We were sat at a booth that was quite comfortable and gave us a good view of the entire place. Service was friendly, swift and very efficient. It was admirable how quickly they maneuvered around serving folks. The menu is extensive and I started off with a house margarita (3 Amigos) that was awesome, full of flavor and packed a punch. For my meal I had the Chili Colorado that had a good amount of food and frankly is some of the best Mexican food I've had in some time. It came with the typical rice, beans, queso and garnish My better half had the fish tacos and although packed full of fresh fish didn't quite hit the spot like mine did. There's no doubt, however, that portions are large and quite filling. Mine came with a choice of flour or corn tortillas and I had the corn, very well made and delicious. My husband and I were craving Mexican food so we went to Casa Perez that was a bad idea because that was the worse Mexican food we have ever experienced it tasted like it was frozen and then recooked, no flavor at all I do not recommend this place at all!!! Our waitress came pretty quickly to our table to ask us for our drinks & I ordered the Cadillac Margarita & hubby ordered the 1800 Margarita & we both enjoyed them & they were very tasty. We split the Quesadilla Fiesta which had just the right amount of cheese and veggies in it along with a side of refried beans. Went with family for "Taco Tuesday" - the shredded beef tacos and charro beans were delicious, the chips and salsa were also yummy. The margaritas (mango blended and house on the rocks), were both very weak and way too much ice. The frozen mango one had to be "eaten" with a spoon - no bueno. Service was good, restaurant and restroom were nice and clean. They definitely should advertise their taco Tuesday special (must buy a beverage for the cheap taco prices), the place wasn't busy at all at 6:30 PM. read more

I was served the most pathetic shrimp taco I've ever seen in my life. Ordered a Cadillac margarita that tasted like nothing but mixer when I said something about it and asked to buy a shot they charged me $9 for a shot and when I asked the manager about it she said oh that's pre-mixed well that's not how you make a Cadillac margarita right? We stopped in here before a concert as it was right across the street from the venue. We also have been to the original location closer to Dewey Holmbolt, and that location is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. I was hoping for the same food here. Unfortunately, nothing was the same. The inside was super cute and very traditional Mexican food. You do get chips and salsa. The salsa is not spicy at all. I liked the consistency with chunks but also sauce like, but no flavor. The chips were warm and thick. The water was disgusting. They did not use filtered water. They used straight nasty AZ tap water. I had to order a sprite because tap water in AZ taste like dirty dish water. My husband had the chimichanga Fundido, and he didn't complain, the cheese sauce was pretty good to dip in but it wasn't amazing. Nothing special but also decent, the chimichanga was of course HUGE! I had the Casa Perez Fajita. I ordered it because it had chicken, steak, and shrimp. It also came with rice and beans and of course tortillas. They didn't have a pico de gallo, which I wasn't a fan of. I love pico. The shrimp was okay, nothing special. The steak was super disappointing. Carne asada is a staple Mexican food item and it was low quality meat. The seasoning wasn't strong or good. The chicken was the best tasting but had a lot of sketchy pieces. Went to dinner for the first time here. I knew I was going to be making a review on my experience. Surprisingly... from everything I can think of reviewing or grading as a restaurant was amazing. The host had a friendly greeting with prompt seating. Our waitress Elizabeth was amazing beyond friendly bringing extra napkins right up front being very attentive. The food was very tasty and the portion was great for your money. Drinks were delicious. very clean atmosphere and restrooms were very clean. Manager/owner? The menu is very extensive and is also the same as the Dewey location. I wanted to have fish and ordered the grilled tilapia plate as a gluten free option, which came with a generous helping of rice and beans plus pico. I got the charro beans instead of refried and these were excellent and had some smokey pieces of bacon. The fish was OK but nothing special so I will try shrimp or get the red chili which I have had before and really like. We recently tried Casa Perez's new location in Prescott Valley and, can say with certainty, we have found our new "go-to" Mexican restaurant. The service was excellent, the food delicious, and the prices reasonable. The hostess and waitress were welcoming and service was attentive even after the bill was paid. We started with chips and salsa, ordering their extra-hot sauce for my husband. Had it been sold by the bottle, we would have taken one or two home. We ordered the Fajitas for Two with steak, chicken, and shrimp as our main entree. Everything was fresh with the meat well-seasoned, sizzling, and delicious! The onions were caramelized and the bell peppers and tomatoes were charred to perfection. The sides: rice, beans, guacamole, sour cream, shredded lettuce, and diced tomatoes were served at their appropriate temperatures. Portions were generous leaving us no room for dessert, but we ordered it anyway. We opted for the fried ice cream which was perfect for sharing. The kids ordered dinner tonight and I was the runner/getter guy. Sometimes it doesn't pay, literally with being a dad. Haha. The restaurant looked very clean and was quite busy or so it was to me. There were some open tables but still looked pretty full. As I was waiting for the order out, I did visit the restroom and it was of adequate size and all though I didn't try, it seemed large enough to be accessible for those of us needing a bit of extra space for maneuvering or navigating. The main dining area's conversations were at an acceptable level. Didn't hear anyone shouting to speak to the other side of the table. lol. The seating/eating areas were clean and the ambiance was great. In the video I wasn't able to get a fully good pic of the bar side of the restaurant however on my back out to the parking lot it did appear well stocked and ready for patrons. It also it appeared well stocked and Haha This particular location didn't give military, police, fire, medical discounts but there is several locations in the sounding areas that might. Parking was or could be an issue during regular business hours as there's 3 different businesses in this building. I only found there were only 2 spots and they weren't the closest to the front door. But they'd be great for att&t which these two dedicated parking spots are located. But that's not going to stop me from going back to this location should Mexican food sounds good to us. All in all I wasn't disappointed waiting for what seemed like forever, although it really wasn't but a few moments and waiting for my turn and forgetting to were seated. a lil bit until my kids order was ready for takeout. (I'm still on the fence about tips and when, what, where businesses should be tipped and if on a takeout order is tipping warranted. Somewhat new to the area, and starting to try the various Mexican restaurants nearby. Just went to Casa Perez for the first time, and while it was okay, we will definitely continue our search for really good Mexican food in the quad cities area. Located in a shopping center, out in front of the big Fry's store, this place immediately hits you with vibrant colors when you walk in the door. They have many tables, several booths, and a bar area with some seating. (And a full bar!) The menu is pretty extensive, covering both the typical Mexican fare, as well as some of the specialties you won't always find. We tried the chicken mole enchiladas and the carnitas. Both dishes had generous portions; the carnitas was average, a bit on the bland side. The mole enchiladas were better, filled with a lot of chicken. Refried beans were very good; but the rice was not so good - over flavored for my tastes. (I like Mexican rice to be subtle, so it offsets the spiciness of everything else.) The chips and salsa were average. Service was also average; somewhat abrupt and not really friendly. Probably won't be going back any time soon, unless we find all the other Mexican places nearby are worse. read more

The food is authentic Mexican food, from the refried beans, to the rice, the fried corn tortillas for the tacos. Salsa and chips are dangerously delicious. We ate so much that we barely had room for the meal. The dessert menu is amazing. There are some choices that you will only find in a Mexican household! I want to go back just for the desserts; sopapillas, buñuelos, and flan! Service is fast and precise. The decor is bright, colorful, and welcoming.
