Casa Morada is truly something special. We came here on our honeymoon and couldn't have asked for a better location, more beautiful grounds/room or a kinder staff. From the second we arrived we were welcomed by Caitlin who was the absolute sweetest and found a congratulatory bottle of champagne in our room. The hotel is located on the bay side which means incredible sunsets and calm waters where you can admire fish, dolphins and manatees (we saw all 3 just be standing on the deck!). The pool area is wonderfully maintained and we enjoyed lounging for hours every day with the other kind couples staying at the hotel. They offer amenities like paddle boards, kayaks and the option to book a sunset cruise which was one of our favorite experiences of our whole honeymoon. The bartender Janice even gathered the other guests to send us off on our cruise with a farewell congratulations toast which was so sweet. This isn't the all inclusive vibe or somewhere you go to be waited on 24/7 (eg the bar is closed several days a week and we felt pretty much entirely left to our own devices during our weeklong stay) but as long as you have the right expectations going in you'll no doubt see the same special qualities that made this boutique hotel somewhere we're planning to return to for years to come. Thank you Casa Morada and the amazing staff for making our honeymoon unforgettable!

Stayed here during the pandemic in September and was unbelievably impressed with the amenities, cleanliness, and location. Thank you Casa Morada for the relaxing stay at your beautiful property!!

Beautiful secluded spot, plenty of water bassinet and friendly people make for a wonderful escape. Chris at the front desk was super helpful and Justine the bartender is as sweet as her name belies. So happy I took a quick break to recharge and consider life, life is definitely good:-)

Wow! Started our vacation in Miami and stayed at the W but when we got to CASA MORADA we wish we would have stayed here all 7 nights. Eileen, the owner, greeted us and took us on our own personal tour of their facility. We stayed in the Jungle room. The room was super clean and tons of usable space. We loved the sitting room and personal deck. The facility offered kayaks, paddle boards and bikes. Our favorite part was the "island" that had our own pool, yoga, cocktails and food. We spent most of our time there. We did not want to leave. You could hire the captain for the sunset cruise or a daytime snorkeling adventure. The staff here is very personable, attentive and friendly. I feel lucky that my BF found such a perfect spot for us to relax. Thank you. We will be back!!!

I don't believe words can explain this place nor do the pictures do justice but I will try my best. I found this place on Secret Escape about eight months ago the rooms were at 50% off, right after hurricane Irma. I always love the keys but most hotels were very plain and simple. This hotel only has maximum 16 rooms so basically you really don't see anyone around, It's as if you are on your own private property. Upon arrival I'm served a glass of complimentary champagne which was delicious! I really wanted some alone time , since my house at the time is being renovated hehe. Secluded On a large landscaped, well tended to by several Gardners/landscapers. Yes they actually rake the gravel trails that are in between the gardens and trees every morning so you only see your footprints. I stayed at the sea turtle room, has a beautiful patio area where you can hear and see a beautiful waterfall hidden between the trees. As you follow the trail towards the dock there's a single beautiful two-person Hammock that is a stand alone Surrounded by water. I enjoyed one night laying there looking at the beautiful dark sky, I haven't seen so many beautiful stars in a very long time, And it was a full moon week so I can't imagine what it looks like when the moon is not full. You can schedule day fishing ,sunset sailing and many other activities right from the hotel. Walking distance , there are several restaurants to choose from, I was there for the full moon celebration, was lovely. Part of my treat to myself was a full body massage which was arranged by the hotel the masseuse was amazing and the price was perfect compared to Miami. $125 for 1 hour in room service just amazing! One of the best places to see the sunset with all its beautiful purple pink and gold. The hostess was amazing before I arrived I called to confirm my stay, she asked if I had plans for dinner and I told her no , I asked her about Chef Michael's which I've read some reviews on yelp, told her there's a restaurant I wanted to go to but I'm afraid it might be too late for a reservation, she went ahead and made reservations for me and confirmed! Excellent customer service! The bar at the end of the dock is amazing, try the smoked fish dip, it's delivered daily right off the fishing boat they smoke it immediately after catching. Viewing the sunset from there is a must do! But if you're more into people, a restaurant about a block and a half away walking distance is called Lorelei was nice to hang out and have a light lunch, food is not the best but the view is amazing! Inside the hotel room as natural terrazzo floors, nice comfy bed living room area mini fridge that's packed with lots of delicious drinks and of course my favorite sparkling water. They refill every day. Breakfast is served on the upper deck of another building overlooking the ocean. It was the most magnificent place I've ever stayed in the Keys, well Islamorada haha not considered the Keys.

This little boutique hotel was hands down the best part of our trip to the keys. My boyfriend found it in a small article in GQ magazine. We ended our Barbados trip in Miami and then came here and I only wish we would have spent both of our last nights at Casa Morada. It's so adorable and secluded, the perfect romantic getaway. The highlights for a newly engaged couple like ourselves were: -No kids allowed. Enough said. -The view. The floating bar and pool area faces the west ocean so you can see the sunset if you stay there. -The room was clean, quaint and well-stocked with complimentary snacks and mini bar. -They offer free yoga classes on the beach. -The continental breakfast on the deck was nice with lots of extras like fresh fruit, soymilk, granola, yogurt, and good coffee. -We loved the beach cruisers. We took them to Lorelei's and Morada Bay for drinks and dinner to catch the sunset, it was so much fun. It's not a "5 star resort" but for us it was the perfect combination of luxury and serenity that we were looking for. If we ever came back to the keys we would definitely stay here again.

Casa morada = relaxation. This place is literally a physical and mental escape where you can set your mind and body at ease surrounded by subtle luxury. Nothing about this place screams out 5 stars but once you check in in an elegant little room with a glass of champagne and look out at the tree lined pathways that end at glassy bayfront water, you just take a deep breath and exhale with contentment. The grounds are peaceful with zen like touches, a private waterfall, a grassy hilltop, peace all around and a pool and bar on a private island with water all around. The rooms are quiet, beachy, comfy and lovely. Not overdone but comfy with luxe touches. I prefer staying in the water front building where you can awake to a shining bay and palm trees. Breakfast is simple, fresh, delicious and complimentary. You can grab a bike, kayak, or paddleboard anytime and head out for some exercise. Or..... You can cross a little bridge, grab a mango sake cocktail and find a luxurious lounge or hammock by the pool. The sunset sail is a must, especially if Dolphins decide to follow you around as they did with us. The staff is wonderful, they are so nice I didn't want to leave. They will take care of any request. And for dog lovers, this place is luxury for you and your fur baby. It is simple, peaceful, zen like luxury and only 1.5 hours from Miami. We can't wait to come back very soon!

Had a great stay in Casa Marada. A boutique hotel in Islamarada. We loved our garden front room. It was very private and made us feel like we were in the jungle. Spotted lots of lizards and even some residence kitties. The man made island made for very relaxing days. We had a private snorkeling excursion with Captain bill which was at a great price and a lot of fun! We also enjoyed using the free kayaks.

Casa morada, mi casa, this was my third time at casa morada, and not my last for sure, what a beautiful peaceful place- with high quality of customer services, rooms, breakfast and amenities included

On the positive side,…read morethe room was clean and well-maintained, and the check-in process was very smooth and hassle-free, which we appreciated after a long day of travel. However, we felt that the property is quite highly priced for what it offers. Unfortunately, our comfort was affected by a few issues in the room--the bed made noticeable noise even with slight movement, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the air conditioner was quite loud, adding to the disturbance. Overall, while the cleanliness and easy check-in were definite positives, the noise issues and pricing did not quite match our expectations.

The hotel itself was very clean, and the room looked like it was recently remodeled. The bed had a European style bottom on it where I kept hitting my ankle and toes. The mattress was kind of soft, but the pillows were really nice and comfortable. The bathroom looked rather old, and the shower itself didn't have a door on it. So you risk getting water onto the bathroom on the floor when you're just taking a normal shower. I liked the rear room door which led to the pool area. The pool was a saltwater type and very inviting. This was a major plus for this Inn. Get the towels from the front office and pick a nice spot around the pool. This area really was well done Shopping is a breeze with the Publix grocery store just one mile south. Many great choices for restaurants are all within 2 miles. There are no places to cook inside the unit, but there is a microwave outback in case you wanna warm something. A small refrigerator is provided along with a coffee maker and Keurig coffee pods. Try not to book a room facing the street, as it gets rather noisy at night. Also, foot traffic during was rather loud up until midnight. There is a great value in staying here as the price for rooms are very reasonable. I think I paid $136 for the night. The two women at check-in were very polite and attentive to my needs. Questions were answered, I think I would stay here again if I didn't have a room up against the highway. Be sure to inquire first.

After 3 days my wife had to threaten the front desk staff with using towels to wipe her ass if the maids didn't restock the toilet paper in our room. Totally unacceptable for a resort. They kept assuring us the rooms service maids were coming in daily, but they never did until she threatened to come down and make a scene. The staff seemed unmotivated to complete even the basic cleaning tasks. We only asked for two coffee k cups, clean towels and the two room garbage cans to be emptied on a daily basis. That was just too demanding and the staff tried to mean-mug us when we came and went but finally got it done for the final two days of our visit. I'd advise you visit another property because the service is nonexistent and a total disappointment. Their on site restaurant was a joke as well. Completely overpriced and out of touch given the location. Every other restaurant we visited in the area was excellent, but theirs was almost always empty. The menu was way overpriced and there were countless local options that were much better and less expensive. Nearly all the staff on site see to be unwilling to provide service to customers and displaying a shitty attitude overall. Leadership changes need to take place or this property will crumble. Good location, just bad service with inadequate leadership supervision.

As Hilton Gold members, we were fortunate to receive a small room upgrade at booking, which we definitely appreciated. Let me start with the highlights the resort amenities are wonderful, especially for families. There were plenty of complimentary activities for kids during the day, and even fun nighttime events like dancing that were adorable and well thought out. It truly felt family-friendly, and there was always something going on to keep everyone entertained. The cutest was Santa pics with cookies and milk! The staff was attentive and kind throughout our stay, and honestly, that goes a long way. Great service can elevate an entire experience, and they really delivered on that front. That said, at nearly $1,000 per night during peak season, I did expect the facilities and rooms to be in better condition. The property has so much potential, but parts of it felt a bit rundown for the price point. The rooms could use some attention and deeper cleaning. I completely understand that this is a beachfront resort and sand is inevitable however we noticed quite a bit of sand throughout the room, even on the bed when it had been freshly made. I've stayed at other beach resorts where housekeeping was a bit more thorough in that regard. However nothing crazy but cleanliness is big in my book. One morning, there was also a cockroach at the coffee cart. My husband reported it right away to the front desk. The next few mornings the cart wasn't out, and I'm assuming they were addressing the situation, which I appreciate but it was still a bit off-putting. The on-site restaurants were good not extraordinary, but enjoyable and I felt the pricing there was fair considering it's a resort property. Overall, we had a great experience. The resort has incredible potential, and with a little more attention to upkeep especially considering the premium nightly rate it could easily be a five-star stay. The friendly staff and activities made a big difference.

Total rip off for what you get. We have stayed at Hiltons in 16 countries including the Grand Wailea Maui and have never seen these types of numbers. 10+ years as a Diamond with Hilton and this is a shameful experience. It would be different if the rooms made up for it but they are no better than a redone drive up motel as it is noisy all night long with halls open to the parking lot.
