Me And my family arrived with 12/15 of our guest and instead of letting us sit down And wait for the rest of our party, they made us stand in the entrance with all our children blocking traffic . The manager came out and said "Their policy is they can't seat everyone because there are graduations and a granduation party might want to take that place since our party has not fully arrived. Our waitress seated us and asked if we needed anything else , we responded lemons. The waitress said she would return after putting our orders in and it took her over 15 mins to come back and I had to ask one of the bus boys to ask for our waitress. The food was not Mexican! The food is bland, the chili Colorado was super nasty and the shrimp cocktail had no flavor. I don't not recommend unless you like tasteless food from a chef who had lost his passion for the kitchen. I've always drove by this place, while driving around town. Today i stopped by and placed a to go order for a breakfast burrito. As soon as i stepped in i was greeted politely and was gracefully assisted with my order. My burrito was ready in no more than 10 mins. I ordered the chorizo, potato, egg and cheese burrito and it was delicious! Truly authentic mexican food! The venue had a fully stocked bar and felt like a very chill spot to hangout for food or drinks. Ill be coming back with coworkers to hangout and have a few drinks at the bar and try new plates from their menu. read more

Came to the establishment with my family , we sat down looked at the menu and our waitress Alicia was taking our orders but she didn't put our order right she said it was a breakfast potato burrito but I told her we wanted a beans, rice and grilled chicken burrito. she was like yea okay. She didn't have the best attitude! We got our food and the burrito had pico de gallo. We let the server know that the burrito was wrong and she said that they would have to charge me for another burrito.We talked to the manger as well but he didn't do anything, no discount nothing ! (Perris lacks restaurant choices, IMO) First bad sign- chips sitting out on ledge getting stale. YUCK! second bad sign, salsa is watery for my liking and a little hot. I enjoy more of a pico de Gallo with a little heat. Anyway, it made me Leary of what else they had to offer. I got a shrimp burrito. While it was alright, overall I found it bland and was happy to use the watery salsa to pep it up some. My husband tried the Chili Rellano burrito and he said the beans were watery making it hard to eat, used a fork in the end. The third person seemed to enjoy his meal, which was good because he paid. So it was a win. What I appreciated the most- huge selection of food and a menu that reads like two restaurants in one. A diner type place and a Mexican food restaurant. I was excited to find out there was a casa Jimenez near Moreno Valley. I use to live in Fontana and the one there never disappointed. I had high expectations for this one in perris but was quickly disappointed. We were seated quickly and the waitress brought our drinks right away. Our order was a wet asada burrito and a campechana and also two asada tacos. The waitress came back with our food in 15 min. The food looked and let me say that after we got our food we never saw our waitress again. She didn't come back to check on us once. The campechana had a strong foul smell, almost like dirty ocean water. And the shrimp were really dirty. The wet burrito and the asada tacos tasted like if they were cooked and soaked in pig lard. The most disappointing thing was the asada. I have NEVER been to a restaurant where they give you asada that looks like little beads. The "meat" if you want to call it that was cut into super small pieces and it was over cooked and burnt. Never wasting my time here again, poor food and poor service. read more

Sometimes it does get busy and wait times suffer but they're not unbearable. Tacos are good portions and my new favorite Molcajete Jimenez is really good. By far though my favorite thing here are their Micheladas. They are by far the best I've ever had and they are MASSIVE! They also have happy hour M-F 3-7 and they have a few TV's with sports on definitely give this restaurant a try! read more

Casa Jiménez has been in Perris for a while. I enjoy coming to this place because the staff is always very nice and always on top of things. The times I have gone They check up on my table and offer anything we might need. When it comes to food, I believe that it is very good. Pricing is decent and their flavor is good. Only thing is that I feel the portions are a little too much, but I can't complain because I will just end up taking it home. The restaurant itself looks pretty dated, although it seems like they just renewed it not too long ago. This restaurant has some great potential and is located in a great place. I have been here more than 3 times and keep wanting to come back. Lunch special is less than $10. Food is good but the service and cleanliness amazed me more. You can tell the place is old but the restroom, the table and booth and the floor are clean. Service is very consistent. Fast to seat us, chip and salsa right away, all the servers are great.
