What a beautiful venue! I came here a couple weekends ago for a friends daughters debut and everything was breathtaking. Parking is pretty big but does share a lot with other businesses and restaurants so may get busy during day time hours. The venue itself is located in Orange at Eisenhower Park. Decorations were beautiful and look like you entered a fairy tale with lots of blooming flowers. There was an open bar and the bartender was great. She mad conversations and even made some recommended drinks, definitely took advantage of that open bar. The staff that was helping with the food was great too and the taste of everything was great. Overall, great venue and from what I hear, they use other venues too so definitely check them out for your next event. read more

Attended an event here a few weeks back. The venue was "so so". If I have to give a compliment, it was, that parking was pretty abundant and the staff was pretty friendly. The negatives and reason for the one star rating: The only beverage they served at the table was soda and water was a hassle to get which required a trip to the bar. They served some sort of chicken dish for dinner and it tasted completely bland and it was very dry. By dry, I mean the type of chicken you chew for about five minutes before you swallow just to get it moist enough to go down your throat. I honestly don't think I swallowed any of it after chewing for so long I had to spit it out to avoid choking on it. My wife and kids all complained about the horrible chicken and appetizers as well. Luckily the family brought in their own charcuterie board so we all ate cheese and crackers to get through the event and we went out for dinner together afterwards. We would have stayed longer, but we got hungry and there was nothing good to eat. You would hope with such a horrible entrée maybe the appetizers would be worthwhile to make up for it. Our appetizers were one wonton and one meatball. They were both cold, and still kind of frozen in the middle. They looked pretty familiar to the ones I have received during samples at Costco before. Fortunately, at Costco, they at least knows how to heat them up right and they are somewhat appetizing. At this venue, they missed the instructions for proper heating. I normally wouldn't leave such a negative review, and would give a business the chance to redeem itself. However, I know the person that threw the party. The family paid for a "premium menu". They were not given the same food from when they showed up during the taste sampling and selected. They were pretty ticked off about it and they contacted the owners of the business expecting some sort of compensation and received none. With the amount of money they spent on this event, that outcome is extremely unacceptable and unprofessional. If anything changes with this outcome, I will provide a review update. read more

I really wouldn't recommend Casa De Lago. I attend for my nieces Quinceanera. She was beautiful. The food... Not So Much. Everything was so OVER cooked. The chicken was beyond dry, basically uneatable! when my cousin told me he paid for premium food, I couldn't believe it. Cant imagine what the normal options are?!? YIKES!!!! I also have to say the BAR was a huge disappointment. At first, their credit card system was down so it was only CASH. Okay,we understood things happen and everyone hit the ATM. Then they got the credit card system working and no longer took cash.?!.?? WTH. And further more they had NO LIMES, or LEMONS, OLIVES, nothing as far as garnishes for your drinks. RUN AWAY! This organization is mismanaged, the owners, at least Tony lacks any managerial customer service. If you plan on having a wedding here please read this and reconsider your options before you do. My wedding night was a disaster. However, let me start from the beginning. When looking at the reviews you will see that a employee named Carlos is mentioned often. And that will draw you in to go give this place a opportunity. We met Carlos and like the reviews say he was awesome! Responsive, excellent customer service. Pretty much made us feel comfortable/confident that signing the contract was the right thing to do. Well as soon as it was time for my first payment. I wasn't getting a response. I was calling the main line. Emailing. And no response. Almost 2 weeks after leaving a message on the main website. The owner contacted us and told us Carlos was no longer with the company and that he was looking for a replacement. It was really discouraging, first, we found out that things we discussed were not included. Uplights, charger plates, green overlay for the tables, and cocktail tables. Tony immediately told my wife he would not be honoring anything offered. When I spoke with him he did decide to let us have the green overlay and charger plates. But the rest would be extra charge. We had about two other people covering for the Los Cab location until finally they hire Mercedes, who begins taking my payments. Then a month before, she leaves the company and we get Jasmine. So that's really troublesome and obviously something wrong if there is a high turn around. We called the vendors they work with. I highly suggest looking for your own Vendors as they overcharge for things. We found great vendors outside of their list. Ok wedding date. First they said the doors would be open at 11am for us to start setting up. We had to call them and they finally opened up the doors at 11:30. I ended up buying uplights through them and they didn't set them up. Luckily my DJ brought his own. Otherwise we wouldn't have had any color. * they took a month to pay me back. They lied about send out a check which I had to check a mailbox for each week. Only reason I probably got is because I pleaded with Jasmine that it doesn't take 3 weeks for a letter to come from Fountain Valley to LA. They didn't have the AC on. I had to turn it on myself. The Chef didn't make enough food so some of my guest didn't get a plate. ( Owner did nothing to reconcile this) we had about 8 no shows so there should have been no reason there wasn't enough food. During the cake cutting. They didn't provide us a plate nor knife so someone took a butter knife from their table and handed it to us. But we had no cutlery or plate to use either. (The staff asked me at one point where I get my cake from) which means they had a slice. I don't mind sharing but some of the guest said they didn't even get a slice smh. We arranged the tables ourself because they will spread them out a bit too far and act as if it's rocket science when you tell them can they move the tables in closer. That's all I can think off off the top from the night. By the Grace above my guest had a great time. Candy the bartender did a fantastic job. Security guard was cool too. Didn't catch his name. At the end of the day the wedding came out beautiful. But it was no thanks to this organization. Maybe have a small party or other type of event that you see they did a good job. But really think about it before having a wedding here. Planning is stressful enough. Tony and this place will do nothing but add to that stress. read more

My husband and I are so thrilled that we chose Casa De Lago (CDL) as a place where we got married and had our reception. We got married on December 10, 2021. Our ceremony was held outside overlooking the beautiful lake and Eisenhower Park, and the indoor reception was just so, so beautiful. Let me list all the things that are excellent about CDL: 1. The service provided by Gina and her team at CDL was beyond exceptional. Gina, who is the Venue Manager, was the person who gave us a tour of the facilities and convinced us to book CDL as our wedding venue instead of other places. Gina is organized, and she is such a fantastic communicator. We had zero issues planning a wedding with CDL because Gina and her team were so on top of it with having clear answers for us. 2. Shout out to Charlie, the co-owner of CDL. Charlie gave us an incredible deal. Thank you, Charlie! This place is reasonably priced with all the amenities that we were looking for when it comes to planning our wedding. 3. During COVID, it was stressful to plan a wedding (as everyone can relate to the stress from the pandemic). CDL staff ensured that we felt safe. My husband and I hired some friends of ours to help with the COVID check-in process, and CDL staff did a great job of wearing masks and keeping the place clean and sanitary. 4. I can't get over the beauty of this venue! The outside part (the ceremony) is just oh-so-gorgeous! The inside venue where we had our reception was just spectacular. There was plenty of room for dancing and a fun time. We had about 200 guests in attendance, and there was plenty of space for people. 5. We absolutely loved the 1912 from the moment we walked in and loved even more working with Romina. The venue itself has a phenomenal atmosphere, very modern, industrial and classic. The location, Downtown Santa Ana has so much personality and a great lively scene too. We compared a lot of different places and this was the most affordable without cutting back on quality or service. Their packages are very inclusive and transparent. They offer a full, friendly staff who were more than attentive. Romina was an absolute dream to work with, we had changes up until the day of the wedding and she was flexible and accommodating. She was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns making sure we were stress free and would love our wedding which we did. We were able to have live music, a boba bar, and a taco stand. The venue looked amazing, all of the linens were placed to match, the bar looked fully stocked, set up made sense for the amount of tables and chairs. TERRIBLE FOOD!!!! I went to my cousins party in December at this venue. The food was terrible. The appetizers were straight out of the Costco bag and still frozen. The chicken was dry and tough to chew. The salad was nasty, soaked in salad dressing. My cousin said they paid extra for fancy dinner plate, but it was horrible. "Premium " food was a rip off. The bar didn't have limes, lemons or anything for the cocktails. The bartender would not take cash only credit card. She was super rude. BEWARE OF THE BARTENDERS!!! My friends had a wedding here and had a open bar starting 5pm. Of course we were one of the first people to be in line. There was some commotion/ confusion regarding what was apart of "open bar" and what was not. The bartender told us that only 2 beers were provided by the host and everything on the shelves we had to pay for. Which we thought was weird because the groom and bride told us it'll be open. He kept saying that for about 15 minutes. Liar!!! A few different people ordered drinks when we did and they left without paying anything. But for us he charged us for drinks! He said that it is not included which was BS cuz other people ordered the same thing without paying. We went back for some more and he refused to serve us our preferred drink the rest of the evening and only giving us well drinks. I stopped drinking. I refused to drink what he was "allowing" us to drink. I was so upset that it ruined my evening. We left early. I even went to the manager and told him what happened calmly but I was still very upset to my stomach. Manager said he will talk to the bartender, void the transaction and contact me the following Monday but he didn't. The best day of my life turned out to be one of the worst. Thanks to the Los Cabs sports village. We've had like 3 - 4 manager turnover, I should've expected my wedding day to turn out the way it did. The final manager on duty constantly asked for a meeting because we also had to turn in our deposit; I had to explain in detail that she had to wait for me to get my schedule. Because unlike them, I work at a hospital where I sometimes work night shifts and get off at midnight. I had to also explain that because my husband and I may work the morning shift; we're thinking about the traffic to getting to fountain valley. We don't live down the street or in the area. 1. We paid $250 for uplights which they didn't provide. Thanks to our dj, had brought his own set. My husband had to constantly ask them for his refund and was lied to about being sent out "last Friday." He finally received it after 3 weeks. 2. The venue was supposed to be open at 11am and they opened 30 mins later. 3. Food served was cold 4. We had 10 guests who didn't attend and the venue still wasn't able to feed all of our attending guests. The waitresses said they weren't given enough food to serve. What's even more annoying is the waiting staff has the audacity to eat my cake but couldn't feed all my guests. 5. I was supposed to meet with someone before the event started, to have a run through and no one showed up or even introduced themselves. 6. No utensils and plates were provided to us for the cake cutting. We had to use our hands as a plate to feed each other for the cake cutting ceremony. 7.The waiting staff took photos in the photo booth while on the clock working. Mind you we brought some of these things up with the manager and OWNER via email. I'm pretty sure the owner had the respond and didn't want to deal with it. Company takes no responsibility or accountability after you pay them thousands of dollars. Customer service is horrible because after all these complaints, we got "well I hope your next event whatever if maybe goes better." No refund on the guests who weren't fed at my wedding. I would suggest 3 petals down the street or anywhere else instead of Casa de Lago events. When I think about my wedding day, these things always come up and get remembered. I doubt anyone would want to remember their wedding going wrong for the rest of their life. read more

Personalization Since my husband and I are total nerds, The Chuck Jones Center was the perfect "bare canvas" for us to map create our own theme and use the clean white walls as an opportunity to let our Disney and Star Wars fandoms to shine. The bonus to booking The Chuck Jone Center was Carmen (the Venue Coordinator). I can't tell you enough how incredible of a human being she is and also, how perfect she was for us! She was accommodating, kind, full of ideas and suggestions, which was perfect for someone like me who was overwhelmed by wedding planning. We were always in good hands with her and we love her so much! Warmed Welcome It's not everyday that the owner of a large business "touches hands" with their clients, but this was definitely the case with Casa De Lago. Tony was a sweetheart. My dad is not an "easy-to-please" type person, but Tony stopped by every table to meet each of his clients and prospective clients at the event tasting and took the time to know each upcoming event for the company. That definitely eased my father and that alone was truly special. I highly suggest making a reservation to the event tasting for Casa De Lago even if you are only considering booking with them. You get to meet their suggested wedding vendors and you might get a deal or two on deejays, lighting, etc. if you book them that same evening. My husband and I were able to utilize that! THEY SUCK AS A WHOLE COMPANY. When we booked the venue with them last year, all of the reviews were stellar and we were happy and confident that they'd deliver what was promised. Since then, they have had a high turnover or coordinators and unfortunately, we suffered the consequences of the lack of coordination at my nieces 15 last night. i'll start by saying that if something is not explicitly included in your contract, you can bet they will nickel and dime you for everything in the weeks leading to your event. We were told the ceremony was included in the price when we booked the venue, a month before they said that since they had new management and would no longer be honoring what they promised. So we had to pay an extra $1500 for the ceremony. They charged us $250 for special color napkins, but they failed to put the napkins on the HEAD TABLE. we were told we didnt have to pay extra to bring in vendors, such as the photo booth, etc. Then they tried to charge us for it, then they said we didnt have to pay, then again they said we did have to. luckily we ended up not having to pay, however, the staff on site the day of the event did not know we were bringing vendors. the day of, we were told there would be someone on site since 11 am to answer questions, do a walk though etc. No one was available to us. We called the numbers we had for them and no one answered all day so we were pretty much on our own. AFTER the party started the head of the waitstaff introduces herself and said she looked for us around 3 but couldnt find anyone. That's because the ceremony started at 4 and we were busy with family pictures. I told her there should have been someone there since 11 and she just simply said her shift doesnt start til 3. the food and bar were supposed to be served/opened at 5. it was 5:20 when the food started, no biggie but still late. the bar however, was a different story. the bartender never showed. at this point I ask the head of waitstaff to get me on the phone with the manager and she gets me on the phone with Karina who tells me our party was supposed to start at 5, not 4 and the bar should be open at 6 not 5. which was not correct. either she was lying to try and diffuse the situation or she simply had no idea what the hell was going on. they got a backup bartender to finally show almost an hour and half AFTER our party had started. She was nice and friendly and literally saved our event,. we were supposed to have a coffee station, which the waitstaff knew nothing about. they turned the AC off as soon our guests started arriving, so it got sooo hot in there. we had to ask them turn it back on. these are tiny little details we shouldnt have worried about. LONG STORY SHORT - they say things are included in the price, but they have such a high turnover of people and they dont honor what was promised unless you pay more. There is a huge lack of coordination the day of the event so be prepared to have things go wrong because no one knows what they are doing and the contact phone number they provide is useless since no one answers. stay away from this place, give your money to a company that knows what they are doing. read more

We are having my nieces quince at this place. One thing is said and they do another. We have messages proving one thing and them just retracting what they said. Today is the quince and they said they could open the doors to us at 11am to set up last minute stuff and we call at 11 and they just tell us that they are running 10-15 minutes late. It is now about to be 1130 and all we get is "they'll be there when they get there ok". This lady is rude as hell. Hair and makeup for the quince and mom is at 1145 so we had to leave and not set up the last minute details. This is frustrating to have to go through this the day of. The booking process was easy. Having the option to make payments was great. The food tasting process was easy. Whenever I had a question throughout the process I would get a response quickly and all my questions would be answered. On the day of our wedding Melinda was very helpful and attentive. The entire staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was great. None of our guests had any complaints. We heard nothing but good things from our guests about the food, the place, the bartender, the servers and the security guards. We had our wedding reception at one of their locations! The 1912 in Santa Ana! And we were completely in awe of how our wedding colors and decorations looked inside the venue. We had fallen in love with this venue when we toured it. We switched our wedding from wanting the ceremony and reception in the same spot because of this venue. Although they do provide the option to have both, we wanted to enjoy the venue for our reception. We dealt with The 1912 team, Romina, and she was amazing! They were very helpful! Our wedding package included, Food, Soft Drinks, Some beers, Charger Plates, Chairs, Linens, Napkins, Glassware, cutlery and Toasting cider + Champagne! They also have the ability to rent things from them which makes it so much easier at the end of the night! I'd like to start off this review by saying that my fiancé and I have not yet gotten married and decided not to go on this venue for the sole purpose of the food. Gina who was the person who toured and stayed in contact with us via e-mail was absolutely amazing and kind. She responded extremely quickly and left no question unanswered. I also believe that the cost of the venue and everything included is great! Here comes the not so great part. We attended their food tasting prior to committing because food is an extremely important part for us. We tried both the Mexican and Italian options. Both options lacked in flavor and felt like more than half of the food was either frozen or pre packaged. They offered sauces for you to pick from to place on top of the chicken. If it wasn't for the sauce the chicken would not have had flavor. The "salad" was romaine with dressing. That's it. No crutons, no cheese, no vegetables. Had it not been for the food being a literal 3/10 we would have booked this place. We were told we could bring in our own catering but that they would not be able to deduct the total package cost. Food was horrible. Attended an event for a friend that was hosted here with the intention of checking out the food for a celebration of life. They said they paid for the premium food. Dry chicken, no sauce and bland. Bar was not sufficiently stocked. Asked for lime or lemons wedges. The said the manager was going to grab some from the market, but they never came back. This place was soo perfect to have my wedding. It's beautiful inside and outside by the lake. There was soo much space to dance to eat and to enjoy the night. I had a total of 125 guest and everyone loved this place. I felt safe thanks to the security. I want to give a HUGE thank you to Gina for helping make our day soo special.
