I loved the classic '40s and '50s jazz and especially enjoyed the QR code on the table that gave information and fun facts about each song being played. Such a unique touch! The shrimp tacos were delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and both the bartender and waitress were friendly and attentive. Great music, great food, and great service. I'll definitely be back!

If you are concerned about people dropping their glassware perhaps you are bringing in the wrong crowd or need to rethink your night time activities. It is especially a bad look when someone is getting arrested on your patio. Service is terrible. Bartender served the scantily clad woman before serving me and the gentleman next to me who ordered a simple old fashion only 5 mins before woman and her party arrived. Overpriced mediocre drinks. Maybe the good reviews are for their food and/or daytime service but certainly not deserving of a nice night out for drinks. Money poorly spent here.

We came on a weekend and it was super busy (as it should be honestly with how amazing the food and service are). We got the blackened salmon with penne pasta and baby potatoes, and the flat iron steak with bow tie pasta and herb brown rice. The steak was cooked perfectly medium. The bow tie pasta is served cold and has a vinegary flavor to it, definitely a distinct taste, but I personally loved it because I enjoy sour/vinegary flavors. I can see why it might not be everyone's favorite though, but I personally really enjoyed it. The salmon was also super flavorful and cooked perfectly. Same with the penne pasta and potatoes. Honestly everything was just made really well and good. For the sauce, we got their popular jalapeno garlic sauce and it paired well with absolutely everything. Needless to say, this place was really good from head to toe. I also got to meet the owner and he was super friendly too. I seriously wish they would open one closer to my area. Parking was really easy and the ambience was lively with sports playing all around the bar and plenty of seating.

Well, two years ago I ended my first review by saying, "You haven't seen the last of us Kazama…read moreSushi! We will be coming back a lot!" Safe to say, we meant it. Two years later, Kazama has become our go to sushi spot. My wife and I have been back more times than I can count and it's one of those places where we already know we're going to leave happy. The sushi is consistently fresh and delicious, the sauces are amazing, and the spicy garlic edamame is STILL one of my favorites. We've tried plenty of different rolls since that first visit and have found quite a few favorites along the way. The service has also continued to be friendly and welcoming every time we come in. We love the hole in the wall vibes this spot gives. I always think the best compliment you can give a restaurant is becoming a regular. We said we found our new favorite spot two years ago and Kazama has definitely earned that title. Still an easy 5 stars from us!

This sushi place has plenty of lunch specials and things to offer as well as an extensive menu. The menu can be seen by scanning the QR code on the table. Our server was attentive and helped us order. Due to time we ordered a couple of the lunch items. We got the tempura plate that comes with a shrimp tempura cali roll. The tempura was all very fresh, as was the roll that came with it. The other thing we got was the gyoza combo pate. That came with spicy tuna and Cali roll and some pieces or gyoza. The meal was served with miso soup. Because it was a date day we should have sat at the bar for more privacy. The tables are a little too close in my opinion so you can't have a private conversation. The place is tiny but the sushi was good enough tasting to where I'd go back for a lunch plate again. I'd also try their specialty rolls.
