LEMON LOT, LEMON LOT, LEMON LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been waiting for a little over a year to let people know what is REALLY going on at CarZone and the LIARS they truly are, RUN if you can! I bought a Navigator from these scam artists just over a year ago and it has been nothing short of a nightmare! Unfortunately for me, I had bad credit when I needed a car last year, which is why I ended up even walking this lot. I found the car I wanted, a Lincoln Navigator, and I went through the details of signing and driving off with my car. Mistake on my part? Not caring to notice the 30% interest rate on a 14k car (worth about 7k) these smooth talkers got by me. Despite this, the problems began immediately. As soon as we started to drive home we realized the clicking sound coming from the car and the DVD player not working. We called and they said they would fix the problem, we brought it in and a few days later it was in our possession...at least for a bit. Not more then a few days later the car dies and the air suspension won't work. I called in again and they assured me they could fix the problem.....two weeks later we get the car back and again it works for a short while. Later we found out these disgusting liars NEVER fixed a thing. This continued on for months, with our car going back and forth to the dealership...God knows I would hold them accountable for every lie they told me. I asked to see paperwork and licenses for the "mechanics" that fixed me car...what did I get? Forged documents and excuses that there mechanics didn't need to be licensed (except the fact the DMV says its against the law for them to be maintaining vehicles through a business without licenses). The papers they gave me were bogus and we now have proof from the Ford Dealership that NO ONE EVER fixed our air suspension, they stated to us to sell the car because these guys were ripping me off, the car was going downhill fast. We took it to two other mechanics who went on to confirm they were most definitely lying to us. In the end, we have now had the car for a little over a year (thankfully paid off this car a few days ago) and it spent at least THREE MONTHS BEING FIXED!!!!!!!! They did accommodate me with other vehicles on their lot to drive while my car was constantly being repaired, which gave me even more insight into the vehicles they sell. I borrowed at least 8 different vehicles from their lot and I will tell you EVER SINGLE ONE HAD HIDDEN MECHANICAL ISSUES, every single one! What these snakes do is clean the cars up and rig them to work a few months and then the buyer is stuck with a crapped out car. They only chose to repair my vehicle because I threatened to stand outside the lot with boycott signs and gave REAL reviews on every social media platform I could find. They even called to threaten me if I didn't take my review down. One of their managers, while they had my car in the shop of repairs, threatened to take the vehicle I was borrowing if I didn't take the review down...btw this was done while I was driving my kids to school. THREATENED ME!!!!! Can you believe it??? I made sure to record and comment every single incident between that time and because of that, have caught them in numerous lies. Just 2 weeks ago, Pablo THE MANAGER, confessed he had told his dumbed down minion, Chewy, to lie to me because they were delaying work on my vehicle. My car sat in the lot for 3 weeks, (the morons not knowing a drove by taking pictures of the lack of work) and when I would call they would give me some elaborate and BS story about how much they cared about me and wanted to do the right thing. Lies, lies, and more lies. After getting the car "repaired," it immediately died the next day and we were forced to buy a new $`130 battery for the car. However, despite this the car has been sitting in the same place. It's more than obvious these rats sabotaged my vehicle knowing I was paying it off. They are just disgusting people inside and out. Thankfully, I bought a new car from a reputable dealer, which we use now to get everywhere. The piece of junk car they sold me embodies exactly who these people are...washed up and broken. They are complete idiots who rip people off! I am begging you, even if you have bad credit, don't go here! Even by walking across the street to Harry's you'll find they won't massacre you the way CarZone will, nobody will. Just remember as you walk the lot, the cars looks shiny and new but they are junk inside!!! You will with 100000000% certainty have major mechanical issues with your car. Read the REAL reviews on this place, not the one's the dirty salesmen put up for you all to read. Also, it should be noted that I have now been contacted by FIVE different owners, who are trying to put together a lawsuit against these people for their illegal practices. And yes I do regret now not reading their reviews. I am here to save you from wasting your time, energy, and hard earned money with this car lot. For anyone out there that has try to have Nate or Derek help you with the bad car they sold you...that is over priced and most likely they will never fix the issues wrong with your car, that you are stuck with, because there are not in the business of taking cars back... I have purchased two cars from CarZone, once in 2008 when it was a fairly new dealership in town, and again in April of this year. I have to say that I have only ever had positive encounters with the staff and the cars. When I started looking at getting a new (to me) car last year I went by CarZone just to see where I would be at (having had many successful years trashing my credit, but more trying to rebuild it) needless to say I wasn't where I wanted to be. I got "matched up" with Martin when i walked in last year... I kinda feel like its a roll of the dice kinda thing when you make your way onto a used car lot. You never know who your going to have to deal with. I was really impressed with Martin, he was really nice and honest. He gave me some great advice and let me test drive a couple cars that were in my "range". I wasn't quite feeling the cars that were in that range, and decided to wait and do more homework and more repair on my credit. I was able to revisit buying a new car in spring, having done a ton of research with a couple cars from different dealerships on my list. Martin was super cool when called and asked when I could come by to test drive some that I had my eye on. Not only did I do my "homework" on the car(s) I had my eye on, but I also looked at my credit scenario and insurance needs. The car I ended up getting is perfect. 2008 Scion xB. Its USED so it has some cosmetic damage and you can tell it had a owner who loved it before it was mine (as in drove the heck out of it). The buying process was one of the better ones that I have been through when it comes to vehicles. I come from a car savvy background, and am highly critical of odd noises or mechanical 'inaccuracies". Those were all stated by Martin and myself while we test drove it, and HE made sure to get the issues in writing on my contract before I signed it. Seeing as how I am still in the process of rebuilding my credit, they were SOO flexible on the down payment and really very respectful of my finance situation. After everything was said and done, and the ink dried on the line, I set up an appt with their mechanics to have them check out the things that we had noted in the contract. **Keep in mind that there was nothing mechanically wrong with the car--it was purely cosmetic issues that they fixed** Not only did they fix the issue that we noted in the contract but they changed out the breaks for me too. I did not ask them to do that. I have been driving it now for SEVERAL weeks and just recently took my car to Tahoe, and I LOVE my car. I love it, and I had a really good experience with the staff, especially Martin and the girl at the front desk. Buying a used car can be really intimidating, but as long as you do your research and come in with the CLEAR knowledge that you're buying a previously owned vehicle, its great. If I could give no stars, I would. I could write a book about how bad the experience working with CarZone was. I wish I would have read all the bad reviews before going there. Unfortunately, they had the car I wanted and after the horrible experience I was not able to get out of the contract for my car but I was able to get out of the purchase of a second vehicle. The experience started great with the greeting and salesmen offering water. It quickly went downhill from there. Phil lied to us and masked his discomfort by trying to be funny and saying many sarcastic remarks which were not welcome or appreciated. Beau went as far as screaming at my husband (I have an audio recording that I saved for proof to our lawyer) and he got in his face so much that I though he would strike my husband. They called us numerous times asking to drive 30 minutes for odd reasons and once even apologized for making us drive all the way to them from Carson when it ended up not being necessary. They lost our keyless entry fob and tried to say that we had lost it or that it never existed. We asked to get certain things fixed or replaced on the vehicle and they never were and the things that were fixed were done lazily (to put it in nice words). Various times when we would go to the office it would smell strongly of marijuana and when I confronted Beau about it as he screamed at my husband, he blamed it on the customers! (Also on the recording!) I wish there were a way to upload the recording but if anyone is interested in hearing it, just ask. I am glad we no longer have to deal with them but I want to warn other people so that they don't have to go through the horrible experience we went through. After Beau had to cut me a check for the cash I had put down on a second vehicle he apologized and offered to buy my husband and I dinner, NO THANK YOU! I was glad he apologized EVENTUALLY, but that really isn't enough for all that we went through and for the many questions left unanswered and the information we asked for that was never provided. It does not surprise me that the Better Business Bureau does not back this company and they have many complaints filed through the BBB also. DO NOT GIVE CARZONE YOUR BUSINESS! read more

However, if this review prevents even 1 person from buying a car from Carzone and saving themselves from the gross negligence, and pure deceit of this company then it will be worth my time. 1. DO NOT TRUST BEAU, Beau will look you in the eye, and shake your hand and promise you that he will take care of you no matter what. When it comes down to it he will do the bare minimum, replace parts with cheap aftermarket parts, Co-eherse you into purchasing after market warranties and with-hold pages of the warranty diclosinging exclusions. I believe they fraudulently smogged the truck for California, My smog guys doesnt know how they could have done it. 2. THEY WILL LIE, I purchased a 2003 F250 with 89,000 miles on it and they did not disclose that they replaced the engine. They will not provide information on the engine that they replaced it with. As far as I know they replaced it with a 200k engine. The truck went Check Engine less than 250 miles off the LOT. They will show you the car facts, but they don't submit the work they do to car facts. 3. Any Attempts you make to resolve the matters will end up in phone calls that don't get returned and getting passed around departments saying they aren't responsible. As well as many broken promises by Beau 4.. And after all that headache and hard work, you ended up leaving with a busted as$ car having to come back a month later to get it fixed, waiting another month to get it back, with no loaner car to use, only to get your car back with scraped up rims and a burn clutch, (I had to take it back again back the clutch gave out on me, and supposedly it was brand new and held to wait another month) and it just needed a check engine light looked at!! I was nervous about finding a place to buy a reliable car, and being able to be financed since the credit union I bank at would not finance me for 6000.00. I got in contact with someone at CarZone and told them how much money I had for a down payment, how much I wanted to pay in interest, what my credit score was, etc and told them if they couldn't help me, to not waste my time. Derick, the finance person said he did not see a problem in getting me financed. I was so excited, yet worried at the same time because now I had to pick something that was going to be reliable. I didn't think I would be able to get an SUV like I wanted, so I went in looking for an AWD car, but soon found out that I was able to get something that cost a little more as long as it fit into my comfort zone on car payments. I test drove a Jeep Commander and loved it, but stopped at the second lot to check out what they had. I was still sold on the Commander so, we took care of paperwork which to my surprise took less time than looking for and picking out a vehicle! My last car buying experience took 4 hours for paperwork and I paid 28% inerest! I left happy, but was worried once I tried the 4 wheel drive and it didn't drive right after that. I thought I was going to be screwed because it was bought "as is." I called Derick and told him what happened and he said that if I could get it to them (since I lived 300 miles away) that they would take care of it and give me a loaner car! I was so relieved to hear this! I towed it back, picked up the loaner car and about a week and half later they called to let me know I could come pick up my Jeep! You won't get the usual run around with these guys. They're very honest and it shows. I finally found a great deal. I've been shopping out car dealers in Reno and Carson City and by far these guys have the best bang for your buck. Their inventory is huge. I found three cars at their lot I was interested in which was funny because the rest of Reno I couldn't find anything that I had interest in. Pablo is very trustworthy and I'll write an example why. I was pre-approved with my own credit union at 3.99%. I told Pablo about my credit and he said that he could beat the rate as long as what I said was true. I let him know that I would need a day or two to get my financing done with my credit union but Pablo's deal was that if he couldn't beat my pre-approved rate that he would give me a $200 gas card. He said he was willing to "put his money where his mouth is," lol. Long story short he got me approved at 1.99% for the same amount of time and I really appreciate his hard work. I'd love to purchase from this establishment once again. I urge everyone to shop out any dealer but you can feel comfortable that you'll get a honest deal for less than what other car dealers are trying to get for their cars at Carzone. read more

My 4runner is badass in so many ways. Yes the Toyota Celica is gone, but don't fret. In it's place is the 4x4 ready 2010 Toyota 4Runner. I like my whips with hella options so of course i got my new baby fully equipped. Heated leather seats, sun roof, alpine stereo, and Bluetooth. Since i got it each morning feels better than the last. I look forward to my morning commute to work. If this was a workout infomercial it would be called from flab to fab. I'm putting it all together now. Getting my health back on track was just the beginning. Now I'm prepared for whatever mother nature decides to throw at me. Minus tornados, hurricanes, and earthquakes. But anything else mother nature has I say bring it on! Trading in my car was pretty simple. Brought my old car over to the dudes lot. They took a look at her, tested out the buttons, then took her for a little spin. Got more for my trade than I thought she was worth so that was awesome. Just made my payments less for my yota. The one thing that shocked me was how fast they got me out of there. From the test drive, including the part where the valued my trade the whole process lasted just under an hour. read more

I just had a great experience at this dealership. I usually don't post reviews on things like this but when I asked the manager what I can do for them helping me out so much, he said to just write a review, so here it is. We all have our assumptions about what car dealerships, especially used car dealerships, will be when we show up. This dealership didn't fit any of those stereotypes whatsoever. These guys were incredibly helpful, and after making sure we had everything that we needed including the lowest possible interest rate, they called me on my way home and told me they got 2.25% even lower than I could find it any other credit union and lower than what they promised me. They worked with me on the price and there was no haggling or mishaps throughout the process. It also helped that it was incredibly speedy for my family. I was in the market for a car, so I started researching used cars in the Reno, NV area. Since I am on a fixed income I looked at vehicles that had a little bit higher mileage but well maintained. That's when I discovered Carzone. Their website is very easy to navigate and the site also includes Carfax and Carstory so their are no surprises. After having done my homework, I went to the lot and spoke to a young man named Luis Del Rio. He showed me around and answered my questions on the cars I had picked online. With all that information, Luis took me around and showed me some cars that would fit what I was looking for. We ended up finding a very clean car, with relatively low mileage, and very good history. If you are looking for a used car don't let Carzone's location steer you away. They will work with you make sure you end up with the right vehicle. I was looking to trade in my SUV for a Toyota 4Runner. Efren showed me the one that I had seen on their site. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions and concerns. They were fair in the value of my trade in, and helped me get my financing in place. They did offer an extended warranty which I feel is money well invested on a used car. Phil checked in with me to make sure that I was comfortable with the whole experience or if I needed any other information. Beau was great easy to work with and easy talk to. I had a couple of small issues with the vehicle (a crack in the windshield), they had the windshield replaced. After hearing of other peoples problems with dealers in the past, you almost hate to bring a problem up. The guys at CarZone took care of it quickly. The first time I bought a vehicle from Carzone I was really satisfied with the deal. I just referred my sister who flew in from orange county to buy a car. According to her they were really informative and responsive over the phone, attending to all of her questions and concerns. They showed her the value of her new Tahoe and even price matched one that was similar to the one she bought. I feal kind of bad because she saw the Tahoe that Carzone price matched and it was nowhere as clean as the one they sold her. I even let the guys know of this after the sale because I know how honest they are and I just didn't feel good about the way we negotiated with them. Bought a few motorcycles in my life but this was the first truck I bought. This may turn into a lengthy review because I was really expecting something more on the lines of the stereotypical sleezy salesman being quite pushy and asshole like but that just wasn't the case. I got to check out their trucks without the salesman following me around, ( or as my dad calls them "the vultures"). I was shocked how easy it is to test drive cars. I pretty much just went inside and told the guy which trucks I was looking at they just handed me the keys. For some reason I thought that they would want 3 forms of id and proof of residence or something. But they just trusted me, which allowed me to trust them, just a little, as well.
