The risotto had asparagus and bits of shrimp in it. The salmon was tender and tasteful. Our friends had clams casino and halibut, which they loved! For desert we ordered the Silk 'n' Satin, which is cheesecake with a "dome" of chocolate mousse. And they meant a dome! It was one of the best deserts I have ever had and the 2 of us had trouble finishing it! Prices were all very reasonable for such quality French food. The waitstaff (all women) were knowledgeable and attentive. And both the owners (mother and daughter) stopped by to talk to us to make sure we were enjoying our experience. The restaurant setting itself is nice with calming, soft colors. Highly recommend!!

Some in our group were painfully hungry by the time entrees arrived.

Although, we enjoyed the service and atmosphere very much, we had mixed feelings on the food. There were a few hits and misses. The All Day Sammie was huge and difficult to eat. The scrambled eggs were good, but the bread was crumbling with every bite. The hash browns were too hard, and the house-made sausage lacked flavor. That being said, I did enjoy The Smattering. I really liked their griddled bread with berry jam, and the breakfast potatoes and eggs were seasoned well. The bacon was fried too hard, but once redone, it was good. Our beverages were really quite good. The Butterfly Effect and the Elderberry Healer Tea were both nice options. We would return to try some of their other offerings.

We were greeted with a big welcome from Nick, who also gave me a crocheted heart. That made my day! Love Brunch Sayville!! Such a gorgeous, hidden gem vibe with plenty of seating whether you want the bar or a table. The food was genuinely unforgettable, we were still talking about it days later. If you love bold flavor with a little heat, this is your spot. We got the Bruschetta (grilled herb crostini, mozzarella, plum tomato compote), P.E.I. Mussels (chorizo, cherry pepper, riesling white wine), Wasabi Calamari (sesame crusted, spicy soy ginger sauce, wasabi aioli), Shrimp Mezze Rigate (pesto, sun-dried tomato, asparagus, breadcrumb, ricotta salata), and Cherry Pepper Pork (pounded, breaded, pan-fried, lemon cherry pepper sauce, melted parmesan, green beans, roasted potato), every dish was packed with flavor. Don't sleep on dessert either: a chocolate shell you crack open to reveal mousse inside, we were fighting to get the last bites! Bonus: they carry LI Salted Spirits cans and cocktails right at the bar, so you can keep the tasting going. Plenty of parking, super friendly staff, and a great spot for everyone. Highly recommend, ten out of ten!

Went for Mother's Day and we had to get the high tower which was good, I think it was priced high for what it was. Shrimp sandwich was my favorite. Why I'm not rating it higher: I made the reservation 2 weeks before Mother's Day, the only thing available was a 10:45am so I took it. They called me two days before to confirm and said they had a 1:30 available, I started asking questions about the food more being suited toward lunch or breakfast, a bit snippy they put me on hold, I txt my wife quick and she said take the 1:30, the woman gets back on the phone and says sorry someone on the other line just took the 1:30... I said.... What! I was offered it and didn't give you an answer yet. She didn't care and was very dismissive. Won't be returning,
