The shop itself is super bright and clean, and the outdoor courtyard seating is great when the weather is nice. The staff working was incredibly friendly and patient. I ordered three scoops of their vegan ice cream on a vegan sugar cone. The team member was so careful stacking each scoop to make sure the whole tower wouldn't topple over--I managed to snap a quick photo of the masterpiece (see photo!), but sure enough, I didn't get very far before gravity won and the whole thing came tumbling down. Without missing a beat, the staff member immediately made me a fresh one and kindly packed it into a cup this time around. Super helpful and genuinely great customer service. The ice cream was delicious, as always. Definitely hitting this spot again--though probably only after a heavy workout to balance it out!

What wasn't fine was hearing him make a rude comment in an annoyed tone to the friends I was with while I was taking the time to check ingredients. My friend didn't want to make a big deal out of it and just told him it was okay and she'd take her ice cream as is. After checking everything, I specifically told him the safest option for me was the vegan peanut butter honeycomb. I walked outside, took one bite, and immediately had to spit it out -- it was cookie dough. After explaining I can't have gluten, taking the time to carefully check ingredients, and being told he couldn't give me product information... I somehow still ended up with a cup full of gluten. Thankfully my reaction isn't as severe as it could be for someone else, but that is a huge concern and could be genuinely dangerous for another customer. Mistakes happen, but between that, the rude attitude toward my friend, and the dismissive demeanor he had with other customers while we were there, it made for an overall pretty bad experience. And to top it off, it was easily some of the most overpriced ice cream I've ever bought.
