I unfortunately don't get down here nearly as often as I'd like, but I definitely help 'empty' their challah racks when I'm in the area! You grab a large brown paper bag, walk through the place and fill it with freshly made bagels and breads, and then pay what seems like some arbitrary low number they come up with while at checkout! When I was growing up, we'd go in here at 4-5 a.m. when returning from the city and purchase even 'fresher' bagels and breads if that's even imaginable! How you can still get this close to production and touch and take yourself is beyond me, but I don't care! I LOVE this place! Long live Rockland Bakery for never changing! FYI, Don't leave without ordering a few sweets from the bakery side! Again, you won't believe what you're paying for what you're getting!

The combination of ube and matcha is unbelievably creamy, smooth, and rich without being overly sweet. The ube has that perfect nutty vanilla-like flavor with a deep, authentic taste, while the matcha is earthy, bold, and balanced beautifully. Swirling the two together makes every bite even better. What really stands out is the texture it was light, fluffy, and silky soft serve that melts perfectly. The flavors taste fresh and premium, not artificial at all. The presentation is also gorgeous, making it almost too pretty to eat. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staffs make the experience even better. They also serve bubble milk teas, Dubai chocolate cup and more!! They even have a pretty mirror to take picture with

I'm giving Robin's Creamery another try after two very different experiences here…read more My first visit was five stars. The flavors were excellent, everything tasted great, and the cones were big and solid. My next visit dropped to three stars because service was painfully slow with only one employee working, and then we discovered that our cones had hollow centers. So we came back and gave them another chance. This time, service was speedy. There were three people working, everyone was friendly, and we got our orders quickly. The ice cream tasted great all around too. But... the products are still inconsistent. Two people had the ube cones, and those were solid. Three other people received hollow centers in their cones and cup. It's just disappointing. Everything was also extra soft this time. The ice cream was much meltier than what we've experienced here before. Not bad tasting, just noticeably different. So yes, this visit was better. Much better service and great flavor, but we still didn't walk away feeling the same way we did after that first five star visit. At $9 per cone, I think they need to deliver a more consistent product. The flavors are good and there's clearly something worth coming back for, but when the experience can vary this much from visit to visit, it's hard to justify that price.

Dinuguan: the cooked pork blood was fresh with lean pork meat without any unwanted fat that you'll find in a typical turo-turo restaurant in California. I've noticed that all their dishes were not greasy at all even those dishes that were cooked with coconut milk. Espasol and buko pie were great dessert selections as well. I stopped in after work and was greeted by the friendly staff at the counter, who helped me choose and answered my questions about their different fillings. All the treats are displayed in a glass case, and let me tell you, they taste just as amazing as they look. I went with the strawberry cheesecake, dulce de leche, and Samoa cookie cupcakes. I also got a massive slice of their Italian Rainbow Crumb slice(it felt like half a pound!)--so moist, soft, and packed with flavor. Not to mention, I grabbed a 1/2 lbs chocolate chip cookie and three doggie treats (my pup Abbie gives them 5/5 paws!). They even offer a 4% discount for cash payments, which was a nice perk. As you can see from the pictures, everything looks incredible, but one bite proved it's not just about appearance. The flavors are bold, the icing complements the cake perfectly, and the cupcake cream is luxuriously rich. If you're looking for delicious, fun cakes that won't disappoint, I highly recommend Caked Up Cafe 5/5 stars!
