I came for some carvel ice cream service was great the people that work here are very attentive and friendly. The ice cream flavors they have were just okay. I ordered a cookies and and cream ice cream and it was very old fashioned like. Meaning It was not as creamy and rich as I was hoping it be. I think also cause I haven't had carvel in a long time I forgot what it taste like but they are very old fashioned I wanted to try the pistachio but it was such a neon green color that it kinda scared me away as to why it had such a bright color. I never tried this carvel location because it's not close to me, but today I decided to while waiting for a friend. I ordered a small vanilla milkshake. I'm a person who LOVESSS their milkshakes thick. I asked the cashier "can you make it really really thick please, thank you." She says okay with a slight head nod of understanding. While she's making it I notice she's mixing it a lot longer than how I usually prefer it. I called her multiple times but she decided to ignore me. Once she was finished I looked at it and asked her if it was thick. She gave me a blank look- like I never requested my preference. She already seems pissed off so I didn't have the energy to ask her to make a new one. I wish she just said no, we do it one standard way. I would have gotten something else.. very disappointed. I love this Carvel. I've bought so many Ice Cream cakes here for so many different occasions. It is owned by a mandarin speaking family and they take such pride in their handicraft. I was waiting for them to write 'happy birthday' on a cake and the woman in the back was making a Cookie Puss. She was so careful and stopped a few times to check on her work... or perhaps she was actually admiring her own work!!! I love that in a business: pride in your own workmanship. read more

Let me start with this: I've been a customer here at this same Carvel for (some) of my Carvel cravings since 2007. My mom has ordered birthday cakes from this Carvel. Today was the final straw even though none of my other experiences were anywhere near this bad. So recently, they put up signs for "Reese's Overload" Sundae Dashers. With pictures of Reese's pieces. I've been going CRAZY trying to just get a Carvelanche with Reese's Pieces (my favorite candy, previously not available at Carvel). M&M's are good, but not as good. I finally found a front and center vat of them at this Carvel and ordered one today, which leads to my 1-star experience and why after 11 years I will not be returning. They were cleaning one of the soft serve machines (sounds good, right? It probably was why my issue happened, also, it was about 2:30PM which didn't seem like a very good time to be cleaning the machine in my opinion). The woman working there (seen her many times over the years) was fine, a little slow-moving, but all seemed well till I got my ice cream. It was more of a yellow-white than a normal Carvel vanilla soft serve white. OK, no big deal, right? Wrong. It was oddly watery and didn't have the proper taste or consistency of Carvel ice cream. My mom thinks it was light ice cream (but the person made no mention of this and I'd think it should at least be mentioned even with clear evidence of machine cleaning) but it was DISGUSTING. I ate maybe 3 bites before tossing it down the sink, and no, I could not even just eat the candy out of it, it was that bad. And to make matters worse, my family had gotten a Carvel coupon book in the mail a few weeks prior and we went trying to redeem some of them today. We presented our coupons prior to ordering, the woman took our coupons...BUT WE GOT NO DISCOUNT. So not only did we get subpar, nasty ice cream, but we paid full price for it WHEN WE HAD AND RELINQUISHED COUPONS FOR $1 OFF EACH PRODUCT. That's theft. They owe us $2, which may not sound like much, but with the hell I went through looking for Reese's pieces at Carvel (this was my 4th attempt trying to get some over ~2 weeks) and still getting screwed, that $2 makes a difference to me. Still would probably never return, but I honestly wouldn't have written this review if I had those $2, but I didn't realize until it was too late. read more

Friendly staff and very clean. They have lots of prepared ice cream to choose from and even have the oreo's. Only complaint is the pistachio ice cream had peanuts in it which was disapointing. read more
