Love this place! Best gelato I've ever had. And I love gelato and chocolate. My favorite thing to get here is cappuccino and chocolate in a chocolate covered coned; although they also have milkshakes, lots of chocolate and they make fresh crepes. I'm so glad this gelato spot is so convenient to get to; I absolutely love it. I can't wait to go back and try other gelato flavors. All of the ones I've tried are delicious. I had been wanting to try their gelato for a long time and finally had the chance. The woman at the counter let me try as many flavors as I wanted before committing. They even had parmesan cheese and olive oil flavors which J thought were unique. I ended up getting the cremino and tiramisu which were a good combo together. It tastes so fresh. I got a regular size cup which was plenty. Its a bit of an expensive treat but well worth it. I will be back to try the other flavors. read more

Don't believe all the grumplstitlkins on here! Great and patient service with a smile bc their ordering system and menu can feel a bit overwhelming. I recommend the gelato and for chocolate, the cremini are my favorite. Total crack and I dare you to eat just one and resist having another. Giovanni is the best server here! I was in The Westchester Mall a month or so ago and noticed that Venchi had opened in the spot previously occupied by another confectionary (maybe Godiva? I honestly don't remember). Anyway, the store had really good curb appeal, but I wasn't in the mood for something sweet so I put in on my backburner. Flash forward to yesterday when I was in the mall again and needed a little pick me up, so I decided to check Venchi out. Venchi has multiple locations, the other two I have come across are in Manhattan. The store sits on a corner of the mall and kinda wraps around the curve and hence is wider than it is deep. Venchi is mostly known for their gelato, and they have a wide selection of flavors to choose. Additionally, they have chocolate in various forms, dessert-based drinks, and coffee. I wasn't in the mood for gelato, but their coffee was speaking with me. They don't have a regular drip per se, but they have cappuccino, espresso, Americano, and a few others. I decided to get a cappuccino with a couple shot of espresso. The coffee was good - not too strong and it maintained my plural peps. My only criticism is that for the size of the drink the price was a little high. Service was good, everyone was friendly and service was swift. Overall, I had a good experience at Venchi. While I did not try their gelato, the good vibes definitely make me want to return for some more coffee - and gelato. read more

OMG! there are no words to describe the deliciousness that is Venchi. get a waffle cone with the chocolate fountain dripped in, and the chocolate ice cream is a must try. my one complaint was that the u e cream melted easily and a bit quickly because of the warm chocolate fountain; but man was it all worth it. i will DEFINITELY return! read more

If you have a sweet tooth and need your fix, you have to try the gelato from Venchi. Yes, it is a bit expensive but the flavor is so rich, order a small. Mine cost a bit extra because I added toppings, but I couldn't help myself. I've never tried the chocolate bars here but they are a great gift to give during the holidays. I've heard their hot chocolate is very good so I will be back to try! read more

I had a really disappointing experience at this store.I was excited to try the gelato, but the service was terrible. I waited in line for over 10 minutes with no assistance, even though I was standing directly in front of the counter. Eventually, the manager noticed and asked a worker named Cristina to help me. However, Cristina told me I had to pay first before I could sample the gelato, which I thought was unreasonable. When I explained I wanted to try it before buying, she directed another coworker to give me samples, while she just stood there doing nothing. The manager tried to smooth things over but basically gave me "Thank you for sharing" and didn't know how to problem solve. The lack of professionalism and customer care was really frustrating. Another manager came over and was better at listening and explained the protocol but it was still unclear. Put a sign up and say, samples only after you purchase. Overall, I left feeling neglected, confused and a big waste of time. I won't be returning. PS Trying a chocolate sample is similar to someone who doesn't want to share. You almost have to beg for the sample making people feel unwelcome and that they are inconveniencing them. Unless they are targeting customers to not share samples with. read more

Tonight I was online at the Westchester mall location. When it was my turn to order, my 89 year old wheel chair bond mother was undecided. I let the girls behind us place their orders as they were ready. Now it was my turn or so I thought ; the other server told me I had to go to the back of the line to order and took the next person. Me, my wife and daughter decided to get some Ice cream while we were shopping at the Westchester mall. The Godiva store now serves o e cream so we decided to give it a shot.. We ordered 3 baby sizes and paid $25 for 3 ice creams..a little pricey for a single scoop of ice cream..once there we ordered the stracatella and the cremino flavors..it looks like u need to stick to the hazelnut flavors to get the best flavor for ur money.. I visited twice recently. The first time was great -- customer service was very friendly, attentive and informative. The product itself, a cremino gelato shake, was very lackluster. It mostly tasted like milk with some syrup on the bottom... not sure if that's what it's suppose to taste like, but I did have more of a creamier expectation. The second time, I came in initially wanting a latte. I changed my mind when they said they don't do iced lattes, so I asked if I could have the nougatine coffee instead. The woman told me she had never heard of that before when it was clearly on the menu. I was a little confused because... I assumed that employees would be knowledgeable. She had to go to the back to ask for some assistance and offered an espresso with a chocolate instead. I said sure because I just needed some sort of coffee in my system first thing in the morning for work. However, she rang me up for the nougatine drink even though I received espresso. The chocolate wasn't even nougatine either, at the very least. Customer service could've been better and the espresso was also lackluster -- definitely not worth $7. Really bummed I didn't get what I wanted and overpaid at that. read more

Beautiful store, very pricey. The staff was a little pushy with selling and signing up from rewards that it almost made me want to leave. Ended up getting a few small chocolate bars by the register, the chocolate was really good. read more
