First off, they carry a lot of local beer and spirits which is critical because it's the best. Second, they have one of those cool walk in refrigerators, if you're into the domestic stuff. Third, you can special order a lot of stuff directly through their distributor. I did this over the summer with Oxbow Surf Melon hose because I couldn't find the beer anywhere and wasn't willing to go to Oxbow itself. They put the order in and called a week or so later when they had it in the shop for me. I went in, paid and was out the door. SO good to know you can do that! To finish off, the biggest lesson I've learned is NOT to drive into Portland to buy new flavors of seltzer at Apres because Hops and Vine will have it! I always go out of my way to go to Portland to get the newest Apres and then end up at Hopes and Vine soon after and kick myself when I see the special flavor I drove to Portland for.

They had multiple refrigerators and freezers with everything you can imagine, frozen Slab pizza, health drinks, locals meats, local ice cream, etc. I noticed a huge wall of local coffee so I will be going back to hopefully find espresso beans, which are challenging to come by. The Pollo Sinaloense - a thinly pounded and breaded chicken breast topped with chorizo and cheese - was unique and delicious, and nicely balanced with a little salad and Spanish rice.
