Today for instance, I let them know I was on my way and I still waited for 25 minutes and there were only two cars there when I got there. Last time I came I waited 45 minutes and they forgot part of my order so I had to wait an additional 15 minutes for them to go get the rest of my order. That order only had four items I could have definitely shopped it faster. The staff is always super friendly, but I don't know what has happened recently to make the wait times so much longer than they used to be.

There is a point in life where it's important to understand the layout of your local grocery store. That's why it's such a big deal when stores reorganize! Hint Whole Foods, hint Costco. Important things to know about the Standish Hannaford, the main roads in the plaza are one ways, the Clynk bin is always full and the machine rarely has Clynk sticker tape in it. There is a TD Bank ATM inside and the store is currently undergoing a renovation. Exciting but something tells me it will be rearranged. The deli sells the black pepper Cooper Sharp white American cheese. Highly recommend it.

Enter Mardens, turn left and you will see the entrance to Papas. It is also important to note that Papa's is closed on Sunday and Monday, they are open Tuesday-Saturday. With all of that said, Papa's brings amazing prices on all sorts of produce to the people of Southern Maine every week. Papa's makes eating healthy, more affordable. Through their website, they list what they have in stock each day. Here are some of the most amazing deals i've gotten at Papa's over time... 2 packages of blueberries, strawberries or raspberries for $3 A large bag of 6-7 red peppers for $2.50 A bag of red onions for $2 5 lbs of slicing tomatoes for 2.50 Hydroponic strawberries for $1 a pack! All sorts of delicious, sometimes exotic melons for $2 a piece, and sometimes 2 for $3 Also, sometimes there are organic deals as well!
