I live in a rural area of east Texas so when I come to Dallas I try and get in my much needed shopping for clothes and make up. Stop at Dillard's, looked at the new summer sandal selection. I got the heck out of there, so many cute sandals. I knew I would buy 3 pair so I walked away. Then went over to the Mac counter and spent a but load on make up. Ugh shoulda stuck to sandals. I got a lesson on doing my eyebrows. They are so thin that they help me fill them in. After Dillard's I went down to Barnes and Nobles, just a quick look didn't buy anything. Next went to Old Navy. Really great summer dresses and shirts. The thin linen style blouses. Walked out with enough to get me through a week. Again, shopping for more than I needed. Store was busy, had to wait along time to pay once I did they charged me twice. Let's see, they said should fall off in a day or two. Now I still will give the cashier a 5 out 5 because while I was being double charged she smiled the hole time and was shocked to see I was charged twice. Denial worked in her favor! Next walked over to Ulta, as if Mac was not enough I needed to add more things to my collection of make up that I seriously didn't need. Well by now I realized I had spent $400 too much when my original idea was to pick up one thing for $20. Omg! I just realized I spent too much. Overall love the stores, there were a lot more I could have visited.

I shop here often and it's a great outside mall with fun activities for kids and great shopping. I…read morereally like the little outdoor waterpark for the kids. I also appreciate that there are options when you need to buy something that's casual or if you need to have a nice black dress for a night out. There are several stores to choose from And let's not forget. It's always nice to have a quick snack and they're plenty of options.

JCPenney - Thereabouts jeans I bought from JCPenney's for my grandson.

I don't usually shop at JCPenney's, so I wasn't familiar with their return policy. I wasn't…read moreplanning on needing to return/exchange anything. This is more of a warning for anyone that might want to buy something for someone before they might actually need it. You can't even exchange unused items after 60 days. This issue is also not specific to this JCPenney location. It just happens to be the location that I purchased my items from. I bought my grandson some Thereabout jeans during a sale right before school started. Unfortunately, he outgrew them before he had a chance to wear them. If you live in Texas then you know that we're still pretty much having summer even though it's almost November. So it's just starting to get cool enough for jeans. Anyway, I went to JCPenney to see if I could exchange them for a bigger size and was told that unfortunately after 60 days, they won't even exchange them, give you store credit, nothing. You're just stuck with your purchase. I have never been a regular JCPenney shopper (I wasn't pleased with the quality of my purchases in the past). If I ever do happen to shop there again, I will definitely not be buying anything that won't be worn or used immediately. I think I'll just stick to TJ Maxx and Marshalls. Even Ross will give you a store credit for the current price of the item and you have a year warranty on Cat and Jack brand at Target (i'm exchanging another pair of jeans for the very same reason. Thank goodness it hasn't been a year, yet.) I guess I'll be donating these jeans to someone else since my grandson cannot wear them and I'm stuck with them. I also won't feel any pity when JCPenney's announces more store closings.
